Very true. He was sacked for knowingly clearing a female student tht didn't qualify to be cleared for admission. I guess he was a clearance officer or so, cos his name fell under non-academic staff. I feel for him though. He lectured me tht year.

Thanks so much. I just spoke with a bank executive, who told me it didn't matter as far as my surname wasn't switched and there was no error in spelling.

CrazyMan: It matters to employers cos the names won't match with other document you would be asked to present. Documents like your birth certificate, your WAEC certificate, your university certificate....etc.

If you should do a change of name, then do it legally so it won't affect you later in the future. Go to a court and swear on the new name you bear, take that sworn affidavit along with you as proof when tendering your documents to any employer...that should be a valid evidence to notify them that the candidate whose NYSC certificate bears Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, is the same person as Goodluck Jonathan Ebele.

Pls house, i just want to know if the switch of one's first and middle name on nysc certificate can have an adverse effect on the bearer.
Wht i mean is; if my name is Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, and on my nysc certificate its written as Goodluck Jonathan Ebele. The position of my surname, Goodluck, did not change.
Does it really matter? Will employers frown at tht? Cos my thots are afterall they're all my names.

Prophet TB Joshua during his live Sunday service today announced tht he has resigned frm announcing prophecies tht concern football. His reasons are due to the insults he's been getting from people, especially when he prophesied last time tht Nigeria won't make the Nations cup. He prophesied tht Nigeria will win this year and it came to pass. Everyone is jubilating now but forgot how they lashed at him then.

Well, we met here in the big house. I got interested in the way she responded to issues, her diction, calm disposition, dress sense(i saw a pic of her) et al. And i was like, it won't be bad knowing her. Almost everyone was asking for her fb name then, so i didn't want to be among the crowd. I needed to be taken seriously. So i asked for her email add instead. Truth is, not every girl reads her mails. I guess i was in for a catch. Sent abt 2 mails, got reply. Found out she was on bbm. The process of knowing each other started, the chats, phone calls, etc, and as time went on I knew THIS was my bus stop!
