Alamkiir: One thing I noticed in the conflict between Iran and Israel is that Iran still lacks air superiority over its territory. I agree that their missiles are among the best; I’ve seen what they can do, and they are comparable to Russia’s missiles. However, Iran still needs to equip itself with advanced fighter jets, such as the Su-57 or F-35. Turkey, for example, has capable fighter jets, which is one reason it is respected. If Iran had such jets, they would likely be engaging Israel in Iraqi airspace rather than over Iran, similar to the air battles between India and Pakistan. I believe fighter jets still have a role in modern warfare. Yes fighter Jets still have a role in modern warfare. As a result of the sanctions Iran does not have the money to purchase those fighter jets from Russia. The sanctions itself is not all about the nuclear program but about making Iran less powerful. Thank God Iran has invested in missiles and drones for decades else Israel would have run Iran over. |

seunny4lif: Israel has officially requested that the United States join its ongoing operation against Iran, particularly targeting underground nuclear facilities such as the Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant (FFEP), which the Israeli Air Force does not have the means to effectively strike without “bunker busters” like the GBU-57A/B MOP (Massive Ordnance Penetrator). So Netanyahu does not even have bunker busters yet he started this war. Anyway the plan was to start it and let America finish the job but he will be disappointed this time. I trust Trump not to risk his presidency for his madness. Americans are watching and won't allow any of their leaders plunge them into another war. Sorry Netanyahu you miscalculated enjoy your stay in Greece while your country burns from effect of hypersonic missiles |

Israel wasn't expecting this crushing response from Iran. The thought was that America would come to their aid if things spiralled out of control but now Donald Trump is even facing his own battle at home as Americans have begun to protest over his military parade. Any wrong move by America to enter this war will lead to massive protest that will shut down America. Americans are tired of military adventurism. I trust Trump not to risk his presidency for Netanyahu's madness even though Trump was complicit in this madness. |

He couldn't even bring full strength down on the Houthis and he thinks he can fight Iran that is capable of burning all his bases in the Middle East. Even continental US. is within range. Just because they didn't test it doesn't mean they don't have it Exactly. I believe Iran has untested ICBM. Iran is prepared for all possible scenarios. This is what the country has been preparing for decades ago. |

He needs to do it now fast, best time is now not tomorrow. Imagine Nigeria doesn’t even have underground bunkers to save us in case of war. Unbelievable
I believe they are in the process of doing that cause that's the only way to stop this unprovoked dastardly attack in the future. Iran will surely get nukes. That's the way to go. |

They thought Obama was crazy when he negotiated with the Iranians they also thought Biden was too senile and inept when he decided not to stir the hornet nest by confronting Iran. Trump and the hawks in his administration can now see the reason. Meanwhile Iran will continue to match Israel escalation for escalation. |

basilico: What Iran is doing is basically a war crime. When Elon Musk's rocket lands on the drone boat it has a CEP of 1~5 metres. When it lands on the mechazilla we are talking a CEP of~ 1 metres. Ballistic missiles land anywhere between 500m - 2000 m. At least those mass produced ones , I would put NK and Iran the same radius. Advanced ones like the Minuteman III or Sarmat are claimed to have a CEP of ~100 metres or less.
Iran is aiming over 2000 kg warheads to Israel knowing it will land anywhere over at least a 1000m diameter. In other words they are deliberately targeting civilians. Like they have done through their proxies Hesbolla and Hamas. When it comes to Hamas they hide in civilian areas, shooting at troops or rockets. They hide rockets in hospital mosques, kindergartens , etc. IDF sends evacuation notices, dud bombs and are required to make sure Gazans get food and medicine in the process. In Tehran IDF was shooting missiles through bedroom window of say apartment 22 and not touching the next apartment 23 in a 18 story building. Or rather IDF risked pilots in Iran to score a precise hit Eeya..What did Israel do by deliberately targeting Iranian consulate in Syria last year that killed embassy officials and military attachees. What are they doing to the Palestinians since 1948? Iran is carrying out a retaliatory strikes of what Israel started by killing civilians and military leaders in Iran and you call it war crime? What a shame. |

basilico: The only reason they want nuclear technology is the bomb. Their neighbors will also rush to get bombs. With the bomb Iran can sponsor Houthis to blow up Aramco facilities or threaten to close Strait of Hormuz . Wait they already did that.
Iran has Quds day. Every Friday they chant Death to America Death to Israel. The leader who believes Israel is a cancer that should be uprooted
They don't mean what they say is the rest of the world excusing them. What if Israel didn't have Air Defences. It would have been wiped off by Hamas rockets, Hesbolla & Houthi Missiles and rockets. And now this. You don't excuse them because what they say don't make sense to you. (I politely asked you to dare me.) This your analysis is laughable. If Iran wanted to have bomb years back it would have had it. The reason Iran keep increasing uranium recently is to put more pressure on America to lift sanctions and to have strong hand in the negotiating table. Is Israel not a cancer? Just look at all the atrocities your Israel has committed in the region. Genocide, assassinations., striking Iran's consulate in Syria unprovoked and then it goes on and on. Every sane person who has a working brain should always chant death to America and Israel. Look at the history of America's brutal unjust wars and regime change world over. Iran has had its own share of regime change from America. I don't need to remind you how CIA and MI6 removed Iran's democratically elected leader in a 1953 coup. |

basilico: Iran has enough oil for its electricity and energy needs for centuries. Why they need to enrich uranium. They should disable the centrifuges, Russia is the world's largest supplier of nuclear fuel to almost every country with nuclear reactors, they will give them in exchange of their drones. Russia supplies 20% America with nuclear fuel ,despite all those sanctions. Israel should disable its own centrifuges too and disarm. A nuclear weapon free middle east is in the best interest of every country in the ME. Every nation has the right to have nuclear centrifuges for civilian use and Iran has said it is not seeking nuclear weapons. A deal was in place and the IAEA stated emphatically that Iran was keeping to its own bargain but Israel still had to dictate to America to scuttle the deal. They scuttled the deal yet still want Iran to continue keeping it's own part of the bargain. You and I know America does not want any country in the region to have military superiority over Israel that's just it. Israel too should disarm. Iran even said we could enrich up to 3% for civilian use and we will be subject to strict inspection but US refused. |
