Dear Gazzuzz sir, I won't even try reverting to full synthetic oil. The previous owner used 20w50, so i believed i inherited part of this sludge

A gallon of mobil1 will cause this engine to throw a rod in less than 500miles

I bought it Nigerian used, No thermostat. What would you rather do sir, if have suck level of sludge in ur engine?

If I were you, I wouldn't bother removing this level of sludge.

My Toyota Matrix 06: Seahorse 20w50 wants to damage my engine. I normally serviced at every 2500miles. I opened my valve cover to change a damaged vave cover seal. I almost cried seeing how sludge has over taken my engine. After changing d seal, i bought engine flush, poured it & idled d car for 5mins, drained d oil, opened d sump & brought out d engine screen (filter) i bought fuel & all were thoroughly cleaned together with d valve cover. Coupled back, bought external filter & serviced with total quartz 5000 20w50. This engine strong aswear, it still runs & responds fine with AC.
Pls how do i clean this mess to ensure my engine is clean again? I will be changing this oil again in june (2months). Attached is d opened engine top, d valve cover & d engine bottom.

Buy, perforate the soap carton front and back liberally so as to allow air get to the soap, and put at any convenient place in your car.. For me, it's in one of my car's cupholders..

A guy I know also cut it into pieces and tied it in two small bag he made out of a normal nose mask and tied it to two of his car AC vents... So once his car AC is on, it's blowing Irish Spring fragrance steady

I have been using Irish Spring Soap as my car fragrance for close to a year..

It lasts far longer and smells far better than other car air fresheners like Abro, those diffuser oils, etc.

Abro Organic used to be nice and long-lasting until men started importing the fake ones and pushed the original out of the market.. Now most abros hardly give out scent after a week.

Pls i need advise, I went for transmission oil change for my Toyota Matrix 2005, i requested that my mecho to used type T-IV but he said all d ones around are fake. He ended up using Total dextron 3 mv. Immediately after change, an error code P2716 popped up after scanning. This error wasn't there originally.

Is there anything to worry about, is my transmission safe?

Check vacuum pipes, then carry out dynamic balancing on the engine mount.

To carry out dynamic balancing, slacken the bolts holding ALL mounts, start the car, engage R, D, N and P. Then tighten ALL bolts. If this doesn’t solve the problem, then GOBE.

By the way, was this car ever involved in a collision?

No collision whatsoever, it was running smoothly prior this issues.

It will try out d dynamic balancing, it makes sense to me. I once had this same vibration issue in d past, that was i replaced d rear & front mounts & d vibrations disappeared. Now it resurfaced again.

For your 1st code, your thermostat has been removed and fan running constantly.
Your 2nd code has to do with your EVAP system. Your technician might have missed one of the vacuum hose or fixed it wrongly while replacing your air filter. Also check if your vacuum hose is leaking or taped with black tape. Replace if bad.

Did you replace your engine mounts with used one, or you changed just the rubber bushings? I suspect your engine mounts to be culprit for the engine vibration.

For the vibration above 100km, take your car to an alignment shop and have the tires balanced.

The engine mounts are compete new ones, they're neither old nor bushing pressed into them.

My Toyota Matrix 2006 engine vibrates excessively even at 730rpm wen on D & R but smoothens out on N. Again, my confusion is, it runs very steadily on 900 to 1000rpm even on D & R.

Scanned & got these codes only:
1. P0128
2. P0441

Previous repairs: Engine mounts rear & front replaced, replaced air filter & cleaned throttle body & car has been driven more than 300miles since then. All coil are brand new, all iridium spark plugs look ok upon inspection, Change cold start switch.

Secondly, wen travelling on highway, the floorboard of the car vibrates excessively only wen i step on d gas pedal wen at 100km/hr & above. Below 100km, it runs & accelerate very fine even under heavy throttle.

Wen descending from hill with very light press on d gas pedal, it can speed up to 120km without vibration, but as soon as i throttle heavily, it starts shaking excessively.

So i try to maintain 100km/hr throughout my journey.

I need help pls.

Start by replacing all ur oxygen sensors. If there are two or four, replace all. Also replace your coolant temperature sensor. You can also replace your egr valve. All these sensors directly impacts your fuel consumption & engine performance.

Just buy & replace, no repair story. Your car will be fine. You can then gradually look into the remaining later with peace of mind
