When you say to decking, does this cost include the block work on the second floor decking up to roofing level? Does this estimate also include roofing?

No sir.
Just to the decking only from foundation.
We are resuming this project next month.

Boarding of Ground Beans ongoing with its pillar works. We have about 45 Pillars in this building...

Blinding for the Raft...

Dry mix deployed because of the water composition inherent. Meanwhile pumping out of water was simultaneously done in areas where they are more than required.

Engineer, the above formwork is for your raft base I presume. That means your foundation is sitting directly on the natural ground surface. Was any ground exploration carried out to confirm the natural ground can bear the proposed loads ?

Or what was the major consideration for finding the foundation on the natural ground ?

The basis of the doing the foundation the way is formed based on the prevailing ground condition of the estate which have been filled over a long period of time.

When you equally see the surrounding plots, you find the same type of structure is what we are doing on the same type of foundation.

For both the fence and the main building, you used a pad foundation for the column and a strip footing for the walls in fdn...

After 5 courses of blocks, you introduced a tie beam to tie the columns together so they can support the next courses of blocks ?

Fence doesn't necessarily need pad foundation basically because it's not load bearing.

The main building here is a combination of pad and strip foundation. The beam was introduced for obviously reasons due to the topography of the land in question

The preliminary is not listed on the order of work.

However, for emphasis. Site clearing comes first, storage House and borehole can happen simultaneously or one at a time.
