Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha on Tuesday evening intervened in the financial crisis rocking the state owned team, Heartland FC of Owerri thereby averting the match boycott threat by the players. Heartland will therefore now honour their Week 35 match against Sharks in Port Harcourt on Wednesday. A player who spoke on condition of anonymity said that they finally met with the governor on Tuesday and he promised to see to their case. "We met the Governor and he said he will get to us through the Deputy Governor, who he asked to meet with our general manager. He promised to make things right soon,” the player said. Nashville: You will just waste your time typing rubbish. The SW voted GEJ because the ACN did not present a real alternative. The only state where ACN mobilised for Ribadu actually went to Ribadu - Osun state. So please stop posting rubbish. The market men and women in the SW are firmly in the hands of ACN so GEJ just does not stand a chance. There are no solid PDP members in the SW anymore. Secondly you talk about the Igbo vote. Unfortunately the Igbo in Lagos are much more civilised and enlightened than their brothers in the village so most of them will vote ACN. This same people voted Fashola and they are enjoying the benefits of living in Lagos. They will vote Fashola again if his name appears on the ballot. The draw the Group stages of the Champions League will take place in Monaco Live on Sky Sports News from 4pm, with five British teams in the mix. I-B.:Inasmuch as I do not support murder (abortion), there might be a serious case where abortion can be the only way out. e.g. Pregnancy complications, where the mother's life is seriously in danger. The only problem with this law is that people are really going to abuse it. |

deeptesting: LASG should stop harassing Igbo traders in Lagos State and labeling them all sorts of names......If the traders refused to pay tax to the LASG because the market and land belongs to the Federal Government how does that constitute to a security threat? Nigerian students/youths, it is time we tell ourselves the truth. the govt is wicked and and ASUU is also wicked and corrupt. ...who soever envies a wicked man is also wicked. They said they dont have infrastructures to teach, but I will tell you that I attend a federal University that some of the lecturers dont know how operate some equipment in my department. Some of these equipment have not been used for a long time. Yet the message we get each time a lecturer enters is "WE NEED INFRASTRUCTURES" what infrastructures? when the people employed are not qualified to use them. I don't know about others, but in my school and department, the infrastructures we have are better than the lecturers. ASUU Chairman and Escos just want to get their own share of the FG looting and they know they cannot achieve that without this measure. Ask yourself this question: "Where is jega presently, the former powerful ASUU president? |
