Abducted Oyo farmer, Wole Agboola has been killed by kidnappers after collecting a ransom of N2m from his family, IgbereTV reports.

Six armed men dressed in military camouflage abducted the University of Ibadan graduate on his piggery/fish farm located at Nagbede village via Aba-odo in Oyo on Monday, December 28, 2020.

The decomposing remains of Agboola were recovered from the bush in Aba-Odo on Monday, January 11, by the police a few miles from where he was abducted.

A brother to the deceased, Olakunle Agboola, also a journalist, who confirmed the development, said his brother was killed and his body found 10 days after the ransom was paid by the family.

"My brother, Wole Agboola was killed after a huge ransom was paid and we later found his body inside the bush near Aba Odo yesterday (Monday) at 6pm just a bit close to where he was abducted.” said Olakunle.

Meanwhile, friends of the deceased have taken to Facebook to mourn him.

Pastor of the church where the deceased worshipped, Reverend Boladale Ige suspected he might have been killed shortly after he was kidnapped.

Hello nairalanders, I know how you felt looking at my post before opening this, but pls know one thing am not a bad person or a foolish son, I just happen to have a *** mom..

The thing is me and my mum almost got into a fight yesterday. Now pls let me explain something to you... I understand how yall love your mother's and would do anything for her, I wish I could say the same for mine.

Anytime my parents get into a quarell my mother won't want to talk or do anything again. She goes to work and comes back late, lies down and sleeps.

It's over 5 months, she doesn't contribute anything, doesn't say anything, does not concern whether the children eat or not because of their quarrel..

I don't fight anyone but if I have a quarrel with my friends or bro, 2 days or the next sef we are talking. He will stay in the room by herself after work while we'll be in the palour eating, She will be in the room sulking.

I once came home and my junior ones told me they were talking about something and laughing and mom came out and said sheybi they are all laughing and very soon they will start crying. Like what kind of mother says that.

If you are looking for woman that curse and swear no one pass my mom.
She has fought every of our neighbors, every last one of them. I can't count how many swear and cursed she has said to my father and even to we the children. My father's brothers and sisters, she has been keeping malice with themsince a month after her wedding. That's over 20 years ago. Something happend and she hates them. If you are seen with your aunt or uncle you'd be in serious trouble.

She has this toxic nature/character always wishing evil for others. If she doesn't like you and she sees you happy it's sadness for her... How can someone be like this.

Today one woman she has quarrelled with had a fight with her brother. My mother was happy, saying e don catch am, laughing and praising God. My father is sick and doesn't even have the strength. They don't talk, she stopped talking to me cause she says me and my dad are always planning what we will eat, that am now the wife abi.

I can't express how hateful I am towards this woman, my heart is full of bitterness towards her.. I can't possibly type everything that I personally go through because it would seem as if I came here just to spite my mother. No matter what, she is still my mother, I am just looking for advice.

I give the children money sometimes when they are angry and I cook the food cause she doesn't do anything. She's sees me as her enemy when you don't want to do it, we should come and be begging you. Everytime we get into a fight for very petty things I always go and beg her, you must beg else you and her are enemies she won't talk to you.. I greet her and she says next time I greet her she will swear for me. This negativity is too much, I am a very Sane person, I won't come and write all this if I ain't pained... I have a father I love and my siblings, but it's this woman now.

Pls what can I do, everyday everytime person go dey beg you for the most unreasonable and petty things, after swear and curses with bad words Don follow steadily.

I've been with this guy for close to four years now and its not really been a perfect relationship. Lots of ups and downs due to what I can term insecurity. At some point we're cool and the next minute issues arises just like every other relationship.

He's a good guy to some extent as he showers me with love ( my thoughts)and a lot of times he gives gifts not money though. I've had to give financial assistance to him alot of times, he returns some if he deemed it necessary and doesn't return if he so wishes. I've never complained about this and still always willing to help him out whenever he is in need. Pls note that we're both financially ok.

This gesture of me offering him financial help stopped when I realise he doesn't do same to me. I've had to test him on serval occasions that I needed financial help and he has never for once helped out on those request despite knowing he has. I never needed the money though, I made those request to know if I could actually fall back to him if I'm in need.

Last year October, I told him about my plans of getting a new car as I got tired of the one I was using. Pls note that I did not request him to buy for me neither did I ask for any support whatsoever. I contacted my source in the US with my budget and spec, was able to find one in a short time and I paid for it. All of this moves were known to him. By December, the car arrived and cleared accordingly with every expenses incurred payed by me. He gave some moral support though.

A week after getting the car, he called me one morning and started apologising for not supporting financially in getting the car which I told him I had no issues with that. I told him I wasn't expecting more than moral support from him since I could afford getting the car on my own. I also made him realise he doesn't owe me no apology as I wasn't t his responsibility since we weren't married and that even if we were married, ill always want to get my stuffs myself as long as I can afford it. The next I heard was him ranting on phone that he doesn't expect less from me, said I'm a proud and that he knew I wasn't going to be a good wife. He said he has always known I wasn't going to be a submissive wife and a whole lot of other derogatory words despite not having issues whatsoever prior to that time. I ended the call as I was so surprised he could say those mean words to me.

All through that day he didn't call back and I did not as well cos I was expecting him to realise I was hurt by his actions. A week pass and still no call from him so I decided to call him and he didn't pick. I'd sent a lot of of messages to him and has not replied to any. I'd gone to his house to check up on him and not met him too. Its been three weeks now and we haven't spoken and seen despite all of my effort to talk to him and or see.

Guys please I'm confused and do not know how to handle the issue. Pls advice.

Gunmen have killed a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) councillorship candidate in the March 6 council poll in Oghara, Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State, Mr Elliot Ofa.

IgbereTV gathered that the gunmen abducted Ofa and two other people along the Jesse/Oben road, near the boundary between Delta and Edo State on Monday, January 11.

According to reports, the three were returning from the Office of the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission, DSIEC, in Asaba, the state capital when the gunmen ambushed them, shot and killed Ofa.

The deceased was the immediate past Supervisory Councillor on Environment of Ethiope-West Local Government Council.

Spokesperson of the Delta State Police Command, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, who confirmed the incident said it happened within Edo State and not Delta.

How come I only hear Nigeria students rant about "school being a scam". I'm active on a lot of foreign forums and I've never heard anything like that before from their students. Sure, they do complain about their 'financial system's , but never about school being a 'scam'.

So sometime this afternoon I heard the cry of a chick through my window and the cry was non-stop, I decide to go out and check cos we don't have any new born chick at home, I discovered a carton and in it was this little chicken, immediately I asked wat it was doing in the compound was told my younger brother found it all alone by our fence and he decided to take it in.

Not use to that I told him to quickly return the chick back from where he took it from and he did, now 5mins' later I heard the cry again this tym I was angry cus I tot my younger bro didn't do as I said, so I called on him " didn't I tell u to return the chick back to where u took it from" but I did was his response,... then why am I still hearing it.

We went out to check and there the chick was in the compound roaming about, this tym I took it out myself just to b sure came back inside and closed the gate. Hadn't even settled down in my room to relax wen I heard the chick again 'ah ah wetin come b dis wan now' were my thought went out again and there it was......

To cut the story short I decided to keep it, funny thing now is the chick has bin following me up and down since, if I pick it up it stops crying and if I drop it it start to cry back(you know those sounds they make wen dey don't see their Moda) sometimes I'll drop my hand and it will walk straight into my palm cool and calm. It literally slept in my palm today and looking at it all cute I didn't want to drop it.

So I have decided to keep the chick, it's a native fowl tho. Thinking of a name to give it, can't really say if it's a male or female. Anyways I'll keep u guys posted.

Yes, She won't have time for me. She doesn't have time for herself either . But trust me she always takes out her precious nap and food time, just to talk to me .

I visit her workplace she wouldn't have time to say hi also I have to sleep three nights in different hotels to be able to see her. I got angry one day and ask her, how will she take care of my kids when we marry.

When she is with me, I never want that moment to end. Our romantic life has had to suffer a lot of time because of duty calls. I have to get myself busier so I don't get emotional. she is honest and blunt, doesn’t beat around the bush. Sometimes I have to win her with a strong argument and points.

She is independent and can make life-death decisions, so I don’t feel bad if she doesn’t consult me and make some decisions highhandedly. I trust her, she good decision-maker the majority of times. For us, It’s accountability and responsibility that counts. I won't settle for less and she won't either. No room for excuses or self-pity.

She has to be nice to her patients and fellow male colleagues. I don’t mistake this for flirting. Her male colleagues are there with her than I am, so I am more comfortable and carefree because I trusted her. we do know our boundaries. Most of the time she will be discussing how much she misses me with them. I have the self-confidence that helps me though sometimes I get a bit jealous.

She is Superwoman without the cap all the time. So I have to decide whether to expect even more from her or be Super Man myself and share her burden a bit more.. understand her a bit more..love her a bit more.

As a doctor, she is extremely sensitive but also blunt. She knows when I need a hug and when an earful. Most of the time, she sees me as a case, desperately trying to diagnose my actions, detect my mood, I have to explain every action, etc.

She is great, very polite, courteous, intelligent, and fun and I love her effortlessly. The hard part is living with the job, the workload, the schedule, she never off duty, even when she is off duty, no time for long conversations. I already know I am committed to her and I must be committed to her job too. I need to be supportive of her, emotionally mature and have a life of my own. It has been a long ride but our relationship is thrilling. Will I choose another if given an opportunity? Only if I stop been me.

Learn from me, if you can't compromise in some area never date a high valued woman. With slay mamas wannabe, You have no issue, all you need is your time and money and you are the boss.
