Go to youtube and search for the language you want to learn and learn it ... I learnt c# for game design purposes I have been on it for about 1year and a half it's Abit cumbersome becasues there are many things to learn with game design but let me give you one programmer secret,

Programmers are the greatest googlers they learn the syntax and then when they need a function to be integrated they google it making it easier to get the job done. Go to youtube and search for girrafe academy and binge watch the hell out of which ever language you want to learn . And practice along ... In no time you will be having an evening chat with your computer like you do with your friends .
