1. Who are these politicians?
2. Whose money are they sharing?
3. If there is liquidity squeeze as we are meant to believe then where is the over 200M coming from?

What is really going on in this country??

What is even the rig count here in Nigeria.
It is quite sad most operators chickened out of Exploration and drilling new oil wells because of the glut that led to the fall in crude oil prices.

Other countries are seizing the opportunity of getting fair and competitive prices at a time like this. Oil exploration activity in Nigeria has almost hit a ground zero.Cost per barrel ls very low compared to the last 4years. Banks have refused to invest in oil and gas activities, neither are they given loans to Indepedent oil companies to prospect for oil and gas. If we don't do something fast, our production will hit 1.6million barrels by December

No sir, the IOCs' suspended exploration and major projects due to government's inability to fund its' JV partnership. Until the JV funding is addressed and the petroleum industry given a clear direction via a sound and purposeful legislation (read PIB), the reserves will continue to go south.
These simple acts have however proved to be rocket science for our successive governments.

Sometime last month, a supposed lady posted a topic "should I sell myself for a few pieces of silver". She complained of not being able to pay her school fees among other things. I got in touch with this scammer and offered to assist on the condition that if I verify her story to be true, then I will pay the fees directly to the school which she claimed was 42k then pay 58k into her account without getting to meet her.

I contacted the school, Unical, directly to verify her claims of being a student of the accountancy department and being unable to pay her fees but discovered there was no record of a Peace Aganyi in 200/300 accountancy or the existence of the matric number she quoted on her infamous post.

On confronting her with these facts, she said her course of study is actually business administration and not accountancy. Meanwhile this same person confirmed to me the father was still alive despite her claim the father was late. Record of our conversations are very much available.

I have done some investigations and discovered the Glamoured is actually a boy, apparently related to the character called Peace, the lady with the piece of paper in that post with 'glamoured' written on it, whom it appears is also part of the scam.

So fellow Nairalanders, I know our hearts burn to help our brothers/sisters in need but please take out time to verify their claims before committing a kobo.

Can somebody please tell this I...t to stop wearing shirt and tie, that is Christian/western (haram) dressing. So also for his computers and other gadgets. He should also commit to sending his children to only Islamic schools as any western education is haram.

I'm not disputing the fact that this problem (vandalism) has been going on for long, what baffled me was the sudden ethnic coloratiozn of the situation from pipeline vandals or hoodlums to "Ijaw militants" which is capable of causing unnecessary tension in an already heated polity.

@Op, I used to live @Ikorodu, around the Isawo area as far back as 2010. The issue has been on even before then. The issue has always been petroleum products christened pure water. So let us be careful what we spread around.
