Kidnappers/Killers of Elder Oriji Nnadi about to be set free on a Flimsy Deal On the 3rd of October 2015,Late Elder Oriji Nnadi was kidnapped by Cultist from his home town in Obagi,Ogba-Egbema Local Government Area and taken to a hideout in Abua,Abua Local Government Area Rivers State. The Kidnappers began negotiation with the Family,demanding for ransom,and after the payment of ransom for the release of the 92 year Old,unknown to the Family,the Kidnappers had already buried the great grand pa. It was later discovered that the old man died in the hands of his abductors. Unfortunately for the Kidnappers,their contact line was being tracked when they were negotiating with the family Investigation was later carried out by the Federal Special Anti Robbery squad,Rivers State Command and on the 8th of February 2016,the prime Suspect identified as Mr Vincent Odum was arrested at a Hotel in Aluu,Ikwerre Local Government Area Rivers State. The Prime Suspect identified as Vincent Odum was alleged to have been the mastermind of various Kidnapping activities alongside members of his gang in Egi,Ogba Egbema-Ndoni Local Government Area Rivers State. Vincent Odum's gang is the Greenlanders After intense Investigation by combined team of State Security Services(SSS) and the Special anti Robbery Squad,the prime Suspect named his accomplice in the Kidnap of Elder Nnadi,whose name was given as Osi Benson from Obagi community a nearby community in Egi Land who was in detention in SARS Facilities in Erema. During Investigation ,the Suspects confessed that the Late Pa Oriji died before ransom was paid,and after collecting ransom,the buried him in a Shallow grave in a Hide-Out Located inside the forest in Abua -Odua Local Government Area Rivers State. The Suspects later took the Combined Team of DSS,ARMY and FSARS to the shalo grave where Late Pa Oriji Nnadi was buried,the body was deposited at the Military Hospital Porthacourt and on the Thursday 8th December 2016,his remains was laid to rest at his Compound in Obagi ,Onelga Local Government Area Rivers State. Police with the Prime Suspect at a Forest in Abua where they buried the Late Elder Nnadi in a Shalow Grave Investigation by PUO METRO has revealed that some Forces from Egi Land led by the King are currently pressuring the Family of the Lade Elder Oriji Nnadi to sign a Paper stating that they have Forgiven the Killers now in Prison Custody,in a bid to ensure the Cultist is released from Prison Custody. PUO METRO exclusively gathered that the pressure being mounted at the Family Members were part of the Deal reached between a faction of Cultists in Egi Clan before they accepted the amnesty Programme of the Rivers State Government and the members of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Egi Land are the ones ensuring that the Family members Sign,so the dirty deal can be achieved. It was gathered that some of the Children of the Late Elder Nnadi because of threat to their Lives are almost accepting to sign the purported agreement. Elder Gilberts second son Mr Nnadi Ikechi was almost killed in an attack as part of the threats to the family members. The names of the Egi peace committee members were gathered by PUO METRO to be : Chief Uzondu,- Eze Egi ,Azubike Dibia-- Ochioha Oboburu( The suspect) elder brother , Daniel Ikeagwu-- AKA Nbacho, and one Amirize Collins who recently defected from the All Progressive Congress to the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) The Shalow grave where the late Elder was buried by the Cultists It was further learnt that Chief Uzondu,- eze egi major interest for the release of the Cult boys relates to the battle for the Egi Stool,as it is being rumored that he needs the services of the boys as his stool is in contention with one Chief Egbo. Sure the courts in Rivers state were shutdown for about a year due to an indefinite strike embarked by the Rivers State branch of the Judiciary staffs as a result of conflicting interest on who heads the Judiciary in Rivers state, while Ameachi made his appointment based on his constitutional rights, Wike with his Abuja connections were manipulating the NJC, I am sure you know the details of happened then if only you will be truthful to yourself, you will get the real story. refreshrate: 2 Likes |

Setting up of CTC in Rivers State illegal Reports just received by the Rivers State Chapter of All Progressives Congress, APC, allege that the Governor of Rivers State, Barr Nyesom Wike last night appointed and swore in Caretaker Committees for 22 Local Government Councils in Rivers State presumably based on the illegal pronouncements of Federal High Court I sitting in Port Harcourt and presided over by Justice Lambo Akanbi yesterday. The APC would like to unequivocally state that the aforementioned judgment by Justice Akanbi yesterday was illegal and, to that extent, unacceptable to the APC. Our rejection of that illegal judgment is based on facts. Firstly, on the 29th of April, Justice Lambo Akanbi acknowledged that he was on notice that the jurisdiction of his Court was on appeal by Counsel to the RSIEC and Rivers State Government and therefore adjourned the matter before him sine die pending the outcome of the appeal. Consequently, all parties retreated to wait for the decision of the Court of Appeal fixed for 12th October for which all parties are already on hearing notice. Secondly, the application to join by the APC which Justice Akanbi turned down was appealed and that appeal is still pending at the Court of Appeal. Thirdly, there is a subsisting court Order in Suit No: NICN/YEN/26/2015 by the National Industrial Court, Yenagoa preventing the Governor and other parties from undertaking any action to dissolve the 23 Councils and/or remove the Chairmen and Councillors from office and both courts have co-ordinate jurisdiction. Therefore, the APC believes that Justice Akanbi cannot reverse his earlier decision to adjourn sine die and reopen the matter without the Court of Appeal dispensing with the matter of jurisdiction before it and other pending appeals followed by service of hearing notice to all parties in the matter. Based on these facts, the APC rejects the illegal judgment purportedly given yesterday by Justice Akanbi dissolving Local Government Councils in Rivers State. We therefore urge the Council Chairmen, Councillors and members to reject and not to recognise anyone parading himself/herself/themselves as Caretaker Chairmen and members in the 22 Local Government Councils. By this publication, the APC would like to also call on the Inspector-General of Police, the Director-General of the DSS, the Rivers State Commissioner of Police and all other security agencies to be on notice to continue to provide security for the duly elected Chairmen and Councillors as the only legitimate persons in charge of the 23 Local Councils of Rivers State. People should stop commenting on every thread without facts, the LGA Secretariats were not sealed because the APC is in-charge in the Federal level, they were sealed to forestall breakdown of law and for security purpose, the judge that ruled the case already adjourned Sine Die in April 29 because the jurisdiction of the FHC to entertain the matter involving the state electoral body has been appealed, so turning around to give judgement when the court of Appeal had adjourned till October is wrong. anyaikenga: 1 Like 1 Share |
