Spy360:Are you talking to those who have disowned Buhari's policies after painting Nairaland frontpage with his every breath for 8 years back-to-back and defending even the most stupid of policies? Just leave these prostitutes abeg. |
So.. NNPC retail no longer exists right, as it was bought out by OVH. Now that OVH has rebranded to an entity that doesn't exist anymore, is that not a parasitic move by a private entity latching unto government purse? ![]() To think someone up there even sees this as a great news. Very weird. |
What do we call our dogs here in Nigeria? 😁😁😁 |
Malroux:Okay. And how does that affect your existence for real? |
madridguy:It is good that you can see that there is 'balance' in that audit, some parties will have their fund managers faint or fall sick, than present a record for their campaign funds. It is also good that the only time you have managed to hope for an audit is when it comes to Labour Party, not those ones that have been fooling about for donkey years.😎 A better Nigeria is a must. |
Subsidy is gone! Audio from Day 1. Expect anything and everything from this administration |
They have been sent to salvage the economy, I guess We should see the impact in the cost of living in the next few days. Everyone should bear with them. |
He was sheltering them before the fame. When Nons Miraj visited him for the first time at his batcher, they were 3 or 4 in there. Even when he moved into the new apartment for the first time, I counted about 6 on camera (5 males, 1 female). |
idahme:Says one Nigerian to another Nigerian. We all know what we are doing. |
daniwise:Yeah. This is the driving force of such questions. These days sef, we advertised and clearly state the locality which the recruitment is restricted to because transportation is nobody's mate. |
Someone asked me that too. I simply told him it depends on a lot of factors and isn't within my purview as a recruitment rep to disclose. I feel it's a bit awkward to prioritise salary before your ambitions of working at such a place in a corporate world. One even said 'let me know if I can risk coming'. Strange. Sharing a range before knowing the ability/value of a potential employee can attract ugly eggs and potentially keep away the valuable ones. You can peg a salary at an amount, but be willing to increase it for those whose value are worth it. You can also peg it at too high to get the great hands, and end up inflating job market needlessly. |
A viral video showed a man explaining all about inflation to a batch of factory workers. He made it plain that inflation arises from government overspending, describing high taxation, running deficits and high interest rates are all symptoms, not causes. He went on to list government actions which they carry out to fund their overspending as the causes of inflation. He described inflation as a simple way of transferring assets from the poor to the rich. In the end, he laid the solution at the government's feet, saying they need to save as much money as they spend. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uCjsOBMdzxY?si=CPOtX9-bBGMKhvSJ A popular Nigerian politician also attributed the country's inflation to the government's reckless spending and consistently highlighted the need to save, but he was dismissed as a warehouse economist. Truth cannot be tainted. It can be ignored, but never tainted. Reckless government spending needs to be curtailed, not defended. nlfpmod, Mynd44, Fergie001 |
Emergency Nigeria lovers are running out of energy. This is a news supposed to inject life into the country right? Why then are the so-called patriots not jubilating and dissecting the many ways it would be productive and position us for the next breakthrough? Simple! Because there is nothing to hold at in that news source. So, what to do instead? They're spacebooking, looking for the bitter and angry people who will be unhappy with the news. Those are more relevant to their paymasters job specifications than actually making sense.😕 |
Nice move. Now that daggers have been sheathed, let's actually focus on real issues. Can the FG explain to us why we can't have our own working refineries that have allocations every month? Who is benefitting from this gross corruption of maintaining a refinery that is not working. It is shocking that NNPC, a federal agency, would be so interested in coveting a private source instead of overseeing their own four sources and bringing it up to speed. |

PARADIZEPRIEST:Did Jesus push you to be like him? |
Lamasta:If only you took your English classes seriously 🤷🏾♂️ |
He didn't win it. It wasn't a competition. The verdict is clear. He is the highest goal scorer, as well as the player with the highest assists in the history of the competition. He is the UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE poster boy. |
Commentator talk reach 50 secs ontop video wey no pass 1 minute of content 🤔 |
The fundamental right to free speech is inextricably linked to the right to access information about government activities and decision-making. The alarming trend of government agents suppressing information unrelated to national security or interest underscores the urgent need for the Freedom of Information Bill. Citizens rely on journalists and the media to hold those in power accountable, particularly when governments err or overreach. Investigative journalists, who play a crucial role in uncovering truth, are protected by the laws that guard and protect freedom of expression in a democracy. It is therefore deeply disturbing and unacceptable that Nigerian investigative journalists have of late been subjected to harassment, abduction, detention, and other draconian measures by agents of the government. The disappearance and detention of @PIDOMNIGERIA, a journalist, is a grave concern. Nigerian authorities must be held accountable for his whereabouts and any alleged wrongdoing. If such actions continue, Nigeria risks degenerating into a Banana Republic where journalists are silenced or simply disappear for simply doing their job. This is not the Nigeria we want or deserve. We demand justice, accountability, and an end to these egregious attacks on press freedom. We seek an open society in which citizens express themselves freely, have access to unclassified information and in which government is fully accountable to the citizens. These are the minimum requirements of the new society we seek. -PO https://x.com/PeterObi/status/1828349781678174606?t=LYLrXX9NWZ2RBLjbllV6qA&s=19

Truer words have never been said. He's drowned those APC Ronu bigots in their many lies. |
Secrecy, secrecy and more secrecy. Fingers in all pies. Throwback:Noted. The picture of his WAEC graduating class is also in public domain. Now, Tinubu of which year of graduation? Picture? School? It's a shame you unwittingly set up your paymaster for drags 🥲 |
7upnigeria:Or you could just read newspapers yourself.
|
Deziwealth:CC: Seun. There's a song by Burna boy. It's titled Monsters You Made. Great jam. The person I quoted is from a family for sure. The Discipline in that family, I'm not so sure about. I think this topic is a great one. |
All these news. When I get home, I will ask my neighbour what the fees from Federal Govt College is. This government can be very disconnected from the reality on ground. 😔 Shebi that is how for months they denied they have anything to do with subsidy. Subject any of them to polygraph test, they will pass simply because it has been renamed 'shortfall' and pocketed 😒 |
Why is this man de-marketing Nigeria? |
EreluRoz:Corruption is personal. Trying to generalize or stereotype it is hiding from the truth (and probable solution) Call a thief, a thief. Not the person who managed to breathe the same oxygen with them. |
See all the reformations happening as a result of hyperinflation. This could have been avoided. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED. |
Good content brother. |
