As you are going for a Bachelor's degree you are eligible in all fields with the aforementioned documents but if its master's degree programs, it means that it will be few programs not all program.
Bachelor's degree means you are starting afresh and those documents will be use as your "University Entrance Qualification”.

Hi guys, I’m new on here and I’m also new to the whole masters/ visa application for Germany but I’ve been able to apply to 2 schools, still awaiting response. I still don’t understand the blocked account thing and how am I suppose to go about opening one and also I’ll be traveling to Senegal next month, should I just hold on to apply for visa there instead of waiting for 15 months here in Nigeria

Block account is like your prove of funds, you have to open account with fintiba or Dutch bank and transfer €11350 euro to it.. it's better to apply in Senegal because of fast appointment date.. in Senegal you wont wait for 15months and their VO's respect people that came for study visa

no

This is not entirely true as this figure you quote was not written on the checklist website…

I know of people that had the Deutschlandstipendum scholarship (300€ per month) and canceled their cat B and applied for cat A and they did their interview.

Most of the scholarship i have seen so far the range is between €850-750 and they did not go to interview with block account or sponsor letter

Am I the only one that noticed this new changes about German visa application fee.Which one be #180,000 and 200,000 for some Northern states.

Please try read that site again. This is not visa application fees but for documents legalisation or verification

But generally, as a bachelors student I am qualified to apply for a scholarship and if given book for an appointment under the Category A right?

you can apply for any scholarship if you have the required documents. And remember not all scholarship makes eligible for category A, but if the scholarship is from authorities in Germany and the price is within €850-750 and its more than a year then you are eligible

What’s up guys! Please I have a question.

Can a bachelors student apply for a scholarship and book for an appointment under category A?
And secondly if given a scholarship that only lasts for 2 years with a payment of €200 per month or a scholarship of €400 per month that only last for six months and can be renewed for another six months till the ending period of study when you submit a new enrollment certificate and proof of academic records of the previous semester!! With that can a bachelors student book for an appointment under category A?

Any scholarship that is below €850-750 and below one year, you are not qualified for category A

okay so if I understood it correctly one would have to wait for 15 months for embassy appointment, no longer 12 months.

Please what email can I reach the embassy on ?

I read here that it now takes about 15 months for a student visa to be approved, can anyone confirm this ? Please how true is this ?

That is wrong, what you read is that it takes 15months to get visa appointment date for interview. After your interview within 2 mothns your visa supposed to be out.

Pls share if you get a mail today. Just got feedback from the embassy stating that the wait time is almost 18 months now and not just 1 year anymore. “Almost 1.5yrs” in their words. Who else got this message.

This is very bad and its not encouraging, even the VO will also frustrate you. Instead of waiting for 18 months why not use the other German embassy in other west African countries like Benin Republic, Ghana, Togo, Senegal and others. If you hear about the how VO's in German embassies in Ghana and Senegal treat those that came for study visa, you will know that those VO's in German embassy in Nigeria don't rate us at all.

I know my question may sound somehow but I need to ask to be on a safer side.

As an intending(prospective) MSC student, do I need to be proficient in German language to apply for MSC in Germany?

I need honest response please!

You only need German language proficiency if you choose courses that are taught in Germany but if you choose courses that are taught in English language, you dont need German language proficiency

Guys please I need some information. I submitted my application in campus France website by 14 December 2022 by 11pm, I did not receive any message from them. By the end of February I sent them an email about my application and they told me that my application came late so it was not processed. Surprisingly today I got a message from a University in Toulouse about my application and the are requesting some documents from me. Did any have this type of experience.

Good evening Boss and everyone
Sometime last year, around June
I booked visa appointment for category B and I never got a mail.
It's getting close to a year and still no mail to acknowledge or confirm my appointment.

Please what can I do?
And can anyone help me with the proper link to book student visa appointment?

Try and book again with the same passport number,, if the booking goes successfully it means the previous one is not valid or not in their system, but if they tell you that passport number exists in the system it means your application is in their system and you will soon receive appointments date for interview

Hello guys,

Please when someone applies for a loan in Germany then in what category should they book for an appointment?

You can only ask for student loan after one year of study, this means you must be in Germany. You can't ask for loan when you are still in ur country

Hello everyone, Please I need help!!!

I booked for work visa early last year and my appointment is next month. I need a job contract to present to the embassy. I am open to any kind of job that does not require German. It can be cleaning, restaurant, factory, anything. Please anyone who can be of help? I'll greatly appreciate it.
I don't want to miss this opportunity. I have been trying Germany through studies since 2019 but I could not afford the Blocked account and the Sponsorship letter.

Be careful not to fall in the hands of scammers. Those I noticed that have move to Germany on work Visa are those on IT field, apart from that I have not seen any other person

I always advise people about to fund their block account to use known and traceable or relatives in Germany to fund for them. It’s easier than finding from Nigeria

What about when you dont have any one in Germany?

that's the plan.
But, did you try domiciliary Account then?

To be sincere i used my dom account to processed the refund and when the money gets to CBN, my bank told me to write a letter for the money to be converted to naira and send to my naira account , that they can't send the money to my dom account, I wrote the letter and gave them my naira account but I was surprised when I saw alert on my dom account. My friend that followed my step for the refund. They credited his naira account instead of dom account

same account name but Euro Account.
I doubt if that would be a problem

If money is coming into Nigeria from fintiba it will go to central bank direct before your bank will come and get it from them and credit you in naira with official rate. In 2021 when I applied for a refund of my tuition fees from Poland, the money went to central bank and from central bank my bank pick it up from there. But try to see if you will be lucky.. use dom account

Thanks am just confused whether to process it online I don't know if it's fast

The truth is, you have to go to uniben. Go to the business centers close to exams and record, they will do the application and payment for you online, then you take the print out to submit at exams and record. Then find one of the staff that you will sort out things with, he will help you to monitor and push the process. Without that your transcript will not be ready in 6months time

Good morning please do you have idea for online processing of Uniben transcript and how much ?

Uniben transcript is processed online. Within 23k-25k and if they are sending it outside Nigeria through email its 30k but if its through posting to outside Nigeria you will pay extra for the COURIER service

Thanks a lot for this reply, highly appreciated.

I will go to Benin soon.

If you are in uniben go to exams and record. But if you have someone in your HOD's office he can help you with one. They will use department letterhead paper to prepare it, that one will be more fast that the one of exams and record. You DM me let me tell you one other option

Please dont pay that money. Look for another school that is free tuition. Remember your interview is in one year time unless you are out of Nigeria or travel to other African countries for your interview. Once you sign that agreement, you must keep it
