Romance › She Is Confused About Her Man's Attitude. by destante(op): 12:30pm On Sep 08, 2014
Okay this was the issue for discussion on a popular radio station yesterday evening and I thought to put it out here. It apparently is a true life story.
*************************
My name is Kemi. I used to work in my dad's
company till I had my second child. My dad told
me to stay home and take care of the kids and I
enjoyed every minute of being a wife and mum until
I lost my dad. It was in my dad’s will to make my
husband CEO after my father's death, so my
husband took over. 3 months ago, he came home
and said to me..
"I don't love you Kemi, I never did. I appreciate
everything you have done but it is time I move on
with my life. You can keep the house, cars and I'll
arrange monthly allowance for you and the kids. If
your brother agrees with my lawyer's terms, I'll pay
him well for his share in the company. Thanks to
your father, I own 70% of the company. Don't try to
fight this, it is your father's will."
Two weeks later, my dad’s lawyer came to see me.
She had a handwritten letter by my dad. There was
a clause in the will saying If Tayo leaves me
without any fault of mine or if he dies before me, I
take over the company. Tayo came to the house
two days later, begging me to forgive him.
Please what do I do?
Romance › Re: Why Is It That Ladies Dont Reveal Their Real Age? by destante(f): 11:37am On Sep 08, 2014
naijaboiy: inferiority??

Still doesn't make sense to me
Yes. Some people feel bothered by knowing they are too young or too old for the condition or person they want to fit into. For most of those people, its a phase they may outgrow.

naijaboiy: Doesn't actually make sense to me undecided

I mean what's the point of doing that huh

Some guys are guilty of it too angry
Yea, it has nothing to do with gender but the person. I think people do it to fill a gap of inferiority. undecided
Romance › Re: What "AGE" Is Ideal For A Guy Or Girl To Get Into A Relationship? by destante(f): 12:22pm On Sep 07, 2014
Getting into a relationship involves so much emotion. Generally it depends on the individual. But for me, a guy below 18 may not be able to handle that appropriately. And I don't think a lady below 16 can too.
Romance › Re: True Love Is Sacrifice, Can You Die For Your Man/woman? by destante(f): 12:10pm On Sep 07, 2014
stanconnect: Reasonable how? What's your own definition of love? Our problem here is that many people who do love fail to understand the roots of love! Some one who truelly understands love knows very much that it's all about sacrifice;

Sacrifice here doesn't mean only death, some ppl can give up their future, their kidney and several other painful acts just for a partner they truelly love and care for, that's those that really know what love is, Jesus dide for our sins cos he loved us...nd that's love too! will u also tag him or God unreasonable? Am just curious and need to know!
Okay don't get me wrong. Don't confuse agape with Eros. Gods love for us is unmatchable, entirely spiritual and divine. Eros on the other hand is physical and with much emotion. I agree it involves sacrifice but be honest, it will hardly get to sacrificing ones life. Eros is supposed to be requited, for both to enjoy. It comes to nothing if one half isn't there no more to relish the love that they have for the person they putatively died for. That's the unreasonableness.
Romance › Re: Having A Beard Makes Women Want Sleep With You 8) by destante(f): 10:05am On Sep 07, 2014
I guess its different strokes for different folks. Yes I love men with clean short beards that brushes my chin too. Or at least something to play with.
Romance › Re: True Love Is Sacrifice, Can You Die For Your Man/woman? by destante(f): 9:59am On Sep 07, 2014
I think dying for a partner is just a deliberate hyperbolic cliché to show the intense of affection. Though we always have the weird outliers, no reasonable human would do this for a partner.
Romance › Re: Is My Boyfriend A Sex Slave by destante(f):
First be careful about your health honey. Then, I don't advice you to go stalking him, only a few ladies know how to do this perfectly. You shouldn't keep quiet either. In such instance, its best you talk to him about your suspicion. And just watch his body language for answers, cuz he would most likely lie, if he was guilty. If he gets too defensive, don't force it or insist. But you already have your answer. Its your decision to make thereafter, which should most likely be- discouraging him from such any further. Good luck honey.

Romance › Re: They're so in Love, But She's 4 Years Older by destante(f): 7:48pm On Sep 06, 2014
I honestly can understand that regardless of the love the man might have for the woman, it will be difficult for him to settle down when he is not yet ready. Love shouldn't contradict common sense. However, there is a place for the girl if the love is that genuine. The guy could agree to engage the girl until he is finally ready for marriage. This could take place for years. This way, the woman can be secure and the man not coaxed into early marriage.

Romance › Re: To The Ladies by destante(f): 10:25am On Sep 06, 2014
mencade5: if i generalize according to you then its my view and not yours.
I dont see this as a debate. Opposing me is nothing. But do it mildly as an adult.
Lol of course. We are both airing opposite views here and no one should get hurt.. I saw the statement as thrash and I was blunt about it. Should I be sorry about how I saw it? Its not an insult on ur persona but a reaction to the statement itself. Dasall.
Romance › Re: To The Ladies by destante(f): 10:08am On Sep 06, 2014
mencade5: hurt? Never, but stop degrading my comment. If you want to fight for your fellow women then there are other means to do it.
Its not a degradation, its an opposing view. And no one is holding nothing for any sex here. The point is, you don't generalize.
Romance › Re: Question Of The Day:- Toolz Or Bugatti – Which Would You Choose? by destante(f): 10:05am On Sep 06, 2014

mencade5: excuse woman. Dont u ever refer to my comment as thrash. This is a forum not a family meeting.
Make ur own comments and go.

Make u no try am next time ooo
Well if that hurt you sorry. Still, its for that same reason as the place is a forum that I can make an opposing view which i insist. Bye sir.
Romance › Re: To The Ladies by destante(f): 9:47am On Sep 06, 2014
mencade5: a real gentleman is a complete mugu to naija ladies. Forget all this niceness on paper, treat them like shiiit and you will become a god in her eyes.

From a testifier.
What is this thrash? angry This is not coherent as it does not account to all ladies, either as seeing gentlemen as "mugu" or as seeing the reverse as gods. smh for that generalization.
