It's high tym Africa leaders started to respect democracy n its rules of law. Most of these leaders have turned the position they found themselves as their birth place. It is tym we the youth stand up for our right and fight for it. We are leaders of tomorrow; this is a statement we pretend to understand but absolutely we understand it not. We prefer to maintain the status quo, and this is eating deeply into our future. We have presidents of 20 years on this continent. so whr is the future for the youth? A question we should keep asking ourselves till we find an answer. |

I have a father which is of this type. He has been very choosy and always want to dictate how I live my life from education, career, faith, relationship in short evry facet of my life. These have make me resentful towards him evry tym I see him. He makes me look foolish and stupid as if I dont knw how to take charge of ma live. If not for the fear of God and following His commandment, probably I would done something stupid but their [b] blessings [/] matters alot. It all started wen I finished my JSS graduatin to SSS and to choose which path to follow in my career. I wanted to go for commercial class but he was tellin me I had to go for science. With his coersion I did first term of my SS in science. Wen it was second term I decided to change, not that I cud nt cope. I had good grades, one of the best in the science class, however, dats nt wat I wanted in life. Wen he heard dat I defected to commercial class he beat the hell out of me. That wasnt painful , the most painful is dat he wanted me to study medicine to be a doctor just because one of my female cousin, agemate, choosed science class and wanted to be a doctor. Comes to faith, though we are both Muslims but the extent to which u bliv in something differ. There are sometin u c ur fellow bliver doin which u knw is nt part of the doctrine or takin tins too extreme. It pissed u off. He ll always want u to join in it which is against wat u bliv. There are many other issues lyk dat tym and space wont allow me to type. I bliv in dis wise sayin 'Your destiny is in ur hand'. But I think I ll fully take charge of my life wen am no more unda his roof. |

By Noel Lawrence, an eHow Contributing Writer Caution: your cell phone may be spying on you. Before the cellular age, phone taps were fairly easy to detect. Faint yet audible clicks on your receiver were a dead giveaway that someone was listening in to your conversation. Today, however, there is no definitive way to detect, or prevent, government agencies from spying on your calls. On cellular networks, all conversations may be accessed and recorded by the phone company if law enforcement or a federal agency supplies a proper warrant. Or a criminal organization may be able to hack their way into your smart phone. Fortunately, several measures will minimize the risk of electronic eavesdropping. Difficulty: Moderate Things You'll Need: Pay-as-you-go SIM card Professional mobile phone repairman Instructions 1. Search your mobile phone for physical bugs. A tiny recording device placed inside your cell will pick up all of your conversations, whether you are speaking on the phone or even if it is turned off. Take your phone to a cellular repair shop and have a professional dismantle it to locate potential bugs. Do not attempt to do this yourself. You may have trouble with reassembling the device or may even break it. 2. Keep your cell phone turned off when not in use. Besides recording conversations, your phone may also be used as a way of pinpointing your geographic location through a technique known as "triangulation." By using your cell carrier's network, a government agency can use your phone as a virtual GPS device and track all of your movements. However, do not assume that turning off your phone will prevent audio surveillance. In a recent investigation of the Genovese crime family in New York City, the U.S. Justice Department was able to remotely activate the microphone of a Nextel cell phone and record conversations even when the phone appeared to be switched off. 3. Change your SIM card on a regular basis. The Subscriber Identity Module or SIM is a removable card that contains a unique code for identifying the subscriber of a mobile phone. If potential eavesdroppers don't know your SIM, they won't have any idea which cellular account to tap. Pay-as-you-go SIM cards cost as little as $10 and can be replaced as often as needed. These cards will not associate your phone with a specific name and address, making it even harder for spies to keep up with you. 4. Consider alternative methods of communication. For example, Skype uses a Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) that is difficult to monitor (assuming you are using it from someone else's computer so your IP address can't be identified). Or nothing beats a face-to- face conversation, assuming you have already inspected the meeting place for bugs. |
By Katie Leigh, an eHow Contributing Writer Even a forgotten code can be cracked. Briefcases with rolling combination locks can be tricky. If you've lost or forgotten the combination to your briefcase, the contents aren't lost forever. Cracking the code on these locks is a relatively simple process that requires only a bit of patience. This technique does not damage the briefcase, so it's a great alternative to attempting to pry open the lock with a tool. Difficulty: Easy Instructions 1. Pull the sliding side latch to the side, as you would if you were opening the briefcase normally. Holding the latch in position, lightly roll your fingers down over each numbered wheel to identify which one is the tightest. The tightest wheel will give the least when you gently tug on it with your fingertip. 2. Set the tightest wheel to "0." Check the tightness of the other two wheels; if they still feel loose, click the zeroed lock to "1" and feel the other two wheels again. Keep going in this fashion until one of the other two wheels feels tight. When one of the other wheels becomes tight, the first wheel is set at the correct number. 3. Move on to the second tightened wheel, continuing to hold the side latch in place. Set it at "0" and check the final loose wheel. Keep adjusting the second wheel, as you did with the first, until the third wheel feels tight. 4. Set the final wheel at "0" and adjust it until the briefcase's top latches pop open. Make sure the sliding side latch is still being held in place. 5. Reset the combination to numbers you'll remember in the future. Write them down and store them in a safe place, just in case. Tips & Warnings Never use this method for illegal purposes. These instructions are meant only to help people access their own property, not someone else's.
