Good morning people. Please how much is fair to give these omoonile for foundation. I am about starting foundation work somewhere around mainland Lagos built and the community leaders are asking for 1millon naira. I could bring in military guys to stay with the workers until they finish the foundation but what happens afterwards. How do people here handle the omo onile syndrome.

The Entitlement mentality in Lagos is something else. Imagine Omonile demanding 1m from a client to bought a land with his money. Just to build, they are mentioning 1m. It's just crazy how Lagos has made this be. Very unfortunate. I don't even know what to say sir. It really pains me to hear this type of thing because I know it happens mostly in Lagos. And the way they talk about this money ehh pisses me off the most as if they gave it to you to hold for them.

We are now taking delivery of more materials for start up now... Fence block work is starting immediately. 1000 blocks purchased for that now for the stretch of fence we are focusing on..

Sharp Sand delivery, Granite and more irons...

We are currently buying a ton of iron TMT for 435K now. On site now we have 3 tons of 16mm, 2 Tons of 12mm and 1 and half ton of 10mm fora start.

400 Bags of Cement, delivered now on site as well for a start... Let's see how far we can go with this before we restock...

More Plastering work update

1.2m height ground beam rings done and ready for use. We are doing preparations way ahead of the task start up date.

We are working to get this up to roofing March Ending... 2022 Latest First week of April

Rammed and set for Site concrete work after the iron works is completed...

Quick question about the colour of this roof, doesn’t black absorb more heat into the space, I understand the most likely POP will be used for the ceiling?

Also I’m at the roofing stage of my project as well, 1st thing on my list to do this year. If you don’t mind can you share contact of the supplier of the long span , I have about 265sqm to roof.
