Did they reverse the numbers? If not, then you can shove the apology up in the place where the sun does not see, while waving your broom. Numbers are numbers and they have no sentiments. |
authority2006:Defunct/Redundant positions should not be protected simply because they are people's jobs. If anything, the reversal of the NNSA layoffs (minus 28 workers) within 24 hours confirms their priorities. It is sincere, even if not 100% perfect. I get it if you're anti-Trump but we're not about to have a discussion over the importance of retaining waste where it is produced. The layoff terms provides for future payments, as it should. |
Flamemignon1:As expected. Even a blind fool knows New York Times is left leaning. No one expects anything different from them or CNN just as anyone who favours Trump's ideas will rather follow Fox News. It ain't rocket science, really. |
Flamemignon1:I get notifications on them. So far, they're great initiatives. Thanks! |
Why are people angry that Elon is cutting down government waste? He has always been against government waste. Why should a Nigerian be happy, seeing the contributions of USAID to destabilising the country so far? If the profit loss was strictly competition from other brands, then it's welcome because it will make him fix up his prices to compete. EV, just like Solar, is the future. Space Travel is the future. Robotics is the future. Seamless travels is the future. Fast Satellite Internet is the future. Elon has his hands in all of these pies. If Tesla EVs are taking a hit, others are not as well. Nigeria, for example, is seeing more investment in Starlink Internet. We saw on video, criminal elements defacing other people's cars, criminal elements vandalizing Tesla shops, and someone with decency is happy about that? Despite the billions they're saving the country, thereby generating revenue for other important schemes? That's just blue wall fighting back. Nah. I refuse to be part of this as a Nigerian. We've seen government waste money with careless abandon and we certainly need a DOGE to sweep through our books. We saw 10 billion naira earmarked for Solar installation. That is enough to assemble 10mW of uninterrupted power storage alone, absolutely all expenses covered. Is that a power substation or just for Aso Rock? Because Aso Rock cannot consume more than 500kW in an hour, so what's all that budget for 200 times more for? Armageddon? |
Never thought this day would come A new Nairaland is possible! ❤️ |
kmaster007:You're not saying anything. The boy Is a 17-year old boy who was framed and abducted by street urchins on his way back from work because he refused to share the largesse he received, illegally incacerated for days and had his age manipulated to have him transferred to Kirikiri where he was subjected to cleaning out the excreta of adults because he can't pay his way out. These are the facts and which is why his lawyer will be suing the Nigerian Police Force. I don't know which gossip you have under your sleeves but if none of it undermines his testimony, then stay calm like the police have been so far. You are not a party to the impending suit but if you believe your information, albeit irrelevant, can help their case, please, take it to them. |
Like I said, we don't bother with your lies anymore. Took approximately 12 seconds to burst your bullshit claim after pasting your information on Grok. It is clear there has been no updated payments for Q1 2025, and we're in April already. There's an increase in both domestic and foreign debts from 2023 when the administration came onboard. If you want to share propaganda, at least, update DMO/NBS first. They are the only consistent data source for Nigeria debt as far as Nigeria is concerned.

helinues:You don't mean it? 🤣 Wow! I love this denial. Are you saying the video is edited? Or The event never happened? Let me know which to burst first. |
VnAhunnaPl:Which one? You're the only person to have commented so far 🤷♂️ Or are you already dismissing future posts yet unseen, in advance?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1lPf61DxWQ This video shows Tinubu's promise to oversee the provision of 24-Hour electricity by any means possible, during a business event. He said if he fails to, he should not be voted into power come 2027. The video began making rounds as a budget of ₦10 billion was earmarked for providing solar power for Aso Rock, after the administration oversaw the cost of petrol, the widely used fuel for alternative power source for Nigerians, rise to as much as four figures in some parts of Nigeria, the highest cost surge for petrol ever recorded. Also, the cost of electricity soared to its highest ever, as many citizens pay as high as ₦209.50 per kWh. With the average household requiring 20 Kwh per day, monthly cost of electricity can be put at ₦125,700, almost twice the minimum wage. It appears Nigerians have been left to their fates as Aso Villa looks to abandon the high fuel cost and electricity cost/unreliability for solar power.

Omo.. This man money long o. What a life of charity. |
DrAda:Another from that section just did. Perhaps you can rest now. |
Réquiem æternam dona papa, Dómine 🙏 Et lux perpétua lúceat ei. Requiéscat in pace, Amen. |
DrAda:First, look at the section it came from. Not everything is infested with Politics Section filth! |
Magnumproperty:Nope, your Whatsapp group misinformed you. The doctors were angry that Peter Obi was supporting private establishments as well as public health facilities to ensure the state is self sufficient healthwise but the doctors wanted Peter Obi to use that support to implement CONMESS wages for them, which would destabilize state finances. The myopic public practice doctors went on strike in protest of Peter Obi's reforms. It resulted in private hospitals and medical centres rising up to the health needs of the masses. Thankfully, they already had a solid base in the state before the fiasco, giving Peter Obi enough time to consolidate the reforms, and set up the public health sector for prosperity. The rising up of private practices, combined with the reformed public healthcare, both contributed to his eventual winning of the Bill Gates and Melinda Foundation award, based on the performance of the state in eradicating polio. So much for Anambra running to Ondo eh? 😁😁 In addition, the N120 million cash gift from the foundation was matched with another N180 million from the government and both were put into the building of ten more health centres in the state. That's the beauty of evidence based counter. Next? |
DrAda:You don't like finding things yourself? I literally provided a link to the original post from 8 hours ago. |
KennethOkonkwo:Grok always busting your asses 😌😌. Major takeaways about your Whatsapp Group picture according to Grok analysis: 1. Political Motivation: The article's likely purpose is political, aiming to undermine Peter Obi during his governorship. 2. Tactic of Discreditation: Sensational headlines to discredit rivals were a common strategy in Nigerian politics, suggesting the article may be a smear campaign by opponents. 3. Lack of Credibility: Scroll Nigeria is not a major, reputable outlet, and the article's tone indicates it may be political propaganda rather than a fact-based report.

I received with profound sorrow the news of the passing of the Holy Father, Pope Francis. His death marks the end of another era in the spiritual and moral leadership of the Catholic Church and the wider world.

People in troubled areas, your life is sacrosanct and self-defence is 100% permitted by even the Nigerian Constitution. You should do what is best for the sanctity of your life because some people speak from the comfort of 100 security men including Nigerian Army. Nigerian Police, SSS/DSS and the likes, telling you not to exercise your full rights as guranteed both globally and in Nigeria. Article 2 of the UDHR provides that everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person. |
Wike should sit this one out and put his creatures on a leash 😭😭 He can't recover from Falana's uppercut. He said Wike is a Lifebencher that has never filed any case. 😭😭😭 |
Oh My God! Falana don pull shirt 😭😭 |
inoki247:Are you confirming that the root cause of this issue is Police Brutality? Please kindly clarify with a Yes or No, and let's move on to the educative part of this exchange. Thanks in advance. |
kmaster007:He just told you in the video. He did nothing. The only person that can say something different is the Police. But the Police did not say anything different. Did you not read the Police statement? Empty and incoherent nonsense. Here is an analysis of all the facts before us as presented by the Nigerian Police Force spokesman, and the family through their lawyer. |
inoki247:You must have missed it so I will ask again. "What is the root cause of Quadri's ordeal? Was it not politics?" Even Kemi Badenoch when she told the NPF story, was attacked in this same manner by psycophants of a certain political party, up to the extent of buying back what the NPF officials stole from them. The same psycophants are attacking Quadri, but yeah, it's not about politics. Waste of words, really. |
Esthered:I hope so too. Thankfully, he has been relocated from Amukoko. That's a great start. ClearFlair:Normal. See his second there asking questions that were answered in the first few seconds of the video. I don't understand their pain. Angry over the release of a 17-year old boy, just as they were against Dele Farotimi because they chose to look the other way. |
inoki247:Okay. What is the root cause of this matter? Was it not politics? Quadri, a teenager who isn't yet of voting age, was living his own obscure life until he innocently stood in front of Peter Obi's vehicle. Omo..except one migrates their entire family from Nigeria, and probably gains another citizenship, there is no escaping these bloodsuckers. It's just to double down and dismantle this criminal contraption, so their psycophants can find something productive to do with their lives. |
FreeStuffsNG:How will it add up, Mr Ostrich. Did you hear that from the video? Quadri literally gave a timeline of events, so if you didn't understand the lawyer's polished English, did you also not understand Quadri's broken English? FreeStuffsNG:Once again, in the video, it was clearly stated that the DPP recommended that the case should be dismissed and he be freed because there was no evidence to substantiate the allegation of armed robbery against Quadri. Which case is still in court? |
This is the fate of the average Nigerian. Politicians play games with their citizens, then smile off with security votes and unexecuted projects. |
