I understand the trauma that people who witnessed those shootings that evening went through.

However, this is not the first time the Nigerian state is killing its own people. The only difference is that this happened in Lagos, the home to most exposed Nigerians and the state has all the mainstream media houses.

The military has been killing people in Abia, Onitsha and Imo, has wiped out almost an entire village in Odi and Zaki Biam, killed lots of people in Zaria, and nobody was questioned for these atrocities.

Young people, the best way to change this country is through the ballot. Nigeria is a British experiment that is not worth dying for. If you die for this country as it is today, you and your family are the losers.

If Major General John Enenche (rtd) is victimized for doing his professional job based on information given to him, why didn't Anambra State youths reject Peter Obi's candidature because during his tenure as Governor, multitude of bodies were found floating on a river with fingers pointing at the direction of state government.
