Many Nigerian business owners, freelancers, and employees are still confused about personal income tax — what applies to them, how it’s calculated, and what has changed recently. Common questions I keep seeing: Should small business owners pay personal income tax or company income tax? How are freelancers and self-employed individuals taxed? What reliefs or allowances are available? What happens if you don’t comply? To address this, I put together a simple, written guide that explains Personal Income Tax in Nigeria in plain language, without legal jargon or accountant-heavy explanations. It’s a PDF guide, structured and practical, meant for: Small business owners Freelancers and self-employed professionals Salary earners and NYSC members If it’s useful to anyone, you can check it here: https://selar.com/461djf56f3 |

Hannania: Let me give you a very fast track. There's a company Called Microverse(Microverse.org). It's a company based in USA.
They train you for 7 months, then you use 3 months to look for a remote job. You pay them 15% of your income after your start making $1000. Some of their graduates make $30,000 because the stack they use is fullstack Ruby(HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Ruby and it's framework Ruby and Rails).
They have a one month pre-course, so don't worry if you're a beginner.
The training is on the concept of pair programming, so you'll work with students from all around the world.
If you register now, and get accepted let's say in August, by May next year you're at least a 500k earner.
That's the most practical advice from me, because it's structured, and you're learning with a goal to get a job.
Note: Ruby and rails is a sought after stack in US and Australia, so there's no much competition for developing countries developers.
This advice is just for Software Development. Other fields of Tech like Product Design, Graphic design, just get a good Udemy course and stick to it for six months while connecting with a community.
All what I mentioned needs dedication. So if you're intentional, by this time next year, you'd smile.
Good luck. Good day sir.. I got to know about Microverse from an online research but need someone to put me through the application. I have knowledge in html, css and JavaScript now and was able to complete the first stage of 44 questions and currently on the coding Challenge with hackerrank. Can you be of help?? |

TheManOfTheYear: Getting started in tech writing is just similar to development. You'd need to build your writing portfolio by writing articles on your blog. I'd suggest you use Hashnode, for your blog. Just create an account there and start writing articles.
Write comprehensive articles centered around your stack, usually something you've learnt or some other stuffs you've discovered.
After having some solid articles under your belt, then start applying for jobs online. There are many sites that would pay you to write for them. Thanks so much...I appreciate ur response |

Romance › Re: Is Sex Necessary In A Relationship? by Devynecheeh(m): 6:55pm On Dec 12, 2020 |
Nazgul: To me sex isn't necessary.
From my past relationships, if I'm to advice any girl I'll tell them to avoid sex and stand on it. Sex makes you suspicious of your partner. It makes you have unnecessary problems, unnecessary commitments, unnecessary responsibilities.... etc. How many guys would you keep offering your body to just to make them stay?
What makes most guys wants sex is when the financial demand from the girl becomes too much. Most girls will tell you that they're not ready for sex, but will still want you to show dedicated financial commitments towards them. No guy will ever agree to that.
Many girls naturally lack wisdom. Let me share a my own experience here. I met this girl some years ago, she told me her usual no sex till marriage. I asked her if she's a virgin she said no that she dated just one guy who broke her heart and now she has decided to zip up till her wedding night.
To me, I didn't have any problem with that. My problem was that this girl literally flirts on the phone with guys even in my presence. When I confront her she'll tell me they're just toasters that she doesn't have anything with them. She receives calls like a call center agent. Always on Facebook and WhatsApp till even midnight. And to make matters worse she's the urgent 2k type. So tell me would any guy in my shoes honour her request to date without sex....of course not. I had to end the whole stuff cos she wasn't contributing to my life in anyway. Most times I initiate a discussion with her on chat, she can't even sustain it without indirectly telling me one problem or the other she has.
My take...if you don't want sex in a relationship and you don't want to have any problem with your man concerning your stand, then avoid unnecessary request so it won't make him feel that you're owing him. Avoid flirting with other guys on phone and in reality. Concentrate on your relationship by looking for ways to make an impact in his life. It could be through business ideas, could be counseling, could be partnership in business, education...etc. also develop yourself. Let him see that your life is progressing. That you're successful in whatever it is that you're into.
Make him see you as someone he can't do without and he'll stick to you regardless of your no sex stand. I love your point... Why most guys have the courage to ask for sex is because they feel they need something in exchange for the favour they have done for the girl, especially if the girl is a demanding type.. |
