Who approved the building? |
After spending trillions just to bypass the South-East to reach South South, what next?? ![]() You people are just using commonwealth for ego massage. If it didn't dey, it didn't dey. |
simpleseyi:You are right. What I admire most is the architecture of the hospital ward he is in. It's mind-blowing that it was intricately crafted in form of a car. Kudos to Julius Berger for such wonderful craftsmanship. |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SgfJXg8chLw A Nigerian took to social media to call out Wole Soyinka on his attack on the Labour Party Presidential Candidate for 2023, His Excellency Peter Obi. In a 4-minute video, Ife Salako, who identifies as an Obidient, with a view of showing the hypocrisy in the Professor's words, beamed the light on some of the 'physically aggressive' and 'criminally minded' supporters the octogenarian shares a support base with. He also touched on the life Wole Soyinka himself lived as a youth dissatisfied with the country, and the role played by cultism which he played a role in sowing the seeds in Nigeria. Ife went on to suggest that the Professor's age may have inspired such 'juvenile' approach to issues and admonished him to not ruin the country further.

Did anyone see where their expenditure was mentioned or are just going with subsidy and revenue? |

Well done, Chiamaka! Soar! |
Is it not the same Force PRO that didn't even know the Cybercrime Act had been updated but went around the internet, quoting it everywhere until he was schooled on the same internet? Square pegs in round holes. If shameless was a person. |
Bold words from a serving FCT Minister. |
Smelling propaganda. On one hand, we'd be calling the government insensitive. But how can one person with so many bot accounts be running image laundry for this same Minister under moderators' noses and no one is smart enough to sniff that out?? ![]() It's a play on our collective intelligence and I detest it. |
GENES11S:Those two sentences are contradictory. If it's an illusion, then your 'best' is an illusion as well. But that's fine, two truths can co-exist. 🙃
|
That's the end game isn't it? Holding the government to account. About 100 schools across the federation were posted across Southern Nigeria. Any school that gets a facelift due to being called out is a win for everyone involved. And any government that gets triggered because people demand accountability deserves more neck pressing 😁😁 |
bankyblue:There must have been. What are the odds that the building has none of the red cross sign telling them to stop building or something? Very slim, I tell you. |
helinues:Ultimately a useless endeavour. In life, there are no medals for second place. It either is, or it isn't. Energy cannot be created nor destroyed but transformed instead into another form. If you're fixated on counting your losses, you'd be blind to recognize it when it comes around as a win in another form. Shalom, and have a great day ahead, people! |
What is the basis for comparison? The method of cooking? Because those two are as different in composition and every other thing. |
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has listed at least 58 former governors involved in the misappropriation, embezzlement, or laundering of approximately N2.187 trillion over a period of 25 years. This amount does not include properties seized worldwide or those currently being investigated, which amount to billions of Naira. The amount of N2.2 trillion that was looted is similar to the combined budgets of Lagos State and the South-East states for 2024, totaling N2.25 trillion and N2.29 trillion respectively. This figure exceeds the budgets of the North-Central states and North-East states for 2024, which are N1.89 trillion and N1.60 trillion, by several billion. However, in the list released by EFCC, Peter Obi, who served as the former Anambra State Governor, was notably absent from the list of governors accused of embezzling public funds. Commenting on Peter Obi not being on the list, some Nigerians expressed their belief that he stands apart from other politicians, emphasizing his track record of fiscal responsibility and ethical leadership. One netizen remarked, “Peter Obi is different. He’s a man of his word, and his actions speak volumes about his dedication to serving the people.” The 58 ex-governors who are currently or have previously faced investigations by EFCC, with alleged amounts in question, consist of: Late Abubakar Audu (N10.966 bn), TA Orji and sons (N551 bn), Yahaya Bello (N80.2 bn), Chimaroke Nnamani (N5. 3 bn), Sullivan Chime (N450 million), Kayode Fayemi (N4bn), Ayo Fayose (N6.9 bn), Abdullahi Adamu (N15bn), Danjuma Goje (N5bn), Aliyu Wamakko (N15 bn), Sule Lamido (N1.35 bn), Joshua Dariye (N1. 16 bn), Timipre Sylva (N19.2 bn),Saminu Turaki (N36bn), Orji Uzor Kalu (N7. 6bn), Bello Matawalle (N70 bn), Lucky Igbinedion (N4. 5 bn),Musa Kwakwanso (N10bn), Peter Odili (N1000 bn), Jolly Nyame (N1.64 bn), James Ngilari (N167 m) Abdulaziz Yari (N84 bn),Godswill Akpabio (N100bn), Abdul fatah Ahmed (N9 bn), Ali Mode-Sheriff (N300bn), Ibrahim Dankwambo (N1. 3bn), Darius Ishaku (N39bn), Ramalan Yero (N700m), Achike Udenwa (N350m), Rochas Okorocha (N10. 8bn), James Ibori (N40 bn),DSP Alamieyeseigha (N2.655bn), Gabriel Suswam (N3. 111bn), Samuel Orton (N107bn),Murtala Nyako (N29bn), Rashid Ladoja (4.7bn), Christopher Alao-Akala (N11. 5 bn), Abdulkadir Kure (N600m), Babangida Aliyu (N4bn), Abubakar Audu (N10bn), Idris Wada (N500m), Ibrahim Shekarau (N950m), Adamu Aliero (N10bn), Usman Dakingari and wife (N5. 8bn), Attahiru Bafarawa N19. 6bn), Jonah Jang (N6. 3bn), Aliyu Doma (N8bn), Tanko Al’Makura (N4bn), Boni Haruna (N93bn), Bindow Jibrila (N62bn), Adamu Muazu (13bn), Isa Yuguda N212bn), Mohammed Abubakar (N8. 5bn). https://parallelfactsnews.com/efcc-reveals-govs-embezzled-trillion/ nlfpmod, mynd44, fergie001

Bloomfrancs03:This animation is crazy 😁😁 |
WriterrNg:I agree with ScarletBrace's assertion that you rely on gossips indeed. Imagine 'proudly' claiming the US isn't a top 10 choice travel nation. What kind of dumb claim is that? Even a novice to international travel won't be this naive. I'm not showing any Google results if your smartphone is allergic to fact finding. Keep basking in your gossip-inspired euphoria. |
WriterNig:What kind of hopeless lie is this? |
One of those unsustainable policies from the powers that be. I never used any of these banks anyways. Let's see how the brick and mortar banks key into this. |
Per day or per meal?? 🤣🤣 |
Sccarrr:If not that you're new to Nairaland, you should have known every post used for reporting gets hidden, just like the one you quoted. So how exactly would you know who I reported? Stop fishing for excuses to not do the needful. |
Sccarrr:I have done my bit. Do yours when you need to. Failure to call out evil because you do it too is why we are as ugly as we are at heart today. |
Any one who is against what Peter Obi said are likely corrupt people. The same Umahi refused to listen to the sense of reason and defended the construction of the Airport that is more in use by animals than humans now. Just days ago, an already existing East-West road saw lives and properties wasted in a fire due to lack of maintenance of that road. The Rivers State Government visited...then what? The road is still as is. Obi said insecurity and poverty are of a higher priority than the stupid road project, which is true. Are the sufferings of the masses not increasing day on day? Have people not been kidnapped 'easily' on existing roads? What will make this one different? Posterity will remember Obi for always being there to speak common sense to APC bunch of misfits. So far, every cosmetic measure he warned against has turned out to be true, most recently, the dollar-padding as a way to force its value down. |
Firstly, The minister said the demolition will go on despite claims of Landmark CEO, citing job loss and business deactivation while he stressed that the owner was making a lot of noise despite knowing that his structure was not affected. Then, Before the flag-off of the Landmark’s demolition, I graciously increased the period by another seven days and yet another four days, and here we are because the project stopped because of a lack of demolition.” Who be the thief and who be the owner?? |
This one nah Teslim Cybertrunk 😁😁 |
