Nope. It isn't a crime since you're unlikely to be prosecuted for it. However, it can be considered an academic offence by a school or lecturer, and those may have their own ways of attending to such matters. That is on the student, not those offering such services.

PoliticsNigeria To Learn Power Generation From Egypt – Minister by DesChyko(op): 12:37pm On Mar 24, 2025
The Federal Government says it will learn power generation and transmission from Egypt which it described as a role model in the sector.

The government also has reaffirmed its commitment to rural development through improved electricity access,

The Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, disclosed this during a recent meeting in Abuja with the Egyptian Ambassador to Nigeria, Mohammed Fouad.

A statement by Adelabu’s spokesperson, Bolaji Tunji, said on Sunday that the meeting centered on strengthening bilateral cooperation in energy expansion, with a focus on renewable energy and rural electrification.

Adelabu commended Egypt’s achievements in the energy sector, describing the country as a role model in energy infrastructure development.

He expressed Nigeria’s interest in learning from Egypt’s experience in energy generation, transmission, and distribution, adding that the success in Egypt led to the engagements with Siemens with a view towards stabilising Nigeria’s power sector.

“Egypt has made remarkable strides in energy transformation, and we are eager to collaborate and learn from your expertise. Our goal is to ensure reliable, stable, and affordable energy access for all Nigerians,” he added.

Adelabu highlighted Nigeria’s efforts to connect remote rural areas to power through renewable energy initiatives, citing the economic challenges of extending the national grid to these regions.

“Many rural areas cannot be connected to the grid due to economic constraints, but we cannot neglect them. Through our renewable energy programme, we are bridging this gap. We have secured significant investments, including $750m from the World Bank’s DARES project and an additional $190m from the Japan International Cooperation Agency to support this initiative,” Adelabu stated.

He emphasised Nigeria’s abundant renewable energy resources, including solar, wind, and hydroelectric potential, expressing the government’s determination to harness these resources for sustainable energy access.

Speaking, Fouad expressed Egypt’s enthusiasm for collaborating with Nigeria, particularly in closing the metering gap and sharing best practices in energy access.

He emphasised the shared goals and mutual benefits of strengthening bilateral ties between the two nations.

“Nigeria and Egypt have much in common, and there is immense potential for collaboration in the energy sector. We are committed to working together to achieve sustainable energy solutions for both countries,” Fouad said.

If the violence continues, the State of Emergency will only be extended as there is now further proof of violence in the state. In summary, the winners are in Abuja. The losers remain the mandate of the people of Rivers.

Quick thought: How is it that a pipeline explosion so devastating that it triggered a State of Emergency, was so quickly repaired and operations resumed under 3 days? Even experts in the oil industry were stunned.

The more you look, the less you see.
PoliticsAnother Explosion Rocks Gas Facility In Rivers State - Vanguard by DesChyko(op): 6:22pm On Mar 23, 2025
Barely a week after a major explosion occurred on the Trans Niger Pipeline in Bodo, Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State, another explosion has reportedly struck the Soku oil facility in Akuku Toru Local Government Area.

The Youths and Environmental Advocacy Centre (YEAC-Nigeria), a grassroots NGO with strong networks across the Niger Delta, confirmed the latest explosion on Sunday.

In a statement signed by its Executive Director, Dr. Fyneface Dumnamene Fyneface, YEAC said it received reports from its youth volunteers about an early morning explosion at the Soku oil facility operated by Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) Limited.

According to the statement: “An explosion accompanied by fireballs was heard and seen in the sky from the facility area, which is difficult to reach. The fire is still ongoing as of the time of this report.”

The cause of the explosion remains uncertain, with speculations ranging from: Equipment failure, Sabotage, Deliberate attack.

This marks the third explosion at oil facilities in Rivers State in less than a week. The first occurred in Ogoni, while the second was in Oga/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area, an incident referenced by President Bola Tinubu in his March 18 nationwide broadcast while declaring a six-month state of emergency in Rivers State.

Following these incidents, the President suspended: The Rivers State House of Assembly, Deputy Governor and Governor Siminalayi Fubara, citing his alleged failure to protect oil infrastructure

The decision followed threats by some youths in a viral video warning against Governor Fubara’s impeachment.

YEAC-Nigeria has called for an urgent investigation into the Soku explosion. The group urged the National Oil Spill Detection and Response Agency (NOSDRA) to conduct a Joint Investigation Visit (JIV) to determine the cause.

“Perpetrators of this crime must be held accountable in line with the provisions of the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA), 2021,” the statement concluded.

PoliticsDays After Declaring Support For Peter Obi, Bala Mohammed Comes Under EFCC Probe by DesChyko(op): 11:04am On Mar 21, 2025
Barely a week after Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed expressed willingness to work with Peter Obi, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has launched an investigation into an alleged ₦70 billion fraud linked to his administration.

The anti-graft agency recently arrested the state’s Accountant General, Alhaji Sirajo Mohammed Jaja, and two others in connection with the alleged money laundering and diversion of public funds.

The investigation has raised eyebrows, given its timing in relation to Mohammed’s political stance.

The governor had, on March 13, 2025, held a private meeting with Obi, where he described the him as a statesman and the face of opposition politics in Nigeria.

Mohammed openly declared his readiness to work with Obi to strengthen the opposition ahead of the 2027 elections. Just days later, the EFCC moved against his administration, investigating cash withdrawals totaling ₦59 billion allegedly made through various government accounts.

The timing of the investigation, coming almost immediately after Mohammed’s alignment with Obi, has fueled speculations that his support for the Labour Party leader may have triggered the renewed scrutiny.

However, this development has intensified debates about the independence of Nigeria’s anti-corruption agencies and their role in shaping the country’s political landscape.

With the 2027 elections approaching, the probe against Bala Mohammed could either be a legitimate anti-corruption move or a strategic crackdown on political opponents.

There were Senators and Representatives from the PDP, Labour Party, and NNPP. None of them walked out. None of these opposition Legislators complained that the process of securing a two-thirds majority was not transparent, free and fair. None of them challenged the result of the voice vote. So, if you think the National Assembly got it wrong, then you should name the Senators and Representatives whose voices were not heard.

How does AI perform deliveries?
AI can take orders both in person and for drive-tnroughs if they offer that service, and some vending machines too can do the cash work. They may decide to outsource their delivery service, instead of managing one in-house.

Inventory/stocks can be effectively managed with minimal human assistance as well. I think drone deliveries, cleaners and automatic cooking devices may be cutting it too far but not out of it altogether.
PoliticsRe: The Rivers Assembly Has Not Received Their Salaries For One Year And Seven Month by DesChyko: 4:20am On Mar 20, 2025
Fubara was only following the constitution. Defected HOA members have lost their seat. That Wike and his boys are playing hanky-panky with the constitution does not invalidate what the constitution says about defected members. Here is a video of the defection, sourced from Nigerian media giants, Channels

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5uX-E3yxvs0

Here is what the constitution says about defection:
Section 68(1)
“(g) being a person whose election to the House was sponsored by a political party, he becomes a member of another political party before the expiration of the period for which that House was elected; Provided that his membership of the latter political party is not as a result of a division in the political party of which he was previously a member or of a merger of two or more political parties or factions by one of which he was previously sponsored;”

So when they are forcefully being reinstated in the PDP by the courts, after defecting to the APC of their own freewill, the actors behind that pronouncement is violating Section 40, which guarantees their freedom of association.

"Every person shall be entitled to assembly freely and associate with other persons, and in particular he may form or belong to any political party, trade union or any association for the protection of his interests.”

Those HOA members already lost their seats but let's pretend like the man up there who did not mention Wike's role as though the puppeteer didn't exist in all of these.
PoliticsRe: Moves To Recall Natasha: Kogi Residents Speak On How They Were Deceived by DesChyko: 4:18am On Mar 20, 2025
This should be easy to resolve then. If indeed the bulk of the people were deceived, the EYF, which is the only recognized youth forum there, should mobilize and go door to door, to capture those whose presence and signatures were obtained by false pretence and inducement.

A court of law should do justice to that (we hope).

1. Natasha tabled a report against Akpabio on sexual harassment. They fast-tracked the ethics sitting against her from March 11 to March 5, notified her on March 5, then suspended her on March 6. Senate rule book recommended only 14 days, they suspended her for 6 months. You supported.

2. Corper lamented against government ineptitude on the worsening economy. They came after her, quoting and bending rules to nail her. One of your people called for 'capital punishment'. You are still supporting.

Who are you really? 🤔
