LordAdam16:
A. Ethno-religious reasons. The bulk of his antagonists fell in this group. Over 60%.
B. Overblown issues with his administration.

Sanusi said $20b was stolen. He later reduced it to $10b. Later to $2-5b. Till date, and with an opposition government in place, they've not been able to trace the money.

The opposition claimed he was promulgating subsidy fraud. Yet, when in his wisdom he decided to remove it in 2012, they said over their dead bodies. Later when the same marketers held the nation to ransom for fear of not receiving payments, they quickly passed the blame to him.

Buhari is on record for saying they've got nothing on Diezani. Yet she was so villified. After over half a dozen independent audits since 2015, no one can say this is the exact amount Diezani stole.

The same people who decried the launch of the offensive against Boko Haram and establishing emergency rule in Northern states were the same people saying GEJ was lacking in will to fight the group.

The same people who lampooned all governmental efforts to negotiate the release of Chibok girls are the same people celebrating the release today.

He said stealing was not corruption. Illiterates took that as a smoking gun to mean his endorsement of corruption. Yet the ICPC chief, officer in charge one of the leading anti-corruption LEA, reiterated the same thing. It is on record.

For every Morro that was given a clean bill of health, there was a Stella Odua, Yakubu, and the invisible saint Maina that were deposed. And everyone seems to forget that the Immigration Recruitment Exercise was contracted out to a private firm. And that after the incident, GEJ ordered automatic employment for affected families. He also ordered immediate return of all the funds collected from the applicants. It is all on record.

For every Alams, there was an Ibori.

They said he gave the oil pipelines to criminals and they didn't suggest a viable alternative. NSCDC has had minimal effect on vandalism. And they say he courted criminals, yet Henry Okah is still in a SA jail, MEND is still a shadow of its former self, and he hunted and killed John Togo.

I could keep it flowing like I was writing a novel. The bottom line is that those who hated him in 2015 had already started hating him in 2011. Everything was fair to use against him, from unsubstantiated allegations to pure conjectures. And it became a mortal crime to say anything about his achievements. They were not noteworthy and nonexistent. He was simply a reincarnation of the DEVIL himself.

Yes, and the same people who supported him in 2011, in less than 9 months after he was sworn in (January 2012) decided to Occupy Nigeria because he removed fuel subsidy.

What sort of stup*d support is that?

Curiously, it was after Occupy Nigeria, that subsidy payments ballooned to 25-50% our budget annually.

The same people who claimed to have supported him in 2011 were blind to the improvements that were happening under him. They called it paper achievements. Today, they are clamoring for those same paper achievements.

Things like the containment of Ebola that seemed so easy under the man were all dismissed because they claimed they wanted a Singapore.

A person who voted for GEJ in 2011 and voted for Buhari in 2015 is worse than someone who voted Buhari in 2011 and voted for Buhari in 2015. The former has a damaged cerebrum. The latter doesn't have one.

An example of someone who supported GEJ in 2011 and didn't in 2015 is Ameachi. Yet in 2015, it is on record that Ameachi confessed to not knowing that trains operated in Nigeria. It is on record.

This is the meaning of incompetence:

"not having or showing the necessary skills to do something successfully."

That cannot be said of GEJ. GEJ was not incompetent. You could argue that he didn't do enough, but anyone with a shroud of decency and objectivity can actually point to reasons why.

Nigeria's budget in each of GEJ's 5 years was N4 trillion. We used an average of N1.2 trillion for subsidy. He used N1.8 trillion plus for ONLY salaries. He was left to use N1 trillion for the fight against Boko Haram (using dispirited troops, a defense hierarchy inundated with saboteurs, and a ravaged region that didn't support the war); infrastructure; boost the economy; pay other recurrent overheads, such as funding the universities, hospitals, research institutes and the likes; as well as other expenditures too numerous to mention.

Yet he was able to build more universities, expand the transmission and generating electrical capacity, rehabilitate tens of thousands of kilometers of road, revitalize the rail sector, rapidly increase our food sufficiency capability thanks to the agricultural revolutions, grow our economy by an average of 6% and reduce inflation rate; amongst several other achievements.

Anyone who says GEJ is incompetent is M*D! Very M*D!

Jonathan borrowed but at least new roads, universities, almajiri schools, rail lines, airports were built and upgraded. What has Buhari done with all this borrow borrowhuh
[/s]

Jona must have built the new roads under your village bed.

This is even talking about borrow borrow.

FG Has Borrowed A Total Of N2.57 Trillion Under President Jonathan

Under President Goodluck Jonathan, the Federal Government has borrowed a total of N2.57tn. Thus, the Federal Government’s debt profile rose from N4.18tn as of June 30, 2010 to N6.75tn as of June 30, 2012.

https://www.naija.ng/16198.html
Jona started borrowing on his first day in office/2010 and in less than 2 years, he borrowed over N2.57tn by 2012 and he borrowed till his last day in office.

He borrowed to pay workers salary until May 2015.

He almost emptied foreign reserves, ECA and still nothing to show for the largest oil earnings in the history of Nigeria and even with the $20 billion power fund they looted, they gave us darkness in return

The old rail rubbish he saddled us with was done with huge loans and borrow borrow from China.

Where are the wonderful hospitals and healthcare system

In their warped and polluted minds, the same GEJ and 16 years of PDP that created the problem by refusing to build new refineries and repair the refineries are our best option and we should bring them back into office.

These are nothing but evil wishers with bad intentions, they care less about Nigeria to start with..
Politics › Re: Wole Soyinka speaks on Blame Passing and actions of Socia Media Automated Mumus by deomelo: 11:08pm On Dec 30, 2017
1. The PDP ruled Nigeria for 16 years and many of the people in the PDP ruled Nigeria before under NPN, but let's talk about just the PDP.

For 16 years, they did not build 1 single refinery and they did everything in their power to make sure that our 4 refineries stay shut down even after budgeting billion every year to repair them when oil was selling for over $100/barell.

2. The loud mouths shouting in this thread were the same PDP foot soldiers and their best option for us is to go back to the PDP as if we did not witness countless fuel shortages under PDP on top of subsidy scams from here to the moon.

3. Sadly for the same loudmouths and losers, they want the current admin to clean up their 16-year-old mess in less than 3 years

Thank god for Nigerians, fuel shortages is coming to an end with so many refineries coming online starting with Dangote refinery in 2019.

Things are looking up for Nigeria.

God Bless Nigeria.

Hehe. When these fools can't challenge you with logic they resort to name calling.

This idiot has never heard of Public Private Partnership before. The Catholic Church funded the school. That is why it is called Saint Augustine. The decision to hand it over to the government was to make it a public school which any child can attend regardless of religious or economic background.

Your broke and lazy governor would NEVER have been able to afford spending 94 million naira to build just ONE secondary school, when he is owing 15 months salary to workers.

Don't carry your olodo behaviour into the new year.

Look here dum asxx ipob illiterate.

The school is called St. Augustine's Government Elementary School, Ipetumodu, in Ife North Local Government for a reason, with a strong emphasis on government, not private or government/private.

And if you are going to spew ignorant nonsense, common sense dictates that you show proof that says, the government built the school with private money or partnership with private entities.

Where are the Catholic bishops or reps at the commissioning since according to ignorant, illiterate, bitter, hateful and disgruntled ipob losers, the Catholic church paid for the schools?

The workers are ineffecient and don't deserve their full pay to me, but Aregbe took it too far by leaving IGR to suffer. What becomes of his beautiful schools without zealous teachers? I remember during Bisi Akande's time it was hard to pay workers but the teachers had zeal and we the student then didn't suffer much because of that awareness that the money isn't available. I remember Bisi Akande saying Agric. Science isn't appropriate for classroom and saying we should do more practicals. He practically transferred the burden of paucity of funds to the students (mostly boarder from Ibadan, lagos, ogbomoso) Fine building won't do the trick for education.
Osun State recorded a 10% increase in her Internally Generated Revenue, IGR in 2016, a report by the Nigeria Bureau of Statistics, NBS has revealed.

Osun with a population of just above 4m, generated the sum of N8.07bn in 2015, but recorded an improved figure of N8.88bn in 2016 representing a 10% growth in a space of one year.

https://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/05/osun-records-increased-igr-in-2016-as-lagos-emerge-top-earner-again/
NBS = Osun state recorded 10% IGR increase, representing a 10% growth in a space of one year.

Desyner = According to Desyner, a layman and ignorant troll on NL, Osun state's IGR is suffering.

Osun state witnessed 10% growth in less than 1 year, but according to you and your backward and warped ignorant understanding, rapidly increasing IGR and a 10% growth in less than a year = Suffering?

The fact that you hate Aregbesola doesn't mean you can substitute facts, progress, and development in Osun with ignorant, baseless and unfounded tales.

Infrastructure projects boost IGR simply because massive construction creates jobs, it gives people paychecks from painters to bricklayers, plumbers, electricians, vendors, lawyers, accountants, architects, road, bridge and construction engineers and so on, this also boost people's spending power.

The school feeding program alone feeds thousands of kids every school day with produce and meats supplied by thousands of farmers in Osun state which again create jobs and IGR.

The food vendors buying, cooking and serving the farm produce means more jobs and IGR and more money in the economy, these are some of the reasons why IGR is expanding in Osun state.

Your problem is obviously hating and anger against one man and not the real facts and even the massive IGR growth in Osun state.

The aouthority on IGR in Nigeria is NBS, not Desyner, a hate peddling, anhry, bitter abd ignorant ipob loser on NL.
