ItsArr: If I'm to upload online and not send by post do I still need to make certified photocopies? University of Bonn requires certified copies for online application while Bremen didn't require certified copies. Some schools will even ask you to mail ordinary photocopies to them via postal service Anybody can ask for anything. Just do exactly as you've been asked |

Doktajay5: thanks guys for the information so far. please i want to get somethings clear. i was told that if one was unable to get free tuition university in Germany, such is expected to block his school fees and cost of living before such could get visa. how true is this. also can you throw more light on paying fees for the non tuition free schools. If you'll be attending a tuition fee based course, you'll pay your school fees separately to the school. The blocked account is for your visa processing. |

Dreamchaserz: Please how do you mean set? Like a B.Sc certificate photocopied in 5 places?
Secondly is there a limit to the number of times one can book for appointment? The first part of your question has been answered. About the second part, there's no limit to the number of times you can book appointment for certification. However, note that for each set of document, you must provide the application form for the school you want to use it for. What I mean is that you can't just go with the documents like that. You must provide a printed application form of the school bearing your details. So if you want to certify 5 sets, you're going with 5 application forms. If you check the consulate website, you'll see these details there in a downloadable PDF file |

PstTobi: Yes, I finished from Futa boss. The date of birth on my Waec result is 1995 instead of 1996 will I need to write new Waec boss. I also finished from FUTA too. Anyway, about your waec, of course you don't need to write another one. Go to waec office and see if any correction can be done concerning it. If they can't, just go to court and swear affidavit that your date of birth is 1996 , not 1995. That will suffice. |

PstTobi: Someone please help From the little I've found out, availability of scholarships decreases from PhD down to BSc. You'll hardly find a PhD that's not funded, cos it's like a job. For MSc, there are a few scholarships and funding, but you'll have to search very well. For BSc, the search might be stiffer, but nothing is impossible. Open Google, daad, anywhere bro. Find information, enter anywhere We'll be fine. But then, I guess it's because there's zero tuition that's why scholarships are not much for BSc. If you don't mind saying, did you finish from FUTA? |

BayoMiller: sorry if may ask, it is compulsory to certify only and the german consulate? It depends on what your school wants. I've seen a school that want only public notary. Most will accept certification from any of the legal issuing bodies. But some (a prominent example is JMU, Wuerzburg) require that your documents must be certified by the German consulate. |

Dreamchaserz: Thanks for this information. Please how much does it cost to certify say 20 documents at the German Consulate? Firstly, certification is free in the consulate. But you can only certify a maximum of 5 sets of documents per appointment My opinion is open to corrections, if there's any. |

However, this may only be applicable to this particular university Yes, definitely. I just wanted to ensure I exhaust the letter I collected But then I can apply as a native speaker sef. |

AKUPSME: I didn't write my FSLC exam when I was supposed to, because I was told then that when writing a common entrance exam ,you dont need a FSLC exam at all. When I recognized the importance was almost very late in the year 2012, I wrote the exam anyway Same year I graduated from my Uni. My question is ,Can I go with this kind of certificate for interview, or I should just avoid it totally.
I need suggestions please I'm still correct fa. FSLC is first school leaving certificate. That's your primary school certificate na. Since you wrote common entrance, your primary school is supposed to issue you a statement of your results and confirmation that you attended the school. I finished primary school in 2006 and I wrote only the state government placement exam. I just got my certificate around march 2018 after going back to my primary school. That's why I said you should approach them. If it doesn't work, go to the ministry of education of the state. They should have your records, or they'll issue you a certificate for a token. I hope you understand my point |

mikkypel: Good afternoon friends, brothers, sisters and family
Yesterday I succeeded in collecting my letter of English proficiency and forwarding my transcript so I can get it from my school
But I have another thing running through my mind. I studied Environmental Health Technology at Hnd Level and Environmental Health Science at Bsc level but as at the time I would apply come April, I would be able to use the Hnd because the Bsc cert won't be available by then
Is there any school you can refer me to that prefers letter of English Proficiency to TOEFL. i am looking for any means to boycott that TOEFL exams. Any help in sourcing for any school with any related course at Bsc level will be appreciated
I don try tire to dey search
God bless everyone You'll know all these stuffs when you mail the course coordinator of the school you're applying to. They'll tell you everything you need to know. The image attached is a screenshot from my mail box. I asked them if proficiency letter is acceptable, and he replied that I must have TOEFL or IELTS.

AKUPSME: Please I need suggestions as my date is fast approaching You can approach the ministry of education and see what can be done for you. The FSLC issue can be dicey. Some people didn't go with it, and they weren't Disturbed. Some didn't go with it, and they were returned... It's better to be safe. Exhaust every means possible, if there's nothing else that can be done, then just pray for God's favour. |

Armstrong34: please good people of Nairaland.... can you List out the universities that doesn't require Uni-assist for application...
Like schools that gives students access to apply by uploading their qualifications on their application portal.....I mean direct application by uploading the required documents into their admission portal.... Open daad.de When you input your course and filter Open each entry on a new tab. Check under Requirements/Registration. You'll be told whether it's directly online, via uni assist, or totally offline (i.e via post mail). You can take a step forward by opening the course website. You'll find it in the daad page. You can also take a confirmatory step forward by sending an email to the course coordinator. You'll find his/her email on the daad page too. They reply messages. Ask them any question relating to your admission. Shalom! |

Dannyozs: Guys, please I need your advice on this issue. Prior to my coming in touch with Nairaland Germany student visa forum, I was misinformed regarding the procedure of application to schools in Germany. I made a mistake which (personally) I feel might be damning to my interview which will hold on the 16th of this month. I had my original documents (statement of result, transcript, ielts) certified (as in they where all stamped). I have been using them without an issue, I got admission with it. I have never felt it could be an issue. Just last month while crosschecking my documents, I had a what if feeling, so I just reapplied to my school to get my original certificate and another transcript but lo and behold, I still haven't gotten them till today. Therefore I am going to use these certified originals, I don't know if this will be a problem, if there's an alternative. Thank you You'll be fine bro. Just make photocopies of your originals and take them along for the interview. Remember to work with the checklist. Make sure you have everything listed there. God bless |
