SyberKate: Okay so you are saying I can ask the HR in my company or CEO to request for it? Exactly. Send the transcript from your school to where you work. Pick it up there |

SyberKate: so I want to apply to this school in Germany. i made an enquiry to the school and they sent me this.
The list of application documents you have to submit via uni-assist include among others:
+a certified copy of your bachelor's diploma and certified bachelor transcripts of records (list of subjects taken), +a simple copy of your higher education entrance qualification (e.g. Secondary School Leaving Certificate, High School Diploma, A-levels, Abitur etc.; you need a notarised translation to German or English from a sworn translator if the original is not in German or English), +a concise up-to-date curriculum vitae with details about your educational history, practical experience (if applicable), research interests etc., +a thesis or equivalent publication (if the thesis/equivalent publication is not in English or German, you have to submit the paper(s) in the original language and to add a meaningful summary in English or German), +simple copies of passports/official personal identifications/german residence permit etc.
my concern now is that my school will not give me my transcript but will send it directly to the university I'm interested in so how do I get it notarized also I'm applying for MSc so what do they mean by a thesis publication @bolded, there's a scope I've learnt from the seniors on the thread. Go to a nearby University (not the one you graduated from) or Company, explain to the HOD/Manager (anyone you sha know that's in charge there) what you need your transcript for. Then, make your school send the transcript to the department/company, and pick it up there yourself. Make photocopies of it and notarize it. You can notarize at 1. State/Federal High courts 2. Public notaries (They are kinda special lawyers who can do that for you) 3. German consulate in Lagos. You'll need to book an appointment for that. |

Delaw00: Pls pages are over 400 and i use a small nokia phone,it's gonna be tough. I've been in that situation before. Trust me it might be difficult to read it through, but if this matter is on top of your priority list, you'll close your eyes to any hindrance. At least you can start from somewhere first. Shey you're a Futarian bah? Start reading with your phone first, when you resume, or if you live in Akure, go to CRC obakekere or obanla, buy time there (it was #100 for 6 hours when I was a student there, dunno the price now). They have computers you can also use for that period of browsing. Go with a jotter where you'll write down important facts. I wish you well, fellow Futarian. What course do you study? |

jacob05: This birth cert thing is a bit confusing... called the embassy's hotline and the call center lady said local government issued birth cert is accepted but hearing conflicting story here..
As anyone used local government issued birth cert here? has anyone been rejected cus of local government issued cert? If you claim that you called the embassy and you were told that local government certificate is accepted, then use it. I believe you were born after December 1992. Shalom! |

Larrylrkay: Pls house, I need pieces of information here ASAP
1.My primary school certificate is lost. I have been using court affidavit for long. Can I still present same affidavit at the embassy during my interview?
2.I do not have any of the items indicated in the applicants checklist on the embassy's website, that is; **Biographically old documents (older than 5 years) to verify identity (such as library card, baptism certificate, vaccination card etc.)*** pls what can I use in subtitude?
3.My certificate of registration of birth was issued by my state and not NPC. Hope it's fine or I can also use court affidavit?
Thanks my people. 1. I'm not too sure about using that court affidavit. Try to approach the ministry of education in your state to see what can be done to replace your certificate 2. Just bring any document that you obtained from anytime up till 2014... If you have completed a bachelors, you can find a course form, or maybe you use your jamb slip. Anything that identifies you sha, and is older than 5yrs 3. if you were born before December 1992, you'll have to use declaration of age deposed by your dad or head of family. If you were born after, NPC certificate can be accepted.. now, I do not know if state/local government issued birth certificates can be accepted in lieu of NPC, but then we can't afford to risk anything. If we'll need to get NPC certificate, just get it and be at rest |
