Though the devaluation of a countries currency is a necessary evil during economic down-time, however, I think its really sad and painful especially when one compare it's dollar equivalent.

My Brother, though am not in any kind of debate with you, but I think, APC should focus more on convincing Nigerian's within Nigeria on their program and policies. Going to London to (pay to make a speech) and even hyping about same is degrading to me. Has Cameron or Blair ever come to Nigeria to campaign? They should also be worried that with the extension of election, they have lost quite a lot of support. This is my observation anyway.
Lastly, thanks for responding to my post as for me,myself & I, is GEJ all the way.

Ephemmm:

Of what use is PDP advertisement of its achievement by spending over 20billion in media house after 16 years of its administration?

In fact, APC as an opposition party needs much of this than PDP, because they have never tasted the Presidency since the inception of democracy in Nigeria.

If you have truly performed well, your performances are supposed to be campaigning for you as at now and not incessant media propaganda.

This is the reason why it is good to try to always be the best in all our activities.

Ogogoro drinker from Niger Delta is on his way back to zoo, why not hold your tears and learn lession?

Nigeria is on the brink, honestly....

We have been hearing so much buzz about this speech at Chatham House today and the question that i'd ask is of what importance is that to us as Nigerians, and to our economy?
Will this action in anyway change the outcome of the election?
Just inquisitive though.

Politics / Re: Nigerian Soldiers Dancing Skelewu After The Defeat Of Boko Haram In Baja ( Video by Desteenee(m): 7:41pm On Feb 25, 2015
Pedagogue:
@ Op, I just watched that video. Nothing in the video suggests that they were dancing "after the defeat of boko haram".
In fact, from their body language, it looks more like they were being 'prepped' and 'motivated' for a battle ahead.

...........
May I crave the indulgence of everyone to pour out my mind on what has been boggling me. For you to understand me, I will use a numbered list.

1. I am a Nigerian. I am a Christian. The nature of my work makes it impossible for me to have 'enough time' for social media.

2. I have been following GEJ and Buhari's campaign.

3. I have never, and i beg to repeat, NEVER been this interested in Nigeria's politics, like I am now.

4. The reasons why I'm now keenly interested in the political future of this country is because i believed some of the campaign promises of GEJ. To tell you that I am disappointed is an understatement. Below are some of the reasons why I'm disappointed:

a) I'm tired of a govt that plays politics with everything. Or how can you rationalise the govt's last minute war on boko haram? Where was GEJ when thousands were killed?
b)I'm tired of a govt that cited security concerns for not visiting Borno BUT was able to hold a rally in the same Borno that was declared 'unsafe'.
c)Power generation is at its lowest ebb. It is as if I live in a different country when i see adverts praising GEJ for bettering power supply.
d) Corruption nko? Don't go there...The President is arguably the only President that has not hidden his love for corruption. He surrounds himsef with corrupt people and promotes corrupt people. You doubt me? Alams, Bode George, FFK, Oduah etc all come to mind.
e) Education? ASUU was on strike for 6 months. ASUP was on strike for 11 months. Colleges of education were locked for several months...Oh, he established new universities...Does it even make sense? The existing ones are crying for attention and all our President could do was to establish new universities...Ive you been to the Federal University in Oye, Ekiti. You will weep for Nigeria.
g) Hospitals....Too bad. Do you know the number of lives that were lost to the incessant strikes of the Health workers...
i) No government has polarised Nigeria along ethnic and religious lines like this man...He thinks we can just gloat over his INCOMPETENCE because he's a Xtian and from the South...No way!!!I can go on and on

5. Forget GEJ's pious posture. He's very desperate. He's ready to do anything to win the elections.
6. They think Nigerians are simpletons. They think by paying some youths to write pro- GEJ comments on social media and furthering their propaganda on AIT and co will win them the elections...THEY ARE WRONG.
7. My daily interaction with Nigerians show that MANY cannot wait for MARCH 28...
8. The Presidential election is not about Buhari v GEJ
9. It's about RIGHT v WRONG.
10. Lets face it.The First Term performance of GEJ is his best.No politician has ever performed better in it's Second term.

I cannot wait to vote for Buhari/Osinbajo
Are u through bros?

It is GEJ that is Facing Impending Failure that's why he's going round d S/west and prostrating to Obas and Commissioning power projects that have already been commissioned under OBJ!! CHANGE is the only constant thing in life....See Buhari, Osinbajo and Other APC leaders on the streets talking to the Lowest of the Low, it shows that they're people oriented!! unlike GEJ and Sambo that are sitting down in Aso rock....they can't even enter streets without security personnel if not ehn (holds lips). GEJ didn't need to abuse Buhari or reduce fuel price or postpone elections or delay the Crushing of Boko Haram in 2011.....we all came out in Mass and voted for him but he has failed that's y he has to play dirty politics Now!! Change is coming.....Enter the streets and see!! GEJ would only win the S/East and South south.....would that be enough?
My dear friend, forgive my ignorance. But as a person that has travelled to different parts of the con3 within the last month, am telling you the reality on ground.
wishing u d best as u match for Pa Buhari.

lol..i love how u TANoids like to console yourselves.

Ofcourse every one knows that JK is Just Kidding about being lagos governor...

But as for presidency....my dear....the only way PDP can win is if they disqualify Buhari and stop PVC,

Unfortunately, any plan to disqualify Buhari would simply be an invitation to Anarchy as you can see already, Nigerians have already decided.
When anarchy comes now, you will go and hide like a coward.
Just like your friend that said " We will shut down Nigeria if election is postponed". We are still waiting for Amechi, no (Nkechy) to carry out his threat.

I really cannot wait to see your faces after the election. And whether u believe or not, I can authoritatively tell u that APC has lost quite a lot of die hard supporters who have seen d truth.

Politics / Re: BREAKINGNEWS: Buhari On Sick Bed In LONDON by Desteenee(m): 1:43pm On Feb 24, 2015
dealslip:
Buhari is only slightly better than GEJ is some aspects such as security because of his military background, asides that, I dont see what he is going to do differently about the economy, infrastructures and corruption. To make matters worse, he is surrounded by corrupt individuals mostly from PDP. This people cannot milk Nigeria dry under PDP and then crossover to APC to continue the looting under another name. APC is lies all through and through. Buhari is the only positive I can point too in that party and so cannot help Nigeria in anyway. Apart from the rumour that he is sick, he is also old. Ruling a state at that age is strenous not to talk of a complex and volatile country like Nigeria. Nigeria is a strategically important nation in the world, we cannot afford to hand it over to hyennas and jackals preaching lies and change at the same time. To be honest Fashola is actually what gave AC any shot at recognition, Tinubu is only riding on the job Fashola did in Lagos to baptise himself as the change agent and opposition, as a governor he didnt do much himself, half the time he made a lot of noise and fought OBJ, the civil servants, sold many of Lagos state property to himself and cronies, installed family members in strategic position and owed the pensioners for three years. Ogun, Oshun, Oyo states didnt experience any significant change till date. AC became a bride because Fashola made little progress which to me is still below the pass mark. The lies that brought APC together will definitely split them. Imagine Atiku, OBJ, Tinubu, Amaech in one camp. this is greed personified. This is disastrous for Nigeria. The likes of Tinubu, Amaechi are already eying the juicy areas where they can start feeding their greed. Buhari is not exactly a bad guy but APC is definately is Achilles Heel.
God bless you for this insightful talk.
