You keep exposing the depth of your ignorance with each post. Chinua Achebe has won multiple awards and "Things fall apart" is the most widely translated African novel . It was also included in Time Magazines' All-time 100 novels in English language.

Ko si Nobel, he was just another biter, bigoted, hateful and bitter ipob who went into his grave sad, angry and bitter.

We don't give a fck how you feel about Chinua Achebe, the father of modern African literature. The man was an icon, who is looked up to by hundreds of million across the globe and brought great pride to Africa and his people. What he said is no different from what former US secretary of state Henry Kissinger said about Igbos and Nigeria.
“the wandering Jews of West Africa-gifted, aggressive, westernized, at best envied and resented, but mostly despised by their neighbors in the federation”

I guess Henry Kissinger is chest-beating on our behalf. cool

Not a fan of any of them...... bt i think Jonathan is better in terms of compassion.
They lied to you because he's the most horrible and vindictive president ever.

Was he compassionate when he refused to accept the fact that the chibok girls were kidnapped and ultimately refused to rescue them till the world force him to accept that fact with BRING BACK OUR GIRLS.

Was he compassionate when he sent the military to attack news outlets, publications and destroy their properties including news items?

Was he compassionate when he used the military to crush innocent subsidy demonstrators in Lagos.?

Was he compassionate when young job seeking Nigerians died and refused to return the job application money he scammed fro them and refused to apologize or even punished the people involved?

Was he compassionate when he looked the other way while his cronies were looting the treasury or when he gave them cover by saying stealing is not corruption?

That's a horrible human being and there's nothing compassionate about him.

huhhuh

What does my comment have to do with development?

This is purely a social issue, if he doesn't like Igbo people, then he should support the Biafra movement, because Biafra means no Igbo's in Nigeria; do you understand?

Stop being a hypocrite, you spend all your time demeaning Igboland, but the moment Biafra is mentioned, you suddenly turn into a Nigerian patriot. You suffer from what's called Cognitive Dissonance...I say, make up your mind, either you are for or against.
Bagehot:

If you guys were so fantastic, why dont you replicate the same thing back home?
okoye

Support the Biafra movement, and you'll never have to deal with an Igbo person again. Don't you think that'll be most ideal? No point forcing a group of people, that obviously do not like other Nigerians (at least not anymore), to remain in the country.

I remember years ago, when the antagonism was one sided; people would make threads asking silly questions about Igbo people, and Igbo people would simply ignore them. Today, that's no longer the case, now you have Igbo people demeaning other Nigerians. It looks like Igbo folks are tired.
