No body is saying Iran can defeat the US but if this war drags on I am sorry Trump will have to swallow his pride and call for negotiations to continue. The objective was to carryout a swift decapitation strike and allow Iranians to flood the street and overtake institutions but this is not happening. I think killing of Khamenei is a big miscalculation that will create more defiance.

Monday when the markets starts taking hits then the impact of the war will be felt by all even U.S gulf allies would put pressure on Trump to stop the war. Killing Khamenei does not amount to regime change.

Honestly I love that decimation cause he was the one who hindered Iran from getting nuclear weapons and his death will make Iranians more defiant cause it is like a dagger to their heart. That said, nobody was under any illusion that the USA cannot take out Khameini especially if he decides to stay at his residence rather than a bunker. We're waiting for the regime change and the destruction of all Iranian ballistic missiles.

But why would Khamenei stay at his residence even the.commanders that were killed it showed they were not in their bunker. Why would Iran allowed itself to be deceived with this negotiation again.
