I share the same sentiments too... more reason am not folding my arms and waiting for help to come my way.... I have resolved in my mind to get myself out of this situation with God's help.... I am seriously job hunting as we speak
'happening soon by His grace. But be very careful with your next move to avoid the same scenario. A lot of these employers are quite deceptive. You can only know when you're in the system. Take your time to filter the offers. Congrats in advance!

If she goes to gtbank, her pvssy will hear it as an SME marketer undecided mark my words

The unrealistic target will make her go nuts if she doesn't want to sell her sef
I don't think she knows about this. She only told me she was told by her employer that she gets to manage existing clients and walk-in customers. This is an eye opener. Thanks a lot...

Please dont advise her to take up the banking job.

Continue with the dry cleaning Job since the pay has been reviewed....

25,000 difference could make here become a shadow of herself...

Can she meet the outrageous targets the bank would give her? She wont even have the time she enjoys now if she takes up the banking job....

I wont allow my wife to be/fiancee work in any bank EXCEPT CBN....

They can do anything to meet targets
Thank you for your input. The thing is, she was looking at the free weekends she gets to enjoy unlike the laundry sector where weekends are their week days.
CareerGtb Job Vs Laundry Job by Denique(op): 2:57pm On Jun 13, 2019
Hello N'Lers!

A young lady whom I know quite well got a job with GTB as an SME Marketing Officer with a pay of N75K as against the N35K she currently earns in a laundry firm. She tendered her resignation yesterday and her salary was reviewed to N55k as a convincing tool to make her stay. I for one would like for her to take up the banking job to boost her resume and also advance her career growth. I told her the laundry job is a limiting one compared to the possibilities in the banking sector.

She'd like to know your thoughts on which offer to take regardless of the pay as we are both confused right now. Thanks all...

Did anyone got an invite from De west wind Nigeriahuh?
How's just their work environment?
How's their salary structure?

Your contributions will be highly appreciated.
Don't bother going there. I was there today, wasted money on Uber, got there and was told it's a marketing job. There were different categories on their website. I applied for Customer Service/ Clerical and Admin Officer. I found out it was a bait to get people to the place. Those that applied for accounting roles/Executive Managers were left disappointed. I don't understand why they had to put up something other than marketing on its website only to end up with the lies.
Now for the marketing job, you have to bring in 150 drivers to get N50,000 commission after which you MAY be employed as a full time staff.I just left after the RUBBISH TALK. Wasted the whole day there. Thank God for my VERY understanding HR.

You tell no lies bro, Na Dem...

Almost every household has a Yahoo member. It's soooo pathetic. The competition to out do each other is on a whole new level. I can never understand how a 16 year old can afford to build a house for his family with no source of income. You see families contributing money to send their male children to Malaysia so they can erect a mansion for them in a space of 6 months.

I think what they meant is that , once you come, you take another cylinder of equal size. You don't have to stick to your own but there will be quarrel when you bring a neat one and an ugly one is given to you in exchange.

However, that's how it's done in the developed world.

Guys, we all keep talking about how much taxes reduces all your incomes and all that, but i would like to say, no matter how much you are taxed, you can still make good income. I attached a screen shot of the week i earned my highest pay this year, and as you can see, i was charged a lot in taxes, but i still made good money that week. Though i made Imagine getting $2222 in a week. Like i said, its hard work, because i dont get much sleep, but then again i wasn't getting much sleep in Nigeria because of stress, PHCN, noise from generators and security. I earned quite a lot that week also because, 2 of the days in that week were STAT days (holiday) and i worked on that day.
So guys, taxes are not scary at all, the more you earn, the more you get taxed, but the point there 'THE MORE YOU EARN'. Just to point out, this was my pay for that week.
Bruh, I admire you o. Can't wait to leave too cry

Because that's what blacks do. Even in America blacks are known for advocating for the release of the most dangerous murderers back into the society.

A 19yo rapper named YnwMelly shot and killed two of his best friends in his car and black people are calling for his release.

Very very shameful.
Shameful!
