Politics › Re: The 11 Sins Of Daura That Led To His Sack by Deo1986(m): 8:58am On Aug 08, 2018 |
PassingShot: Some of you lack cognitive reasoning. It's the more reason many Nigerian youths are unemployable.
First, the senate was on recess. So, it was impossible for the senate to have reconvened without being officially called back by its leadership.
Secondly, two-third majority is required to impeach Saraki and APC does not have that number. So, how could he have been impeached?
Thirdly, it was PDP senators shouting for days of a plot to impeach Saraki on Tuesday even without any cogent evidence. It was same PDP led by Sarathief that conspired with Daura Secret Service (DSS) to deploy armed men to NASS to act out a script in their well-planned drama. If not, how come the APC senators that were alleged to be plotting impeachment were not seen anywhere near the Assembly Quarters?
Fourthly, antecedents of Saraki with Daura have revealed the unholy relationship between the two. It was Daura that produced the biased report used by the Senate not to confirm Magu (twice). It was Daura that prevented EFCC from arresting former DSS boss who is a loyalist of PDP. It was Daura who was repported to be having meetings in the dead of the night with Saraki.
The question sane minds should ask is: If Daura was not being used by Sarathief, how come the idiot of a SP or PDP has not welcomed the sacking of the DSS DG?
Clearly, the alliance between Daura and Sarathief/PDP has come a full circle and it has been exposed. Daura was the enemy within who was revealing top govt plans and directing the scripts acted by Sarathief and PDP.
PMB sometimes is too slow in acting. Daura could have as well engineered his overthrow if he was not axed yesterday. some of us don |

geometricaxis: Am I not better sitting in my house, it's difficult to leave your house and queue all day to vote when the choice is for incompetence on one side and rogues and vagabonds on the other. At some point lesser of two evils is no longer a reason to leave my house and vote....especially when incompetence is narrowing the gap between them.
Buhari does not need my vote to win, unless APC make a serious blunder (like today if it indeed this was their handiwork), the demographics favour them in 2019. If with all this brilliant write up from you, and you are still of the perception that your vote don't count, then something is wrong somewhere. Agreed elections in Nigeria are not fair but one has got to do the needful at least to fulfill all righteousness as it were, so I suggest you eschew that notion and vote your candidate come 2019. |

geometricaxis: Let me say something, I like Buhari, I like Osinbajo. I think Buhari is one of the men of Integrity left in our public space. But integrity does not run a government. What was he doing when Saraki defied the party and became Senate president? He was warned this man is a snake, he reportedly said its none of his business. OBJ would never allow that to happen under his watch, OBJ would have taken him out before his powers and popularity and influence grew. DSS embarassed him during magu's confirmation yet no heads rolled. How can an agent of the executive be embarrasing the same executive? Much as I beleive PDP are a bunch of imbeciles, thugs, rogues ,uncouth and vile creatures and that while both parties are not saints, the worst of the worst tend to be with PDP. But Buhari has to take responsibility for not taking control of his govt. His govt has been largely inept. he cant keep blaming somebody or the other for the failings of govt, he is the president, this is his watch. We voted for a decisve man that we knew in 1983, this is not that Buhari.
I have no sympathies for the PDP but APC loyalists need to stop passing the buck I have to admit that Buhari is dull in certain areas, perhaps he thinks everyone in APC tows his line of thinking, and that is why people like Amaechi and Tinubu are frustrated with him, had he listened to this men from the onset we wouldn't have had this dramas playing out. In any case he still has my vote and support, I expect you to vote for him too as he would sort out this issues for all conscientious Nigerians and for posterity. |

He must think that everyone is so gullible.
They claimed APC members were entering NASS to commence impeachment while there was actually no APC senator anywhere around NASS this morning.
Remix tinubu was in rccg Akpabio was in akwa ibom All others were not there and only PDP senators were there.
He just orchestrated this to heat up the polity just ad you rightly observed. He will now use it as am opportunity to make will presentations to the international community.
He is clearly power drunk and wouldn't see his end coming when it arrives. I wish Nigerians would understand what is happening, that Saraki and co truncated almost every idea this administration came up with to give Nigeria the best. |

Only those close enough to the president like Daura could have access to such Privileged information.
Today's brazen act solved all the puzzles. Buhari takes no nonsense and be you family or not you cannot pose a threat to the nation.
Daura will be debriefed and then the whole of Nigeria would realise just how diabolical saraki is I have been following your analysis regarding these issues, and I think you are on point, but a lot of people here are blinded by sentiments, so blind to realise that Saraki is heating up the polity to garner sympathy for himself, but his day will come. |

Flets: With South South, South East and North Central gone to anyone but Buhari, PDP only needs an average northerner to share the spoils with Buhari in the North East and North West and a SW VP to share the southwest votes.
There is no way Buhari will win 2019 elections. Either Tambuwal, kwankwaso or Atiku will kick Buhari out of office.
Buhari's supposed cult following in the North is a farce, it did not save him in 2003, 2007 and 2011 until N-PDP and Tinubu saved him in 2015. It's now much a tougher sale after exposing him for the bigot and closet terrorist he is.
Anyone with superior analysis should bring it forward.
Some tips: His 2015 NE & NW votes were intact cos he was up against a southern minority His 2015 NC votes was prior to his open affinity and protection for fulani terrorist in the middle belt His 2015 SW votes were driven by Tinubu and perceived fight against corruption; it's a different story now he has been exposed for the bigot and terrorist he is I think you are wrong. Truth be told, Buhari won the 2007, and 2011 general elections, you can verify as for 2019, it will be a very easy ride to victory........ And stop bringing in the South West. Just 3 of the six States there was APC. Your analogy is erroneous owing to your blind sentiments. |
