9ise:This is not true. Confirm from the actual person. No one has received interview invitation mail pls. |
Eeeeeeeeee:Christmas break could be the reason they had that extra month. Everything should be concluded this February i guess |
officialchikzy0:It's either the results so far for those who had written weren't satisfactory or they needed more candidates. Agbara factory & flowers gate sagamu factory. Three sections - production, engineering & QA |
Dear @Gazzuzz & other car enthusiasts. I drive a Toyota Matrix 2006. Got it as a Nigeria used 2yrs ago. The previous owner was using mobile 20w50 for servicing which I used just once b4 prices of oil skyrocketed. I then switched to seahorse 20w50 routinely changed after every 2000miles. I went to service again yesterday & I saw a guy servicing his Toyota Corolla 06 with total quartz 7000 10w40 & he said his car has been fine with it over d years. I am currently having a second thought of switching permanently to that total quartz 7000 10w40 & extend servicing time to about 4000miles. Though price is around 16k. Will there be any harm to my engine doing this? |
celestial1:Gales is a very good battery. I have been using it for years. |

Is ABS not part of braking system? So why can't it scan ABS? SRS is also part of steering system too but can't scan air bag Why @gazzuzz |
ayanjamz:Big man! I don't leave my car unattended when Mechanic is working on it & they don't like me for that. No matter the trust u have on them, stay with them, you can even gain some knowledge that will be useful to u at home some day |
Jamal64:Check your sway bar is not broken & ensure the sway bar bushings are not worn. Worn ball joints will pull ur steering to either right or left even without applying d brakes. |
Diploma in Engineering, is it OND or HND? Though i applied with HND & i was sent a regret mail. |
Gluck4cars:Thanks for you response sir. The actual code is P0128 (coolant temperature below thermostat regulating temperature) My catalyst is in tact. The codes were there since i got d car. |
Dear cars enthusiasts, I want to knw if my Toyota matrix 06 fuel consumption is fair. On a full tank of 50litrs, what get is 250miles, city diving only (school, church, market etc). AC is on 80% of the time. Only two codes on d car: P0128(catalyst efficiency below threshold. P01441(evaporative emission leaks). Should i bother abi make i still dey touch touch? I am planning to replace my upstream & downstream oxygen sensors, though no code from both sensors. Best Regards. |
oride:OK |

Dear car enthusiasts, I have a Toyota matrix 2006, at 80km/hr & above, there is this humming sound from under d hood, very distinct at d persengers side, i already replaced the suspected damaged hub (complete unit with bearing). Humming sound has reduced but still being heard at high speed, i am thinking it's from the power steering, the oil seems dirty & contaminated. I am planning to flush with the attached atf. Please i need advice, are these atf recommended? |
GAZZUZZ:Wao! Thanks GAZZUZZ. THAT means no harm to d transmission in d long run if it's done d regular way without draining completely from d torque converter? |
Conner44:I had a discussion with someone about transmission oil change & he mentioned something that i felt i should bring here for knowledge sharing. He said what most mechanic do wen changing transmission oil is to drain & probably loosen out d filter, clean with petrol, install back & refill with new oil. He then mentioned that even wen u thought u had drained d entire oil, d torque converter still contains d old oil up to 4litres, that in d end, d old oil in d torque converter mixes with d new oil & it will appear you haven't done any oil change at all. That there's a procedure for evacuating oil from d torque converter that most mechanic don't know. How true is this my people, @gazzuz & other automobile veterans here. |
Out of d two positions; Trainee Operator or Trainee Technician, which is better to apply for? Can those whose NYSC discharge certificate where gotten before 2018 still try their luck? Experience guys or those currently working there can really advice us Regards. |
Kay25:Scan |
Scan ur car, if doesn't bring out P0420(catalytic efficiency below threshold) or catalyst related code, then it's intact. If ur exhaust system is good, don temper with it just because u want to check if cat is present or not. |
1. Change your Transmission oil twice after running the engine in a 1 day interval. With Toyota TIV. Pic below, sellers number 08033910382. 2. You have a leaking exhaust, find it and fix it. Thanks a bunch Gazzuzz. |
Good morning Gazzuzz & every auto enthusiast here present. I am faced with these two confusing situations: 1. I have a Toyota matrix 2006, i discovered upon routine check on my transmission oil that it's brownish in colour & it's sticky and a little bit viscous. The transmission oil has never been changed since i bought it, 2½yrs now. Though d shifting is excellent, very smooth, no clunck noise when put in Drive & Reverse. Am really enjoying it. Pls do u guys advice i change the transmission oil? If YES, what is the OEM recommended transmission oil for my car? 2. I also discovered that there's no catalyst in my car & d exhaust noise is a little bit high upon slight throttle. I like a quiet ride especially in my street . Since d sound is always heard at d tail of d exhaust, i am planning to attach a double walled exhaust tip muffler. Pls will this have any back pressure effect or any damage to my engine?
