Well, it's never easy. We're just hanging on, driven by passion for the job. The demand of increase in salaries is transferred to parents who are also crying as we are. The learners still look unto you to solve the challenges their families can't solve. It's a wild cycle out there. That's just it.

malali:Oga, Obi compared an evil deed to an evil deed. What else do they have in common that warranted such comparison? Both are evil deeds; one moreso than the other. How TF did you miss that?? I can't believe I had to spell that out. |
malali:To think you actually thought any of this conversation is about yahoo boys is what I find really funny. You should have watched the video from which that excerpt is from. So if you failed last term's examination and you failed this term examination, and a statement was made that 'You even did worse this term than last term', you will assume you're being praised/let off the hook for your previous performance (but not see the obvious that you are getting worse?) Smh. |
malali:Again, you didn't answer a direct question. Instead, you used an analogy, right after accusing Obi of using an analogy to deceive people. Let me repeat the question. "Who is the accuser whose credibility Obi is undermining and what matter Obi is diverting attention from?" Where that excerpt was made is on the internet. You may want to review that first before answering, so you don't veer off mark (again, I might add). Thanks in advance. |
malali:I admire your use of red colour and bold letters. However, state clearly, who is the accuser whose credibility Obi is undermining and what matter Obi is diverting attention from? |
Pristine664:Look at the one you posted before. See how you deleted it as well and was even defending it after folding. You are what you are.
|
Pristine664:You remind me of children. Me: Are you the one that injured him? Child: It's him that hit me first. Does that answer the question? Resorting to dragging people who are actually working to right the wrongs of this ill-fated country is the preserve of a drowning man bereft of confidence in their own standing. |
Pristine664:I guess your idea of talking with maturity is the wise man who turned a funeral service into an arena for politics banter. Or the one who mounted a podium in global stage to announce that a 24-year old subsidy is gone, only to return in less than a year. You hate the truth and everything that comes with it. You won't even accept any truth told bluntly. Your idea of maturity are bare-faced lies. Anything other than that won't cut it. |
malali:But you may be a bit slow to have missed the point. It is good that you've established that even the smaller crime (by your measurement) is unpardonable. What of the bigger one? Now you see why I said you might be quite slow. You made the insinuation, yet missed the point. |
adekolaelect:He didn't forget. You people just tried and failed everyday. You just got tired of seeing receipts and proofs of integrity. |
First, you said this drlateef:But CBN themselves on Wednesday sold the dollar for 1300+ to BDCs before profit. Then, you said this drlateef:Now, Look what we have here. Governance is not wishful thinking in WhatsApp Groups. Hope you are learning? |
Timmi:He actually said this a long time ago. You just weren't paying attention. |
beyondPen:No. I just think the primary job of a government is creating and enforcing the rules of a society, defense, foreign affairs, the economy, and public services. This menace is directly affecting all of these. Anyone who is looking for an easy way out of anything governance has no business being there in the first place. |
Jadeng:You get?? This is the worrying part. It's not anything strange or peculiar. Farming in one's backyard is almost as dangerous as travelling by road from one end of Nigeria to the other. |
Personnel of the Armed Forces, Department of State Services, Nigeria Police Force, and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps have killed 20 Indigenous People of Biafra’s fighters in the Orsu Local Government Area of Imo State. Also in the joint operation which was conducted on March 7, the security operatives destroyed 50 of their camps. Among the camps destroyed included the IPOB’s Supreme Headquarters, Command and Control Centre, and Military Council Headquarters. The operation is the second conducted in the same Local Government since the beginning of the month and the third in the state. On March 5, Personnel of the Nigerian Army and the Nigerian Navy killed five fighters IPOB fighters during a gun battle that occurred at Ejemekuru in Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State. Also, on March 2, troops killed an IPOB fighter after a fierce gun duel and recovered three Improvised Explosive Devices, one Toyota Highlander SUV, one Hilux vehicle, and eight rounds of 7.62mm (Special) ammunition, among others from their hideouts. However, in a statement on Sunday, the Director, Defence Media Operations, Maj. Gen. Edward Buba said the troops came in contact with many Improvised Devices planted by the fighters and ditches along the axis to the camps. Buba added that the fighters’ hideouts were well concealed with foliage that prevented them from being sighted during air surveillance. The statement read, “On March 7, 2024, the combined troops of Operation Udo Ka with Nigeria Police, Department of State Security Service, and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps conducted a raid/clearance operations to the IPOB/ESN violent extremists/terrorists in Mother Valley, Orsu LGA of Imo State. The hideouts were well concealed with foliage that afforded the criminals cover from air surveillance to prevent monitoring and detection. “The Valley had sufficient power supply for the camps. The terrorists hibernated there, reared animals, and also owned farms to be self-sustaining to live and fight. During the operations, troops also encountered several command IEDs and ditches along the axis of the camp.” Buba stated that the ditches dug by the fighters were covered and the IEDs detonated. He noted that in the fight that ensued after making contact with the fighters, 20 of them were killed and several weapons were recovered from them. Buba said, “All were detonated and ditches were covered with excavators before reaching the camp. The location is identified to be the supreme headquarters, command, and control centre as well as the Military Council Headquarters of IPOB/ESN. “During the operations, troops made contact with terrorists. Following a firefight, troops neutralised 20 terrorists and recovered several quantities of assorted weapons such as G3 rifles, AK47 rifles, auto pump action guns, double barrel guns, locally made pistols, and RPG bombs. “Troops also recovered assorted ammunition which included 226 rounds of 7.62mm special ammo, 216 rounds of 7.62mm NATO, 172 live cartridges, 4 AK47 magazines, and 3 G3 magazines. Other items recovered include several quantities of IEDs (OGBUNIGWE), POS devices, baofeng radios, mobile phones, handheld IEDs, CCTV cameras, inverters, and batteries. Additional items include Biafra flags amongst others.” Buba also said shallow graves were spread across the IPOB fighters’ camps, accusing them of being involved in ritual killings. “Troops destroyed all camps, hideouts, and shrines in the location. The location was also littered with shallow graves indicative of Idol worshipping and ritual killings. The ritual killings at the camp account for the several cases of missing persons in the region. “The recovered items are being processed and analysed for their intelligence value. Nevertheless, troops are sustaining the momentum and going in pursuit of the terrorist and their cohorts, dislodging them from their enclaves,” the statement added. https://punchng.com/security-agents-kill-20-ipob-fighters-destroy-50-hideouts-in-imo/

"The first thing to tackle is food inflation. Once we tackle insecurity and farmers return to farms, our food production will go up and inflation will go down through reduced food prices." - Peter Obi |
A Nigerian shared a video of his plantain farm in Ikare Ekiti, which was allegedly overrun by Fulani Herdsmen. In the video, all the plantain trees have been brought down, with no fruits in sight. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_DDLijYiCk?si=TTxBR2B293V5ktlz Food inflation remains a problem in Nigeria, with a current rate of 36% food inflation year-on-year. With farmers unable to engage in farming, or see the produce of their efforts in harvest season, the situation is unlikely to improve. With the government unable/unwilling to effectively combat the menace, it remains a persistent problem threatening the Nation's 200 million population. |
socialmediaman:Yeah. Shut down the economy. People couldn't even afford things as cheap as seeing each other. |
This one nah lie abeg. 60% kor. |
Nokia phones have this too. A simple search online confirmed Nokia had been working on getting the best out of your battery through aggressive RAM management. However, this simple search also showed how to overcome it.

At about 13:00 GMT today, the Nigerian Police Force, through their X handle, responded to the accusation of Nigerians over their alleged oppression and dehumanising of Chioma Egodi, who gave a negative review of a tomato paste she bought for use. Erisco foods through the C.E.O., Eric Umeofia, subsequently petitioned her to the Nigerian Police Force (NPF), who swung into action to arrest her. She was eventually released last year, as confirmed by the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), pending when she is summoned to appear before the courts. However, she had been re-arrested and Nigerians have since expressed their displeasure at the oppression of the consumer, allegedly spurred by the CEO, who has, on news media, sworn to help those who want to die, to die. The Nigerian Police, through the Force PRO, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, thus claimed the following against her and those who have shown support for her: 1. That she played a role in violating extant laws on proper use of the cyberspace. 2. That the crowdfunding done on her behalf is to influence legal proceedings. 3. That the Nigerian Police is set to enforce all laws without fear, favour, or sentiments. 4. That Chima Egodi should cease the continual jumping of bail. 5. That social media influencers should shun all display of sentiments in the case. The Lead Counsel to Chioma, had since responded to the claims against his client, describing the police report as prejudicial. Without mincing words, he addressed each claim thoroughly, demonstarting how and why they are utterly baseless. 1. That she played a role in violating extant laws on proper use of the cyberspace. We consider this statement prejudicial to a fair trial. Since the police has filed a charge in court, they should allow the court to determine the case instead of engaging in media trial. It is curious that the Force PRO has chosen to keep the so-called “compelling evidence” only in his head. He should extract it from his head and present it before the court. We cannot comment on fiction. 2. That the crowdfunding done on her behalf is to influence legal proceedings. "We are unable to make sense of this particular statement as it is neither coherent nor reasonable. It is preposterous for the Force PRO to insinuate that crowdfunding can influence legal proceedings. He failed to state exactly how this is possible or how it affects Chioma’s case. If the Force PRO is interested in getting a share of the funds contributed by concerned Nigerians to support Chioma, he should come out plainly and say so instead of indulging in embarrassing prevarication." 3. That the Nigerian Police is set to enforce all laws without fear, favour, or sentiments. "This is laughable because every action taken so far in this matter shows blatant disregard for the rule of law. For example, it is on record that policemen who claimed to be acting under the orders of the Inspector General of Police illegally invaded the home of our client on 9th January, 2024 and laid siege to her home for over 10 hours in their attempt to rearrest her, in violation of the subsisting restraining order of the Federal High Court that our client must not be rearrested except on the express order of a court of competent jurisdiction." 4. That Chima Egodi should cease the continual jumping of bail. "We are equally taken aback by the barefaced falsehood propagated by the Force PRO to the effect that Chioma had jumped bail. This is offensive and we may be forced to sue ACP Adejobi for that defamatory statement. Chioma is not on the run and has never jumped bail. The fact of the matter is that since the Police filed their charge against her, they refused or failed to serve her with a copy of the charge. Chioma has also not been served with a trial notice or summons from the court. Before rushing to the media to scandalize our client, the Force PRO should have sought legal advice on the extant legal procedures. Under the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, 2015, a defendant who is not in custody must be served with a copy of the charge along proof of evidence and notice of trial. These are preconditions to the appearance of the defendant in court. The last two times that the charge came up in court, the police prosecutor admitted that they were yet to serve Chioma with a copy of the charge and pleaded for more time. We waited for them to do so but they didn’t. We proceeded on our own to apply for and obtain the certified true copy of the charge to save the time of the Court. We did this to demonstrate that Chioma is ready and very willing to stand trial and has nothing to fear." 5. That social media influencers should shun all display of sentiments in the case. "It is sad that rather than commend us for going on our own to obtain the charge instead of waiting till whenever the police decides to serve Chioma, the Force PRO has decided to peddle a false and malicious narrative for reasons best known to him. We urge ACP Adejobi to desist from propaganda and imbibe responsible policing attributes." INIBEHE EFFIONG, ESQ. (Lead Counsel to Chioma Okoli). 7th March, 2024. https://x.com/InibeheEffiong/status/1765723295880552535?s=20 nlfpmod, Fergie001

BOSSkesh:You know nothing. You lots were all over the place when Binance exit was announced but you were reminded that it's a short-lived drama. Well, here we are now. You either bite the humble pie at the expected stupidity or clam up. |
Chivik93:Most? You do know what 'most' means right? That means your claim should be so easy to prove. |
FreeStuffsNG:This explains the pathetic population of early morning "all manner of" smokers littering the streets of Lagos instead of using their God-given able-bodied strength for nothing but to beg people going about their daily hustle. Bros-this, Oga-that. It is not because of their lack of education or decision to drop out, Nope. It is not because of their poor life choices, e.g. choosing to smoke around instead of looking for/sticking to a job, Never. It isn't because of their poverty-stricken homes either. It is simply because their parents taught them to hate Nigeria. All they need to do is to love Nigeria. Doesn't matter whether they are illiterates, lazy and engage in all manner of vices. Just love Nigeria and everything goes excellent for them. Somebody that regrets travelling abroad is thanking God that he is in that economy o. OP and his people that loves Nigeria more than the truth.
