In as much as it is advisable to apply to more than one school to determine the level of your seriousness by the VO...I still believe everything solely depends on luck. I applied to one school and my visa was softly approved. If you still have more time to apply to another school before having your interview, kindly do and tell the VO that you're still waiting for their response.
This visa of a thing is not about the credentials you have or how well you have prepared for the interview. Please remain calm and don't talk too much to prove a point during your interview. Pray for God's will to be done if you believe in Him. I wish you nothing but success.

I have another question. For the questions "How many schools did you apply to" and "Which schools?" Is there a way for the VO to verify how many and which schools I applied to?

I applied to only one school, but I don't know if this will put the VO off.

The sevis fee is 350 dollars. I'm very sure CMU sent you the link on how you can register and pay for the sevis fee. I heard someone paid it in Union bank at Badagry but most applicants get someone to pay it for them in the states.

I am going for a professional master in health administration from Food science as first degree!

Though, I heard of GA, that only allows me to pay same fee as other local students.

I have applied, awaiting theirs response but then my I-20 has been shipped.

It is mandatory for you to pay the sevis fee before the interview. Did CMU give you full or part funding? It doesn't really matter how many schools you applied to if you can defend yourself well but it's advisable you apply to more than one school and write either IELTS or TOEFL.

I paid with my credit card. They accept both the cash and credit card.

Hello guys, visa was approved yesterday. I would have loved to give back to this great group more than what the group has offered me by sharing my transcript here but they did not ask me formal questions apart from what course am l going for in a friendly way and no documents asked for (...my best and easiest interview so far I must confess).
