sir i am also holding unto my analysis.
what happened in maybaker MUST surely happen in Transcorp.
oga currentprice.......Transcorp will make one very rich soon.
This is one of the few stocks that will defies NUMBERS simply because its a growth stock.
Just position yourself as well irrespective of the NUMBERS.
Most of the volume traded in Transcorp today was done at N1.32.
I kept seeing Buyers wall @ N1.31 ( I was enclosed too.... grin) and Sellers wall @N1.33.
Meanwhile, someone kept pushing in blocks of 500K at N1.32 and another guy kept picking the units at that same N1.32.

In those days when I heard INTERNATIONAL and ENERGY put together, I thought I was into Oil and Gas Insurance. When RECONSTRUCTION came, I was super excited until both INTERNATIONAL and ENERGY vanished into oblivion. I have been hawking International Energy Insurance for years now, no one is even asking, 'oga how much grin grin grin'

Even if it is GTB that is reconstructing today, I will first of all take cover, do a tactical manoeuvre, then reappear and clean my glasses, visit my doctors to test my eyesight and sanity, before taking any decision. I have no plans to upgrade my BP drugs now. Those who have had to sell off bad stocks at a heavy LOSS and still experience ridiculous brokers charges know what I am talking about. Few things are as painful. just talking to myself kiss smiley cheesy grin
On NSE, RECONSTRUCTION = GUARANTEED DESTRUCTION..... grin

@Samguru shocked shocked shocked

Are these fresh revelations or you knew all these about the company when you were targeting N4? I assumed the reconstruction news was the only problem the 'Numbers' crew had against this stock.

Na wa o cheesy
There has never been A SINGLE reconstruction on NSE without the eventual HOSPITALIZATION of 'THE NUMBERS'. Last year, I could NEVER touch FIDELITY coz I was NEVER COMFORTABLE with its OS and was thinking julius Berger could be contracted any moment... grin

I can authoritatively tell you that Chevron won't pay you 250m rentage for your property of N1B except it's going to be theirs after the 5 years. cheesy My brother if it was that easy to make money, we will be seeing N1000 bills on the ground every now and then.
Looks to me like the money will be used to service long standing debt that has been bugging the company and then fresh debt raised for the future. No be small thing.

Reminds me of Japaul (Jegede, God is watching you o). The company paid dividends for a few years, gave bonus and then came for a Public Offer. They wanted to increase their fleet to take advantage of the Cabotage Act. He also mentioned earning in dollars then. Chai see ego cheesy They purchased Tug boats and all. The rest is history.

My point is, don't make assumptions that can be too costly. I see you have done a lot of work in researching the pros of this investment. You should put in double effort to unearth the risk. Thereafter you can go for it with all that you have got, if convinced. I want to assume you have done this sha.

The company appears to be growing but doesn't look stable to me. Anyway, we all take risk. Yeah, the stocks in our different portfolios represent that. All the best bro.
Nigerian companies cook figures before offers, then proceed on OFFERS and the unsuspecting public give them what they CAN NEVER make in 10Yrs.
They spend the next ten years spending the offered loot after preparing a 10yr loss report in advance, from the time the offer was ongoing... grin
JAPAUL, DAAR etc etc.... grin

@ DeRuggedProf,

Can you kindly sell your Transcorp shares? I want to see if you are the one responsible for it's stagnation (Not that am saying you have caught Sir Peter's bugs).

brov hope you know my fairprice is my own opinion. and it should not form the basis of buying/selling of any stock. MERISTEM analyst can tell you their fairprice of Dangote flour is N7.50 and FO fairprice is N90 it is their own opinion . identify the strategy that work for you and you will have rest of mind on your investment grin

i hav being eyeing FO since last year but my calculation grin shows a very low fairprice as at the time it was selling close to N150 grin. FO move from N39 to N48 few days ago to what look like bottom out and someone call my attention to it that i said it will get to certain price,.. i still held on to my guide fairprice since no new information to review price. FO closed at N40 yesterday grin so find your guide and leave noise for Mkt paticipant grin

for request, following are my opinion on fairprice for those stock base on latest report ; cheesy

dangote sugar N22, dangote flour N25, zenith N40 and uba N16

grin grin grin grin
The Magic Key!
There was a time BullBearMkt posted on Dangflour pointing out it has to retrace its lousy steps back to between N8.5-N8.7.
At that time, the stock had just swallowed an overdose of a banned substance and was deaf, it headed north.
BBM refused to buy a single unit of it despite ALL the noise and even threw a little caution to us here.
Last week, it kissed those figures with 'abeg you' join.... grin

You toooooooo hate the stock.
Remember people have made money from the stock severally this year(from 1.00 to 1.20) and the cycle continues.
Remember people have received dividend this year and still expecting another next year.
Remember that people are viewing you here as small god so dont allow fcmb to bring you down because of the unknown.
Remember that no body has seen the result and nobody knows if there is great surprises this time.
FCMB and NATURAL NUMBERS are SWORN ENEMIES... grin
Is your new found philosophy of NUMBERS about just ANY numbers?
Even imaginary numbers reserved for abstract maths?.... grin
Remembers FCMB gave us a harmful lecture on highly complex numbers earlier this year.
