Mi o f’owo kan iyalaya e se ... lol AcuraZDX: A woman is seeking for help from the public in order to do DNA test that will prove her father. The 22-year-old lady identified as Prieska Matshwi from Tembisa, Ekurhuleni, South Africa, is looking for help to show that Sunday Lebea (47) is her father.
“I grew up without a father and my mother never said anything about who my father was. “But in 2007, people back home in Ga-Ramodumo Village, Limpopo started saying Sunday was my father,” said Prieska. She said she got his contact details from someone in the village and called him, but he dismissed her claims. Eleven years later, Prieska’s mother finally confirmed the claims. But Sunday is denying it all.
He admitted he knew Prieska’s mother, but only as a neighbour. “I never slept with the woman. I don’t remember even touching her, so I don’t know how I fathered a child with her,” said Sunday. “I got a call from Prieska in 2007 and thought it was someone playing a prank on me. I was surprised when I got another call from her.” Makoma Lebea, Sunday’s wife, said they started dating in 1995.
“This child is 22 years old, meaning if she’s really his, he cheated on me back then. I just want a paternity test to be done so we can know the truth,” said Makoma.

Good one but, not a total coverage! Badagry was not featured so also is Ijora (badia and olopa). What about Iba even though ojo was mentioned. Then Mafoluku, almighty oshodi, Mushin olosha, makoko, palmgrove onipanu, Berger, isolo, ejigbo, Ajangbadi, Abule Egba, Alakuko, Meiran, oyingbo... just for a mention! Lazyreporta: On the Island of the affluent in Lagos, I rarely hear aircraft buzzing in the sky, except the posh helicopters of the busy rich. The airport and flight noise don’t affect the airspace, it only devalues the land.
The rich pretend to pray, but God is on the Mainland, land on the island is too expensive to build many worship centers.
The Island was not built for Beer. It is the hub of champagne, spirits, and wines. Beer is for the road, an appetizer bottled on the Mainland.
The Mainland is crowded with families. Life on the island has no friends. Everything is cash or ‘waka’. The roads are expensively tolled, the schools are US ‘Dollard’, and a smile might cost some ‘Nairas’.
The Island expands while the Mainland remains the same. Under neon lights, millions of Mainland ‘ants’ trample on the Third Mainland Bridge into the Island of their dreams. Many die on the bridge, many earn a kobo, and many rob the others. 1
The Island goes to the Mainland, only to fly. Life on the mainland has many tribes. Bad roads and traffic jamborees in Enugu suburbs like Ago and Okota would eventually pursue ‘Omo Igbo’ to the East. The smart ones live in Yoruba neighborhoods, like itire, with Chinese constructed drainages. Sharp guys have moved into Surulere, the Governor’s neighborhood and the best place to drink. The number of youths in Festac makes one wonder if they ate their parents for dinner.
Ketu is a gang of Yoruba women hustling to breathe. Ikorodu can be great if it gets a bridge into the island. Yaba is the link between books, Aristos, ‘White House’ and an infamous Psyche ward (Yaba-left).yaba
Sex is on Allen, tax is a joyride at Alausa. Obanikoro is the name of a man on the Island and a place in the Mainland. Everything on the Mainland is made in Ilupeju, Ogba, Isolo, Agidingbi, and Oregun. Agbara is not on the Mainland, it’s in Ogun state, like Mowe and Ibafo.
Everything on the Island is imported from the Mainland ports of Apapa and Tin Can. The sound of Mazamaza and Okokomaiko can cure madness. Homes in Idi-Araba are waiting to collapse, thank God for LUTH; Igbobi’s Orthopedics is not too far away.
There is a Lagos state University campus in every Mainland corner; the main campus and a military cantonment are at Ojo. Musicians from Mushin and Ajegunle have monopolized the sympathy of poverty, while Egbeda and Ikotun get no pity. If eyes are closed in Agege and Iddo when a train passes, one can pretend to be in Grand Central Station. 3Gbagadans usually pretend to be on the Island, but Oworonshoki can’t get away with such lies. Ogudu GRA insists on being distinct from a conjoined Ojota, while Amuwo-Odofin calls itself Festac Extension.
Iju and Ojodu villages are hyped by estate agents. Ebute-Metta is an old Yoruba phrase: “A place of three shores.” It is a decaying dream of British colonialism and Brazilian architecture.
Most of the residents of Magodo and Omole are Landlords. Maryland is not a saint and Anthony is not a Village. Igando and Ipaja are playing catching up with the state government.
Ikeja is the official capital of Lagos. The State House is on the Island, where the real capital is. Lagos deserves a special status in the constitution.index
On the Island, money has relatives. Ikoyi and Victoria Island are twin sisters, posh from birth and wrinkled with age. Lekki is a distant cousin, taxing and full of fraudulent schemes. VGC and Eleko are wealthy uncles, isolated from others and always overseas. Nicon and Parkview are the pretty nieces with feigned American and British accents. Oniru and Elegushi are the nephews from the village, who recently found wealth and arrogance. Ajah is the Step-sister, giving birth to children she can’t feed. Jakande and Igbo-Efon are broke In-laws, hardworking but always in need. Ibeju-Lekki and Epe are the Jilted aunts, feeding on promises and searching for suitors. Obalende is the lost brother without a mind, thought to be dead. Eko, Idumota, and Marina are Triplets of Royal descents, with trade on their minds, and power between their legs. Maroko is the baby that was aborted at Midterm. Makoko is the dirty bastard that wouldn’t disappear. Eko Atlantic City has recently left the incubator, hoping to survive. Many other siblings are just occupying space and causing traffic jams on the Island of the rich.
This is how I know I’m not on the Island: service attendants begging for money; Lastma officials lurking behind traffic lights; Dunghill switch is everywhere, and I can’t get an Iota of decency.

This is so bad. Although it looks like you don’t have any document given to you to outrightly notify you about being banned, but that’s most likely what it is for you right now. However the only way you can be in the know of what it is for you is to reapply and of course with legitimate documents this time. I’m sure the visa officer would be able to state it to you if or not you have been banned right there. The fact is that you should prepare your mind that your next application is more or less an exercise through which you want to clear your doubts about being banned and NOT an attempt to see if you would be granted your visa because you will NOT be granted the visa on your next application no matter how hard you try. After you have found out your stand about the implication of the fake bank document, then you can follow the appeal process should it turn out that you have actually been banned or keep trying to reapply and writing the full explanation on the section on why you were refused the visa in your previous application , if you have not been banned. To appeal the ban, you would need to work with a lawyer and be determined to pursue it to the loose ends. It would be tough and stressful but if you have the dream or desire to really get educated in the United States , it would be something to try. Otherwise completely look away and try other countries. In all no one knows how things would turn tomorrow and you could still make it down to the US even after the ban. Bans last for 10 years and there’s no guarantee your sins would be forgotten even after the duration of the ban! It is well! steinmajor: Hello house! Please I need help from those who have been through what I'm experiencing at the moment. My interview was on July 25th in Abj. I was placed on Administrative Processing for nearly two weeks and when I checked the CEAC site on the 6th of August I saw 'Refused'. I felt really bad, can't lie about that but I didn't know the scary part was incoming. I went to pick up my passport and besides the pink paper, there was this white paper attached and there was one part where "Fake bank documents" was handwritten. My uncle who's also my sponsor kept assuring me that the statement of account was legit even though I asked him twice before I was refused. I can swear anyday, anytime that I had no idea the statement wasn't legit. Throughout my school days I no even get mind carry expo enter exam hall not to talk of presenting an altered statement of account to the US embassy that is thorough. I don't have one fraudulent bone in me. The problem is I don't know if I have been banned cos the VO warned me I'd be banned if the statement isn't authentic. Please what do I do now? I'm so confused and in a very bad place right now. The US embassy is not a place you can walk in to iron issues out. I sent a mail several days ago and still no reply. Some people are encouraging me not to wait too long before trying again so I wouldn't look guilty (with a different sponsor tho). Others think I should just give it time before trying again so I don't look suspicious when I bring two different statement of accounts from different sponsors within a short period of time. Please anybody with an idea should feel free to chip in. If you have been through something similar and you don't want to say anything here, please email me. I feel lost right now. Don't put out unnecessary words out there. The visa officer is not interested in what you do with your time during your holidays in between your study period. His main concern is what your plan is after the completion or duration of your course of study. Saying you plan to return home during the summer expressly means giving yourself away to doubts over your intention. Questions like 'who asked you this?, return home in the summer for what? How does this add to your home tie etc.. arise and there would be no time for the visa officer to ask you these questions, he would only sum it up for you that you are not genuine. It's a clear red flag, over representation and a kind of cover for some lies which nobody has accused you of yet which can force the white paper out untimely. Go in with your study plan and be coherent plus believable. Gabbybanks: As international student applying for study visa. Does telling the VO that I have plans of returning in the summer help my case? Also does it put any limitations to the type of visa I get. Will I be mandated to return during the summer if I decide not to return as promised? |

I suppose you don't know what EAD is and means. It is given to residence of the US only. You have to be inside the US to apply for. The categories of people who can apply for it include K-1 fiance visa holders, asylees, people with a pending application for adjustment of status (a green card) spouses of various visa holders, people with Temporary Protected Status (TPS) or Deferred Enforced Departure (DED), F-1 students experiencing economic hardship or seeking optional practical training (OPT), and so on. neurosci: Experienced guys in the US, do you think it is advisable to apply for Employment Authorization Document (EAD) on the basis of financial challenge? Will this not come back to haunt you when you want to renew your visa? I'm thinking that once the visa officer discovers that you applied for EAD on the basis of economic challenge, he or she will conclude that you do not have enough financial resources to support yourself, therefore your visa renewal application may be denied? What do you think, guys? Has anyone here applied for EAD on the basis of financial challenge? |

There is a process to paying the SEVIS fee in itself. The applicant or whoever wants to pay has to go on the fmjfee site and put in his or payment information viz-a-viz first and last name, school's sevis number, date of birth ... and then a receipt/ page would be generated. This will carry the western union account information to be paid to... This is to be printed out and taken to the western union shop for the payment. The agent will need sender's ID and that account information and it will be instantly processed. Timotee: I thought I'll chip in a few points to help guys who intend to pay their SEVIS fee through western union. You have to know the name of the recipient that you're paying it to to make for a successful transfer. The irony however, is that western union doesn't have SEVIS listed as a recipient on their system. So if you tell a western union agent who is not familiar with SEVIS that you want to pay your SEVIS fee, he won't be able to find SEVIS on the system. On the western union system, the recipient for SEVIS fee is saved as "US Bank DHS". So if you go to pay your SEVIS fee using western union, the recipient should be "US Bank DHS". Hope this helps folks who want to use western union to pay their SEVIS fee. |

Go ahead and follow up with the F2 process. When you are called up for interview, just speak the absolute truth only. You have nothing to hide or any reason to tell lies. I believe you will be granted. You just have to keep faith and remain positive. You will need your child's birth payment receipts though. Your wife has to show that the birth was paid for without any public fund. That way, the visa officer won't hold that against you. I wish you the best! naijatisumi: Dear All please i need a little clarification about my next plans. Dont mind my typo error please God bless
I'm a staff of Access Bank who has worked for 5yrs and i applied for f1 VISA last year 5times but was denied VISA even after trying to convince the VO i will be coming back to the country. However my wife got her VISA the second time and now the rest is history as she's now doing her MSC in the state doing this period my wife was pregnant and she eventually gave birth in the US last year.
Please note that she is a registered student, who make payments, attend class and all. As such she apply for medical which was granted as same was backed with insurance and all. My challenge now is have started my MSC programme in Nigeria but have not set eyes on my baby since she was giving birth to plus the emotional stress on my wife she wants me over for a visit atleast to check upp on my baby as well. As such am planning to apply for F2 VISA we just submitted all required documents and all
My challenge now is that what are my chances of getting an F2 VISA. Note; Before she left she was already bearing my surname and all the document she used there is in my surname and all
I need candid advise please on what to do exactly. My fear is the baby involve tho she was not asked about that when we applied as she was just 2/3month pregnant so it was not obvious she was pregnant or should i not bring up my baby issue at the embassy when i apply. Its more than a year now have not set eyes on my wife and baby. I just planned to see them for my year vacation which is just a month. I will appreciate any advise from everyone as my wife is getting fed up and i intend to bring the baby back pending the time she finished her programme

She doesn't have a US ID yet to make bank transactions. I know she can open a US bank account with her international passport but I am not sure if she would be able to send money with same. However, the fastest way of paying SEVIS fee is via western union and NOT going into a bank and I suppose her Nigerian Passport can suffice for an ID because they would still ask her for an ID at the western union shop. Not everyone understands what SEVIS fee is here. I suppose the black man didn't know what she wanted to pay for. Even at that, bank was a wrong move. There's nothing illegal in it. Even some western union shops or agents don't know what SEVIS fee is as it's not a common or an everyday transaction they see.I hope this helps. Stdannyel: Hello everyone.

So Yes you can have the receipt printed before 7 am Nigerian time. However, the visa officer might not be able to verify if or not you have paid online as it take about 24 to 48hours for it to be activated online. I didn't read this your comment before asking you to email me earlier. One thing you all must know is, there are still few good people around. You all should just learn to find personal conviction within. You can't get anywhere if you sit back and take other people's opinion to form your own hypothesis. Do you know what's involved in helping you pay for SEVIS? It means leaving some time to go to western union shop and do you know it means by " time is money"? You won't understand this till you get here. The stress that would be involved in helping you pay is in itself much in that I would have asked you to go meet someone if you live in lagos, abeokuta or abuja with the naira equivalent and hand it to the person only after i send you the western union receipt and you verify your SEVIS status right there before leaving. All just to put your mind at rest. I know the struggle. See, making it or moving ahead in life involves work, dedication and following matters to the very end and if you remain that man who will not strife or go all out to do what must be done until it is done, you keep being swept here and there by people. It is sad that we are going through this act of seeing a potential suspect in everyone now and I can only ask God to lead everyone right through all their steps and decisions. They sent me a mail asking me to come for another interview making the third time after I was initially rejected making it the third time I am going to the embassy. As anyone been in this situation before? I will be going there again on Thursday and the deadline to enroll is August 16 2018. Now I have limited time. I am also thinking is it possible that the university told them I can no longer enroll being that orientation is today and resumption is officially today. |
