She wants to do her Master's in Germany What are the chances of getting visa ?
I don't don't want to waste €100 for Application fee
What are the chances or should we look at other countries Other countries would be better, Germany is a bit of a hassle from here. You can look at the Netherlands or Belgium |

Please what would be your advice for my brother who wants to study his BSc in Germany or any other European country. He has only has his WAEC and Jamb results for now.

Overall, we just want a very affordable country for him to study
Thanks so much for your responses
Background: Due to the ASUU strike, he has just be at home and dad wants us to consider Germany and other European countries where he can study affordably for his BSc. Email me asap |

Omowunmi1979: Which is one is documents validation I beg? At what points do you need to do this? Some universities require you to send documents by post, either through uni-assist or directly to the university. They would usually request that you certify your documents before sending them. You can either do that at the consulate or in a court, as some others say. I did mine at the consulate, for free and it was quick. So it's up to you to find out from the university if they require certified copies of your documents. |

trigger11: pls whats the difference in applying to universities with uni assist and DaaD pls pardon my ignorance DAAD is the database, you can't necessarily apply to universities through there, most people use it to search for universities that match their criteria. Uni-assist is the intermediate between international students and most universities in Germany. That's where people apply to |

ugonology: Please house, what does a proof of English language skills at level B2 CEFR mean? Does it mean I have to write IELTS or simply proof my previous educational certificates were taught in English language? Either you write IELTS or contact the school/University where you obtained your last educational certificate(s) to issue a letter attesting to it that your English skills in your educational documents are equivalent to the Central European FRamework B2 in English. Some schools accept the latter, IELTS is just more recommended/recognised |

devde: People are saying if I apply for the German Student visa and they don't call back to come for my documents after 2 weeks, that is good. How true is it? From what I have heard from most people, it takes at least 3 weeks before your application is approved. Rejection comes earlier. Things vary. |

amikable97: Hello all. After paying UNI-ASSIST fees and sending documents to them. How long does it take them to notify you that the document has been received? My friend sent his documents via DHL last week and the tracking shows that it has arrived to the service point in Berlin on Friday, but Uniassist has not given any update on their portal. Should he wait, or should he mail them? Thanks in advance An email can be sent for enquiry |

trinityconcept: Please comrades someone said it's difficult for an applicant using sponsorship letter to be granted visa that they focus on those with blocked account
How true is this It's not entirely true. People who use formal declaration still make the cut, just that it's recommended to use blocked account because the officials here tend to fidget about those submitting formal declaration (based on opinions of more experienced people, due to experiences between the officials and other Nigerians). The formal declaration has to be verified very very well, which could result in delay, but someone also told me that if you have a relative there who even shares surname with you, that's gold, there won't be much hassle. So, all in all, you can use formal declaration if you can, just steer clear of the fakes because if you're caught, sorry is all that can be said. |

9cguy: Please my Oga, abeg help me I have a scholarship from a German registered (private)company which is also operating in Germany. Does this qualify me for Category A?
I am a bit confused because what was written on the visa page is German organisation financed from German PUBLIC funds.. Usually, by public funds they would mean scholarships funded by the government eg Bafög. Having a scholarship from a private company may not qualify you for category A, unless in some other cases which I'm not so sure of. Make your own enquiries where necessary. |

UPDATED2020: with that ausbiludung contract she has,it qualifies her for that category ,and what level of German does she have to have secure the ausbildung if I may ask. To apply for most spots on an ausbildung, you need B1 or B2 of German. Skilled workers are those who are going for regular jobs, not apprenticeships, so she can't apply for that particular category. If she was already a nurse and then got a direct job over there, then she qualifies as a skilled worker. |

UPDATED2020: you applied for the wrong visa category, with you ausbildung you will get a date under 3weeks if you applied for the right category. Nope. It's another category, which still allocates up to one year of waiting |

Sodiqabidemi: I had a long term visa list B appointment at the consulate today 3rd May 2022. I presented all documents however the money transfer made has not gotten to the blocked account as at the time of the interview.
I presented the receipt of the transfer and the debit details but I was told there won't be an interview without the confirmation of the blocked account.
Fortunately, I got the confirmation details thirty minutes after leaving the Consulate, I rushed back but I was sent back by Mr Paul and told to send a mail.
Guys, how do I go about it? thank you for your inputs Send an email to them stating your case. You can also call them.. they can help you reschedule. While sending an email include the emails you received when you booked an appointment and when you were given an appointment date. In most cases they usually attend to such predicaments faster. |

Alamsvcc: Men & brethren, is there anyone who has recently processed S.L because from my current experience,it seems there is an embargo on processing of S.L in Germany especially since the hit of Ukraine crises..My own that I sent back to Germany for updating is yet to get the attention of German immigration officers according to the report I got from my sponsor......who else has something to say about this ugly development? Depends on the city. It's a general crisis, but some places move faster than others. The best you can do is to be patient. They'd get back to you soon. |
