I didn't use an agent, I applied myself. The application portal has still not been updated. Yet to get a decision

When an application is closed, then a decision has been made on that application.

Check with your agent or login to your application portal to check the full status of your application.

Am in the same shoes at the moment. I had my biometric Jan 17, 2024. I had a Bvl mail on July 5th 2024 followed by a mail requesting for updated POF which I supplied the following business day on July 8. I checked my tracker yesterday and discovered that my tracker has been updated on September 27 and application is now showing closed. I have checked my portal as at this moment no final decision yet. I don't really know what is causing this delay. From the tracker it is now the mail they sent me for updated POF is reflecting on the tracker as July 5 mail.

If he applied with your email you should be able to get the necessary update concerning your application via email. But I still feel you should contact your agent or visit him in person to open your portal for you . As for me I applied since January 2024, I only got ADR in July requesting for updated POF which I have submitted since July but since then am still yet to hear anything from them. Canada will teach you patience if you don't have that aspect as a virtue.

This is not good at all . You need to find a way to reach him to get the details of the mesage

Just be patient then. He will definitely give you the details of what is requested from you

Just be a bit patient. Try and appeal to him to send you the message sent from IRCC to know the documents requested from you . If appealing to him doesn't work try and pay him a visit because most of the documents requested are time bound
and if IRCC doesn't get those documents by the specific time, decisions will be made based on the available documents available to them. So be fast about this your agent

That is sufficient enough. Just go along with a copy of your biometric letter, copy of your international passport, copy of your appointment confirmation letter. That is all you need.

After submitting my visitor Visa application, I got notified for biometric at vfs and booked online for next Monday.
Is that sufficient for biometrics or I should be expecting another call from vfs ?
I am traveliing from Akure so I need to be sure I am not missing anything out.

Applied January this year, but still yet to get an update from IRCC .

I got a BVL mail on the 5th of this month, which was followed up with another update on my IRCC account requesting for an updated POF which I submitted three days after the mail. From then till now am still yet to get any further update from them.

There is no business that is not profitable, it all boils down to the location.
Engine oil business is a profitable business only in the long run. If you don't have any other areas where you can be getting financial support in helping yourself it will be very difficult to break even cos of the profit margin. That is the area location matters, because if you are getting lot of customers who patronize it will be far better than been in a location where you cant even make up to 2000 profit a day .
