The link you sent isn’t active Honestly no need for telegram or WhatsApp group, its better we ask questions here and proffer the solutions here so that people can see it and read it in years to come. Its because people are posting their questions and answers here that is why you are here |

Thanks to everyone providing valuable information on this thread. It’s been helpful.
I was recently awarded a German Government Scholarship. I would like to if I can apply for my visa in UK where I currently reside with my family or it’ll have to be in my home country.
Thanks. If you have your resident permit in UK you can apply |

pansophist: You can't apply from Senegal due to something known as "territorial competence" As a rule, you should apply in a country that you reside, and if you live in Nigeria, then you should apply from Nigeria.
Although exceptions applies, for example you are a Nigerian living in Senegal (not as a tourist, but with a Senegalese residence permit), then you can apply from Senegal (your place of residence) and Nigeria (your country of citizenship).
Applying from Senegal with documents from Nigeria will not be accepted, or accepted and rejected, since the consular can't examine/verify applications/documents from nigeria. They speak French in Senegal for example. What he only need is resident permit.. his documents from Nigeria will be accepted. I will be applying from there too and I have helped some people with resident permits that makes them to applied there, so the documents from Nigeria is not an issue |

Babe808: Hi guys, I’m new on here and I’m also new to the whole masters/ visa application for Germany but I’ve been able to apply to 2 schools, still awaiting response. I still don’t understand the blocked account thing and how am I suppose to go about opening one and also I’ll be traveling to Senegal next month, should I just hold on to apply for visa there instead of waiting for 15 months here in Nigeria Block account is like your prove of funds, you have to open account with fintiba or Dutch bank and transfer €11350 euro to it.. it's better to apply in Senegal because of fast appointment date.. in Senegal you wont wait for 15months and their VO's respect people that came for study visa |

This is not entirely true as this figure you quote was not written on the checklist website…
I know of people that had the Deutschlandstipendum scholarship (300€ per month) and canceled their cat B and applied for cat A and they did their interview. Most of the scholarship i have seen so far the range is between €850-750 and they did not go to interview with block account or sponsor letter |

mosesronnal: But generally, as a bachelors student I am qualified to apply for a scholarship and if given book for an appointment under the Category A right? you can apply for any scholarship if you have the required documents. And remember not all scholarship makes eligible for category A, but if the scholarship is from authorities in Germany and the price is within €850-750 and its more than a year then you are eligible |

mosesronnal: What’s up guys! Please I have a question.
Can a bachelors student apply for a scholarship and book for an appointment under category A? And secondly if given a scholarship that only lasts for 2 years with a payment of €200 per month or a scholarship of €400 per month that only last for six months and can be renewed for another six months till the ending period of study when you submit a new enrollment certificate and proof of academic records of the previous semester!! With that can a bachelors student book for an appointment under category A? Any scholarship that is below €850-750 and below one year, you are not qualified for category A |

I read here that it now takes about 15 months for a student visa to be approved, can anyone confirm this ? Please how true is this ? That is wrong, what you read is that it takes 15months to get visa appointment date for interview. After your interview within 2 mothns your visa supposed to be out. |

daewoo2010: Pls share if you get a mail today. Just got feedback from the embassy stating that the wait time is almost 18 months now and not just 1 year anymore. “Almost 1.5yrs” in their words. Who else got this message. This is very bad and its not encouraging, even the VO will also frustrate you. Instead of waiting for 18 months why not use the other German embassy in other west African countries like Benin Republic, Ghana, Togo, Senegal and others. If you hear about the how VO's in German embassies in Ghana and Senegal treat those that came for study visa, you will know that those VO's in German embassy in Nigeria don't rate us at all. |

As an intending(prospective) MSC student, do I need to be proficient in German language to apply for MSC in Germany?
I need honest response please! You only need German language proficiency if you choose courses that are taught in Germany but if you choose courses that are taught in English language, you dont need German language proficiency |

Guys please I need some information. I submitted my application in campus France website by 14 December 2022 by 11pm, I did not receive any message from them. By the end of February I sent them an email about my application and they told me that my application came late so it was not processed. Surprisingly today I got a message from a University in Toulouse about my application and the are requesting some documents from me. Did any have this type of experience.

Ineedhustle247: Good evening Boss and everyone Sometime last year, around June I booked visa appointment for category B and I never got a mail. It's getting close to a year and still no mail to acknowledge or confirm my appointment.
Please what can I do? And can anyone help me with the proper link to book student visa appointment? Try and book again with the same passport number,, if the booking goes successfully it means the previous one is not valid or not in their system, but if they tell you that passport number exists in the system it means your application is in their system and you will soon receive appointments date for interview |

I booked for work visa early last year and my appointment is next month. I need a job contract to present to the embassy. I am open to any kind of job that does not require German. It can be cleaning, restaurant, factory, anything. Please anyone who can be of help? I'll greatly appreciate it. I don't want to miss this opportunity. I have been trying Germany through studies since 2019 but I could not afford the Blocked account and the Sponsorship letter. Be careful not to fall in the hands of scammers. Those I noticed that have move to Germany on work Visa are those on IT field, apart from that I have not seen any other person |
