We have been slowed down here a bit due to a scarcity of bamboo. However, we have made some alternative arrangements and work is resuming fully tomorrow...

While we proceed with the concrete works on lintel only. Block laying and decking leveling will commence equally tomorrow as we proceed.

Are their imported doors that are above the conventional 7ft high (9 coaches)?

Yes sir. I have seen 10 fit doors and more.
And there are equally custom made doors like the ones we are going to use for our Lekki projects by Trinitas ™ Homes and Properties

You used 10 coaches for door (entrance) instead of the conventional 9 coaches for door. The 10 coaches will automatically increase the door height from the usual 7ft.

Do you have a special or customised door to install for the entrance?

That's for the question and observations.
This was done intentionally because we intend to increase the entrance porch there a bit when we get towards the finishing stage...

Can you finish laying foundation blocks before standing these columns if the rods are not yet ready?

Yes you can, but for best practice you have to do your starter pillars. This is because, for your pillars to be properly done. You will need to do a colum base for pad and strip foundation as we did here then pour concrete to fill up the base to the same strip height then lay your blocks to close down the 900mmx900mm colum base or 1200mmx1200mm colum base size to 9 inches that's 225mm which is the colum spaces between the blocks.
