Does anyone have any advice or knowledge on what you can do if you want to leave your PPA and what happens next (I have already documented at my zonal office) And HR have said they can give me a discard letter. I can also find somewhere new to go to and get a request letter from them so that's not a problem.

Does anyone know if it is possible to change your PPA after resuming after being accepted and documenting? ( note I just started in January). To add to it, what if the PPA was to give you a letter dismissing you due to change of management? or they can no longer keep you as a corper?

I know I would probably have to write a reposting letter, attaching the dismissing letter and maybe a request letter to the new PPA. I just want to find out if this scenario is possible?

Does anyone know what information MUST be written on your monthly clearance letter? Must it also contain you NYSC account number? as my PPA only have the one I opened to get my PPA money ( they require all the staff to use a certain bank)

You need to be remobilized from your school, Visit the NYSC liaison office in your school. Usually in the senate building or report to the academic office.

The 3 weeks orientation camp is easy to skip, well you should just register and follow all the necessary procedures. When you are done with everything, Explain your reason to your platoon officer, He/she will even assist you to get exeat from the Camp director. You can skip the platoon officer and go straight to the camp director and explain Compassionately. But Do not try to bribe the camp director only the Platoon officer.

@Mille, What this person wrote! as for the camp bit before you do that you can also talk to the doctor doing your medical report or certificate of fitness as they can be very helpful with such situations. But in general I know a few people who didn't stay in camp at all, some where going to camp from home.

I've been given a ppa but its far from where I'm living.. It will cost me #1000 naira. Or more in a day to reach my ppa. I live in Aguda, surulere but my ppa is in ikorodu.
I've been to the secretariat to complained but they said there is nothing they can do about it
What can I do to change my ppa and be around surulere?

I'd do to the PPA and explain to them that you cannot afford the transport costs so you would like a rejection or you can ask them if they are willing to give you extra money for transport daily. then look for a new PPA in your area and get them to write a request so you can take both back with you to the secretariat.

I am batch C stream 2 in Abuja. And I have been marked absent for January. But I was told I should come for biometrics on my cds day next week. lol am I safe? because I now have two absents one for December ( the month I left came) and one for January

I wanted to ask her about clearance and bio data in January, Because I won't be able to get clearance letter from my PPA because I start on the 2nd of Jan. So I wanted to ask her If I will still be able to do clearance from the 1st-10th of January. So far on the dash board im marked present for November and absent for December ( the month I left camp). So I want to see if I will still be paid my allowee. I have done documentation ( note I didnt get an acceptance letter I used s signed and stamped acceptance slip).

The problems are many lol I just want to talk to her about it before they mark me an absconder

You're welcome and that's a question only you can find out yourself, as because you'll need to go around to different schools of your choice and ask if they are in need of a corper because you're looking for a PPA. But if you are looking in the same LGA the only logical way you can change PPAs is with a rejection unless you can justify the need to your LGI.

Please also note all my advice is based on my experience ( very limited as I just started) and everything I have read so far on NYSC on this platform and others.

Id go to your current one with the rejection with the acceptance/ request letter from the new PPA and show them and ask if you can document in that LGA instead

Has any batch 2 stream 2 corper in Abuja been able to contact the LGI responsible for zone 3 corpers ? MR/ MRS/ MS BAKARE. K.O. If anyone else has an LGI that they have spoken to during this stream can you please give me their contact details.

not that I have heard, try contacting your LGI if you can. if not try explain to you ppa why you need a rejection.

well from what's written online from NYSC you can serve as long as you graduate before you are 30 so you may not be able to serve. Either way when it's time you will register and you will know if they give you exemption or mobilization

Try get across to your L. I. He should be in a more perfect position to explain things better. I'm also batch C but stream 1, I left camp November 12 and it seems you guys resumed after we left, it was Kebbi camp. just try get across to the local government inspector for that local government which you have your PPA and call him and talk things with him. He's the best person to talk to, since by default, he's open to all Corp member under the local government, to see to their well-being in term of NYSC, though CWA(Corpers Welfare Association) see to the welfare of corpers though headed by a Corp member but overseen by the LGI(local gvt Insp). But when it comes to NYSC matters, the LGI is the best person to contact, the local government inspectors number is always in the deployment letter. The thing is, the LGI is the mouthpiece of NYSC that is closest to you and he's the person to conduct the clearance. But if peradventure you guys received any pay in camp, it could be either for November or December allowee

Thank you!! I will keep trying to call my LGI but his/ her phone has been off all week which is really annoying. But I am meant to have CDS next week so I will try to get advice from my cds coordinator and ask the person in charge of my ppa area.

sorry posted before but it didn't go through. When I went to camp they asked at the gate but I told them I didn't have it and I was a foreign graduate and I just gave them my call up letter and international passport and they let me in. And there were people I met during registration that didn't have theirs. So I really don't know if it was just luck or they might let you in. Sorry

You are as good as perfect bro, there is no cause for alarm. Your PPA now considers you as their employee and would assign to you ever privilege as related to that, and that includes issuing you your clearance form. Clearance is always between the first 10 days of every month, and the allow for that period would be paid into the account you registered with. You have no cause to fear bro

But I am not sure they can give me letter clearing me for December as I would not have started work yet so technically wont be an employee till January, which means when I go for clearance in January I wont have a letter to give them. That's me assuming you do clearance that way, as in you clear of December in January then you will now clear for January in February.

Honestly I really wish NYSC could just clearly outline everything online for us to make life easy. That's how during documentation I also wasn't allowed to do it because I only had acceptance slip that was signed and stamped and they said I must bring acceptance letter.

Did you report to your PPA immediately you were posted? If yes, then you should be on a form of leave that enables corpers to be fully prepared for service since they didn't come to camp with all their items.

If you reported and requested for a leave from your PPA, then you are recognized as one of their employee and they should give you the clearance letter.

I reported as soon as i left camp last week but only got my acceptance on Wednesday. but when I went to pick it up they asked me when I would like tot start and I said I can start immediately but then I would request two weeks leaves to get myself sorted but then he said it would be better for me to start fully on the 2nd of January. So I will start in January but I have done my documentation at my nysc zonal office.

I have an urgent question. i left camp last week batch C stream 2. And my PPA is meant to resume on the 2nd of January. Will I still be expected to do clearance to get my allawee ? because I am worried my PPA wont want to give me clearance letter as I will just be starting. I checked my dashboard and so far I have present of November and Absent for December. Will another absent put me in trouble?

I got my posting letter today and I wasn't given an address to my LGA. I am serving in Abuja and it just said my local government area is in WUSE, no address, no name, nothing. Does anyone know any LGAs in Wuse?

For anyone asking, I confirmed when I was in camp today by the officials there that the next batch will be in June 2019. I asked several different officials there and they all told me that.

Secondly Abuja camp members the last day of camp is now on Monday the 3rd of November instead of the 5th. so please tell anyone that is not staying in camp that they need to go on Monday not Wednesday next week. Note this change is only for the Kubwa camp in Abuja and won't affect any other camp.
