When funds are wrongly transferred to a wrong account, the best step to take is to visit the closest branch of your bank, and lodge a ''written'' complain at the customer service section and make sure there is a follow up of the complaint immediately. The bank on their part won't be able to initiate a reversal of the said fund immediately, cos the bank themselves already has two customers interest to protect, yours and the said customer who receive the funds. Why the bank takes this decision is because if they reverse immediately the said customer can sue the bank, that the fund reversed was actually his from a business transaction which the said customer can defend with proof. So to create a safe landing, if the fund is still in the account or the said fund has already been withdrawn, the bank will place an immediate lieu of the said amount on the account, pending the outcome of the investigation. If after thorough investigation , the ball falls on your court, you will get a reversal in no distant time.

That is just mercy after death, except you have more money to lost in employing the services of a lawyer that nothing positive will come out from such case. The bank has already indemnify themselves already against such loss due to the negligence of your friend by releasing his personal card details to an anonymous person claiming to be a staff of first bank. Normally there might be a case of staff involvement in the issue, but that does not make first bank as an entity liable. The only thing the bank can do for you at this point is to investigate the issue.

But you can get a cheap guest house for 3500- 4000 at ugbogbo guesthouse,eweka street, off mmway, after igbinedion education centre just by the sharp bend after the school. From what I can deduce from your interview,
I can candidly tell you that the odds was not on your side today, tomorrow might be your lucky day. One thing about the us visa is that it is 95% luck and 5% ties to me. As for the aspect of you going with your family, I don't think that would have changed anything. All my visit to the us for the us in the past decade I have never applied with my family,though I was denied the first time. So just give it some time and apply again maybe next year. Better luck next time and pray very well.

You are good to go. Your passport won't show on the confirmation page. It can only show if you want to print your completed ds 160 form in case you want to have it for future reference purpose.Best of luck in your upcoming interview.

My people I really don't know what is wrong oo I uploaded my passport successfully in the form but is still not showing on my confirmation page what do u think could be wrong? I don't want to use any fucking agent so I want to do it my self I have fill the Ds160 form countless of time and the picture will upload successful but wouldn't displace on the confirmation page anyone with concrete idea

went as thus:

me: Vacation and sight seeing
VO: Do you have anybody in the US
me: No
VO: Are you married
me: yes
VO: are you travelling with anybody

me: i am an engineer working for the state government as head of ....
VO: (Cuts in ) Have you travelled out of the country before
me: Yes
VO: (typing all the while, then stoped typing) To where
me: Ghana
VO: for what?
me: burial of a colleague

VO: (she handed me the blue copy) sorry blah blah

i was surprised by her verdict. the interviw ended within 2mins.
I am a senior officer working with the state govt for 7 years, married with kids.
i will want the gurus in the forum to analyze this and what might cause the denial.

From your denial, what I can deduce is that the problem might be coming from the conference in question. By the way what is the name of this conference, and who are those organising and attending this conference? Is it a publicized conferenced in the area that if I key it into the system on google search, the conference should pop up in the first page of google search, cos anything short of that, sometimes the vo might think the conference is not important. If all this things are OK, you can apply again as soon as possible. Best of luck next time.

I was given a blue paper at the Embassy today, I just still can't figure why. I was interviewed by a young black chick... My transcript thus:

Scheduled to make a Paper Presentation n represent my company.

ME: told her

VO: she said she doesn't what that is about
ME: I started explaining

VO: she asked for the invitation letter

She inserted d blue paper in my passport n said it will explain further my denial.

The facts were stated in my ds 160 n my mission is real, sponsored by my company.
My Questions are should I reapply? If yes, can I get an appointment date before October 18th?

I agree with cosade, apply with your baby. But on another note December is very cold in the state, will your baby be able to adapt to the cold? But on a lighter note I will advice you to apply alone since you are applying for the first time, so that your wife and baby can serve as an additional strong ties for you. Cos the odd will be more in your favour travelling alone than applying with your wife and 2 years old baby to avoid the 214b rejection note. Best of luck in your application.

Looking at the purpose of the trip, in my own opinion the odds is going to be against you. The vo might end up approving only your mum visa.
But the vo has the final decision to make .But I will advice you to apply alone when you have sufficient ties to your home country in terms of a good job, marriage, travel history.[/b][b]

Kudos for the great work here. Am a silent reader of this thread for the past few months and I must say I came across this thread at the right time cos I was about getting an agent but stopped and read this page from page 0.
I plan to go on vacation with my wife by december . I have travelled to dubai on business and tourist visa for like 7 times in the past before getting married in 2015. I stopped importation business in Dubai and establish a nursery and primary school in 2015 as well. Since I got married av been in Nigeria. We have a daughter that will be 2 yrs old by December but won't include her in our vacation plan. We av never applied for USA visa before. My wife works in a reputable bank for the past 3yrs with good income as well and we are both sponsoring the vacation.. Considering all these, i just want to know if am on the right route by leaving our 2yr old baby out of our plans. Based on what have read so far the VO's may see it in anoda way. And also i need someone on this forum i can always call or chat with when filling the forms for prompt response and assistance. Thanks

In my own candid opinion, try and apply again as from 6 months time, cos if you reapply again soonest, it will only show an act of desperation by the next vo interviewing you. When applying next time, try and apply alone first. Am sure you will get it this time around. Best of luck next time.
