Keep publicizing it while his ego keeps growing and watch him do nothing in his second tenure but steal your state’s money while pampering the godfathers who put him there.

I see other countries, U.S, U.K, Canada, e.t.c countries in the developed world, having governors but I don’t see their governors’ actions littered all over their news. But I’m sure they must be working else the people would have voted to have that position scrapped entirely.

But in your country Nigeria, if a governor coughs, he is praised to the highest heavens with photo ops and paparazzi all over the place and we won’t breath online because his photos would be scattered all over the internet chanting his praises for performing what was supposed to be is “duties and responsibilities” as governor.

No wonder your politicians see themselves as gods and people should lie down on the floor for them to walk on.

Some group of foreigners came through our bothers and then started killing our people and then boom federal government decided to reward killers of men, women, children and babies with our own land.
Who the hell is even advising the federal government?

The first thing they should do is to arrest those killers and make sure they are disarmed and made to face to full weight of the law and from there we can subject them to buy land from willing sellers and set up their ranch. But till date none of the Fulani terrorist has been made to face the law,the arrested ones have been freed by the police without trial and here you are advocating that we should give them land. This is about Lagos state, not your village.

Your village mill has just 3 meager silos, the one in Lagos is blessed with 16 silos and it shuns out 32 tons of milled rice per hour while the one in your village mill measly 120,000 metric tonnes per a whole year.

The Lagos rice mill will process what your village mill process in a year in less than 3 days.

Why are you trying desperately to help politicians in their lie?
Livestock Transformation Development Plan is not same as RUGA.
Livestock Transformation Development Plan is mostly about ranching and all the things you listed above but Fulani doesn't want ranching. They want grazing by all means and that is why they want the idea of a large expanse of land where they will graze and then coupled with other benefits of LTDP. Isnt that funny and fishy at the same time?
LTDP s what Osibanjo approved and Buhari and his brothers stole in the RUGA idea from the back to confuse people.
That is why the VP vehemently denied that he is the one in charge of RUGA when they implied so. Do you think he didn't know there were differences before he denied it?

Whatever term you give it today, most non slavish southern and middle Beltan states will no longer take it because they know it will ultimately be a plan to resettle Fulani from both Nigeria and West Africa throughout Nigeria.
That is a huge no. It is not like you are resettling people with no agenda however a people that is already killing you when you havent given them your land.
Imagine what happens when you map out a portion of your land for them.
No amount of painting or coloration will sell the idea now.
People have seen where the whole thing is going.

It is actually the same thing, ranching just sounds better to you, but it's the same thing.

Press Releases Fashola, Agric Minister Commission 20,000 Metric Tonnes Imota Rice Mill …Governor charges Youths to take up challenge to work on state government farms May 15, 2012 - Lagos State Governor Mr Babatunde Fashola (SAN) in company of the Minister of State for Agriculture, Mallam Bukar Tijani on Tuesday handed over the 20,000 metric tonnes Imota Rice Processing factory, with the Governor charging youths to roll up their sleeves to work on the farms being created by the Government. Governor Fashola who spoke at the processing factory in Imota before he embarked upon a guided inspection of the rice factory said the time of miscreancy by some youths in Lagos State is over. "The time for wealth without work is over. You must all understand that no nation prospers if it seeks wealth without work. Sanwo-Olu: Imota Rice Mill to employ 26,800 Lagosians, targets 2.8m bags of 50kg bags of rice per annum

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Thursday defied the downpour to inspect the Rice Mill and Industrial Park project being developed by the state government at Imota in Ikorodu Division of the state.

The inspection tour of the project site, Gov. Sanwo-Olu said, is in fulfillment of his promise to continue all unfinished projects initiated by previous administrations. The Governor was joined on the inspection by his Deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, and Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola
.

Sanwo-Olu said the visit was to assess the progress of the project and also to get the contractor’s confidence on the completion date.

Describing the project as “capital intensive and strategic”, the Governor said the rice mill would be the biggest in the country when completed. The project, he said, is being built with a capacity to produce 32 metric tons of rice per hour and 2.8 million bags of 50kg bags of rice per annum.

He said: “The tour of the project site is another pointer to our pledge of continuity in governance. We are taking the pain to come down to Imota to assess the magnitude of the rice mill and industrial park project initiated by my predecessors. This is a 32-metric tons per hour rice mill, which is the biggest in the country. In terms of national importance, the rice mill is expected to meet 15 to 20 per cent of national demand for rice.”

After touring the project site, the Governor expressed satisfaction on the level of work done by the contractor, but said a lot of work still needed to be done. He assured that the contractor would be kept on site to ensure timely completion.

The Governor said: “By the end of this year, we should see the first phase of the project completed. It is not for us to just have the biggest rice mill, but to also begin a conversation with rice producers in rural areas to have massive cultivation and production through the mill.

“The mill is being built with a capacity to store up to 36 months of hundreds of thousands of rice bags. We have studied the entire value chain and we are speaking to other stakeholders to ensure this project, when completed, can galvanise people towards the objective of President Muhammadu Buhari, which is developing local capacity towards boosting agriculture and feeding the nation from local produce.”

When completed, the mill and industrial park are projected to generate over 1,500 direct jobs, while 254,000 indirect jobs were also expected to be created in the value chain.

The light industrial park on the project site, Sanwo-Olu said, is being built by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to boost small and medium scale businesses around the axis. The Governor said the park would have amenities that would make businesses to thrive and bring returns on investment to business owners.

Managing Director of CIBA Construction Company Limited – the contractor handling the project – Mr Josiah Samuel assured the Governor of the firm’s commitment to the agreed completion date, disclosing that the firm was re-mobilised back on 12 months ago.

Samuel said: “As at today, the Industrial Park is in over 60 per cent completion stage. But, the rice mill is being put together. There are different components of the rice mill. We are done with entire piling work; we have had to sink 700 piles on the site. The substructure of the mill is completed

“There are 16 silos to be constructed on the rice mill site, but the substructures of the six of the silos have been completed. We expect that before the end of 2019, this facility should be up and running.”

The contractor said weather was the main challenge it was facing in the construction work, promising that the firm would keep to completion date.

The twin project is being jointly built by the Ministries of Agriculture, and Commerce and Industry. The rice mill sits on 8.5 hectres out of the 26 Hectres developed for the entire project. The construction works are supervised by the Ministry of Works.

If the law can't subdue their excesses now what makes you think it will after they get land?

The land is not going to be solely for Fulani headers and the program is a broad and comprehensive plan that goes beyond herdsmen, it's going to be a confined and controlled space with other investors and businesses and if crimes are committed, you know where to go and who to arrest, unlike the current situation where they are mobile and move from state to state and town to town.

Do poultry farmer operate in settlements before govt taxes them? If no, why must herdsmen be in settlements? It is a ploy at consolidating the lawlessness of a tribe over others.

Poultry farmers are situated permanently in the business locations, they don't move around the country with their chickens, the government knows where to go to collect taxes from poultry farmers, but where do you go to tax herders? You don't know and you can not stop them on the side of the road with to tax them so the only solution is to confine and tax them as a business.

Let Buhari uphold the laws currently in place and deal with killer herdsmen appropriately.
He himself is a herdsman and we know it.

The president's livestock is confined to his farm.

This is another proprietary product for KFC Nigeria, a restaurant trading under the trademark of Yum! Restaurant International (YRI).

https://tunsinter.com/wordpress/index.php/farms-products-thigh-fillet-breast-strip

Another piece of knowledge.

KFC is an international brand in Nigeria, but do you know where they get their main raw material (Chicken) from? Osun state.

Why Osun state? Because Osun state under Aregbesola not only turned Osun state into a major poultry state but also a state with top quality products that a multi-National like KFC can rely on to supple quality product day after day.

Tuns farms in Osun is one of the largest poultry farms in Nigeria.

the first solution to all these is to subject these herdsmen to the law. They can't be grazing for free. They should pay tax to the respective states they graze their cattle.

Is this not the reason why the government introduced NLTP/RUGA.

RUGA/NLTP = Controlled, centralized, monitored and organized animal husbandry business for interested livestock farmers and investors, not just headers.

It means no more herdsmen running around the country, no more destroying farms and no more clashes with farmers.

We slaughter and consume tens of thousands of cattle per day, that's billions per day that the headers and owners are not sharing with the rest of Nigeria especially where they graze, but NLTP/RUGA means they have to share in form of taxes and be regulated.

This program is more than the ill-informed and paranoid noise people are passing around on the internet, it's turning to graze into a regulated livestock business as they have in other countries, we are talking about full-scale grazing to abattoir services, meat and meat product processing, packaging, tannery and so on.

Apart from we have the usual shortsighted, paranoid and tribalistic mentality portion of Nigeria that rejects credible ideas and programs, a large segment of the Nigerian population are ignorant and instead of seeking knowledge to learn and educate themselves about issues, they consume rumors and fake trash other people pass around on the internet or beer parlor.

In the SW alone, they consume almost 20,000 cattle per day, but is the state getting a cut of the daily multi billion naira cattle trade? I don't think so.

It's either they set up their own ranch as a business and for food security measure or offer land and let other entities invest and manage the ranches.
