PoliticsRe: Did You See The Mistake On The Ministerial List Sent To The Senator Saraki? (Pic by dialfa: 8:07am On Oct 14, 2015
midolian:
So?

Even in the U.S constitution, there are errors, let alone Nigerian ministerial list that was hastily typed and submitted. The word "Pennsylvania" is spelled with a single "n", "Pensylvania" in the U.S constitution.

Another mistake, though less obvious, is a common one even today: the word "it's" is used in Article 1, Section 10, but the word "its" should have been used.

The most common mistake, at least to modern eyes, is the word "choose," spelled "chuse" several times. This is less a mistake than it is an alternate spelling used at the time. The word is found in the Constitution as both "chuse" and "chusing."....etc

http://www.usconstitution.net/constmiss.html

You guys better look for errors that are powerful enough to increase fuel price, reduce power supply and increase insurgency.
Really? You are comparaing your president to 400 year old pre historic men?

Curlieweed:
I'm Igbo and my ancestors rejected kings. I just gave the French example for illustration.
We have always had hierarchies and leaders in our Igbo society. These leaders, you may say, were not as ruling as kings in other cultures did. They were more spiritual leaders than political leaders. Eze Nri was one of those. He was in fact the highest ranking of Igbo leaders but HE DOESN'T MAKE ANY LAWS. We are republicans.
We cannot reject our kings as the french did theirs because we didn't have political ruling kings like the french. We respect and honour our Ezes but owe them no allegiance.

My ancestors rejected them and I reject them also. Liberty only started flourishing in the West when they rejected the "divine right" of kings. Read about the french revolution.

I don't understand all this pointless argument about silly relics. Personally, I hate all kings.

I hold the quote below to be true.

Man will never be free until the last king is strangled with the entrails of the last priest.
