I just applied for msc integrated life sciences yesterday.

I thought was applying for winter not knowing that it was a summer application.

I mailed them to see if the application can be converted to winter because I'll not be able able to submit the documents before the deadline....

If you applied yesterday, Then the application is for winter.. it opened on 21

In fact I mailed the course coordinator on Friday night requesting whether I can submit the certificate after the first semester or session.

I would have gotten my own admission too by now but I couldn't because I was not able to meet 1 of the requirements which is German proficiency.

Yeah I wondered why they'll ask for A2 certification for an English masters in biochemistry, Bioinformatics

Some English courses do not have German requirement tho.

Thank you for your inputs. I've gone through their site and I've verified it's free except for clinical linguistics, which is not my intended course of study. I'll add Potsdam to my shortlist.

that school dont like sending out admission/rejection letter until u ask for it.

Buy a good laptop.. lemme say #100k
Budget #15k for your data subscription, #40k for certification and postal service. Use #30k to get your international passport. Budget 20k for other miscellaneous expenses like travelling.
Buy a carton of biscuits and packs of chivita (30k should do)

Sit down with your laptop, read through this thread, peruse daad.de, Google and Wikipedia.

In less than 2 weeks of consistent reading, you'll know more than the agent.

Keep the remaining change for further use.

You can know this by opening the website of each school you have in plans. Or mail the course coordinator of the course you're applying to. They will give you the most correct info as to whether or not you need a test, or whether you can get a letter from your school stating you were taught in English

I don't think church birth certificate will be accepted.
Though your post is not clear as to whether you were born before or after 1992
But If you were born before 1992, use the affidavit method
If not, you can get a certificate from NPC

Please, is there any problem if there is a mistake on the prepaid courier envelop one submitted during the interview? That is, the candidate's name and address were written as the sender's while the German Consulate General was written as the recipient instead of the other way round, is there any problem with that or does the person need to purchase another courier envelop and send to the German Consulate General?

To be safe, try taking a correctly addressed prepaid envelope to the consulate.. if they tell you not to bother, then you're safe. It's better than assuming they'll fix it themselves.. we can't tell

Please house if someone need a SL must the person be residing in the state in which your school is located or anywhere in Germany. Eg I want to apply at Dortmund must the SL come from someone living in Dortmund.

It's not compulsory.
The SL can be gotten from the foreign office Auslanderbehorde where he/she lives.

Each school that pays tuition has regulations about that. So I can't give a direct answer cos it will vary.

If it's to uni-assist, na the same address . So they can put it together in separate envelopes.
