All politicians are after is money in their pockets for abroad trips with their families. Everything else is a joke until it involves them. You see how #endsars was responded to fast? It was because it was directly aimed at them. But now it's the poor and middle class that's suffering it, so they won't take it seriously.
Foreign AffairsRe: Fear Of Houthis: Many Vessels Declare No Link To Israel On AIS by Dicado: 9:35pm On Jan 21, 2024
owagbeba:
Many vessels plying the Red Sea have resulted to declaring “No Link to Israel “ on the AIS despite the American-led operation against the Houthis.

It’s crucial for the US government to understand that the fear of American big guns is waning. Nations in the axis of resistance have understood that the American-led power bloc have no clue on how to fight asymmetric war.

And the idea of moving a big fat target (aircraft carrier) to every theatre of war May one day result to a disastrous end of American power reign - a sunk hegemon.
No you're wrong. People actually fear the US guns. But it depends on who is there as the president. If somehow somebody like Trump becomes the US president again, you'll see how everywhere will be calm, awaiting for the next weak government. Trump is more proactive, he attacks before your planned attack takes place. Biden warned the Houthis for 3 months, before finally moving the US military there. Trump would have placed the guns on you even before you think about pressing the button. So, US is still very powerful and even twice more powerful than we thought. If you're following world news you'll see that these guys are actually controlling the world.

Biden is a product of Obama and these guys are somewhat behind some jihad terrorists. But Trump is against anything that bears the jihad symbol as terrorism. So, don't expect anybody to be afraid of his brother.

How many Houthis leaders have been killed? None! Trump went as far as killing a terrorist leader in Iraq and it silenced the whole trouble that would have happened in the entire middle East then.

Everybody knows that Biden is seeking for a second tenure and doesn't have the guts to do any serious military operations...

So, yeah! It will appear like the US is weak.

Foreign AffairsRoot Of Insecurity In Nigeria Not Security Sector's Fault by Dicado(op): 9:15pm On Jan 21, 2024
The root of Insecurity in Nigeria is bad governance. For those of you thinking that the military or service chiefs are not doing their job well and that the president should restructure the security sector, I think you should look into the matter critically again.

First, there's much pressure on the security sector because of the failure in good governance. Secondly, Nigeria is not the only country facing security challenges due to economic crises. Even the US and other powerful nations military are facing the same pressure on their military either internally or externally due to failure in global politics.

The thing is, our own problems were already there but the international economic problem which skyrocketed after COVID-19 and war between Russia and Ukraine, worsened our own problems, such that there are delays in international supplies due to longer route taken to avoid conflict, etc.

Now, here in Nigeria, instead of addressing key issues troubling our economy, we divert our attention to an irrelevant sector and put pressure on it. During Buhari's tenure, the CBN has to change many policies to address the failed governance.

Now again, instead of looking for ways to address the issues troubling the economy we're now concentrating on the security sector and even calling them a failed system, it would have been unnecessary if things were going fine.

Electricity alone can create at least ten million jobs every month but does Nigeria have steady power supply such that someone can conveniently have faith in it and rely on it? No! Our manufacturing industry can't function without electricity. Even hospitals, technical schools, security, media, etc. can't function properly without electricity in this modern era. In fact, electricity stability should have been the priority of any serious government followed by education.

Proper Education alone can create 6 million jobs per month. But do we even invest in our education? No. Instead our leaders use public fund to send their children to school abroad. You can't expect to run a smooth country on higher illiterate brains than the illiterate ones. Well educated minds won't indulge in crime, instead, they would strive for excellence and Job creation in the society but you can't even create a good job if the power sector is not working well. Some people can't start some business just because they can't afford AC generators, etc. going back to education, most terrorist individuals or even general criminals in our society lacked education. What happens in our universities is that most people went there for certification rather than the knowledge, that's why sorting is higher down there. Now tuition fees are gradually becoming unaffordable, such that some parents are now pushing their younger ones to the farm because they're now fighting for survival. To make matters worse, the little educated ones who would have developed the country are leaving the country in mass because of the nature of the unfriendly environment, now the number of the illiterate ones may be too massive to handle themselves. Could be a bomb when it start dawning on them (when they see death in their face and nature is forcing them to survive, because suffering is naturally painful). Let's forge ahead.

Standard health facilities can generate billions of dollars per month because even foreigners (including foreign presidents) would be admitted here in our Nigerian hospital if things were working. But who cares about this sector? Also, locally made medicinal drugs can boost our health system. But it all boils down to manufacturing because you still need electricity to drive some of the machines that can produce these things efficiently in international standards.

So, in summary, there will be more pressure on the security sector such that the security sector can't handle the problem because it will be overwhelming for them, and sadly it's heading towards there.

My advice to our leaders is that we're all Nigerians! This is your home and if you care about the peace of your children and the next generation, this is the time to build and not to steal, because it may get to the time that you may be on exile or live in fear in your very own indigenous home. But if you make things right, you'll be very proud of yourself in the coming days and your name will live on even up to the next 1000 generations. Let's end tribalism. Please, let's start working for a real change and not a fake one. Thank you!

@Mods put this in the right section. Thank you!

Europe and US created the state of Israel and you think anyone will ever win it in a war?
State of Israel was the solution to the Europe Jewish problem
So Europe and US will do everything possible to make it remain so if they dont want a repeat of the flooding of Europe by jews
It's either you don't know history you just hate Israel. That the state of Israel as a modern recognised country was established in the 90s doesn't mean that that's when Israel as a people and culture popped into existence or that UK and US sent some of their citizens to go and settle there in the 90s.

This is just same as the Yorubas, Igbos or Hausas who are already existing in Nigeria. But if one among them become a nation today, it doesn't mean that that is when they pop into existence or that another tribe came from somewhere to form let's say the Hausa Republic. It's still the indigenous peoples of that tribe that will inherit the new nation.

You can read the history of Israel from ancient times up till date here https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_ancient_Israel_and_Judah
Foreign AffairsRe: Global Support For Israel Plummets Amid Gaza War, New Data Reveals by Dicado: 11:31am On Jan 20, 2024
We have seen right in history where many nations are not in support of Israel and even come against them but up till now Israel prevails and that will not change soon. Israel will prevail and it doesn't matter what any nation thinks. They must never let their enemy live to destroy them.

I stand with Israel and there's nothing anyone can do about it.
Foreign AffairsRe: Netanyahu Rejects US Calls For Palestinian State After Gaza War by Dicado: 11:52am On Jan 19, 2024
I beginning to think that the Democrats actually wants to keep Israel at war with the Palestinians. Give them sovereignty and Israel suffers war almost every hour, let to say day. When Trump was there, his support for Israel and bitterness against terrorism actually prevented wars. But during the times of Obama and Biden, Israel suffered bitter wars.

Even Iran threw its ego under the carpet but came back to full glory as soon as Biden took over.

I don't know but I'm suspecting the Democrats in manipulating wars in order to keep world population in check. I think these Democrat guys are the tool of the "new world order" cult. They're actually working as expected .

Our coach no fit motivate our players like our home coach. Imagine if it was somebody like Kanu or Okocha that was there as the coach... Players go dey motivated. This is what's keeping Europeans and Americans at the top in football. They always always bring in past players to either work as the coach or with the coaches in order to motivate players in their national teams. Here they silence you if they know you won't be playing football politics.

Foreign AffairsRe: US And UK Carry Out Strikes Against Iran-Backed Houthis In Yemen by Dicado: 6:00am On Jan 12, 2024
Arab people are the same everywhere. The thing is, I don't know exactly what gives them mind for suicide. Starting a war that you obviously know that you can't win with a winning mindset is becoming very laughable. In this particular one, no UN will scream for help or ceasefire because it appears the UN itself is attacked.

Muhammad being an Arab started Islam with Arab mentality of taking over the whole world but got defeated halfway. So, I'm not surprised if history is about to repeat itself. But what I'm very sure of is that things are not normal after a war.

As for the man saying that these armies will pay with a big price for attacking their thrones in Yemen, I think he meant the kind of price that the Gazans are paying now (that is firing them with their expensive weapons).

MT:
The US and the UK can strike the Houthis in Yemen at any moment.

Sunak, UK PM, has already briefed his cabinet and moved military assets to the red sea.

The EU are considering sending military assets too.

The US has promised to counter the Houthis, and already deployed lot of her naval destroyers to the red sea.

However, the Houthis remains defiant and promise to attack both the US and the UK

You can actually mess with the US and they overlook it but not the UK.

But I think these guys have a bigger plan. Maybe they just want to drag these guys to war to further weaken their support for Ukraine. The same idea worked in Gaza. Who knowshuh

PoliticsRe: EFCC Releases Betta Edu On Bail by Dicado: 9:55am On Jan 10, 2024
As usual. This will encourage other criminals in the public space to continue stealing.

As a public office holder in China, if you're caught laundering public funds, you'll be sent to jail without any bail option.

I think we should do that in Nigeria. No bail for any politician who is convicted of a crime. They must be made to serve their sentence in prison fully.

That's the only way that Nigerian politicians will learn to avoid stealing.

So, now, what's the point if she can set herself free?

CrimeRe: We’ll Investigate You, Nobody Is Too Big To Be Investigated— EFCC Boss Says by Dicado: 9:45am On Jan 10, 2024
Investigation is not a punishment for a crime. I think public office holders who indulge in crime should not be given bail like the Chinese do. They should be made to serve their full term in jail. That's the only way to stop others from going down that path.
