jamson: You need to prove your language proficiency for two reasons:
1. To get assessed by EA -all they need is IELTS (minimum of 6 per band) or TOEFL 2. To submit your EOI with DIPB and gather points for PR purpose (refer to page 1 please!!)-your options here vary;IELTS, PTE, TOEFL, etc
You may decide to use one IELTS result for 1 and 2. OR
Use IELTS for EA assessment and PTE for EOI with DIPB (cos PTE is supposedly easier to pass and thus boost your points)
Again... Please read this thread from back to back and all your questions have been answered over and again Thanks for this.....is very clear now. |

deleyi20: Your major challenge is that you have refused to take out some minutes of your life to do a little research on what you really want... Hence you're here confusing yourself and looking for someone to spoon-feed you with the process...
A lot of relevant information has been written on Page 0 of this thread of what the process entails, Several engineers have also taken their time to post relevant information regarding the EA Assessment process.. All these are exclusive of the abundant information you'll find on their official sites and helpful contents online.
But you have refused to make that decision to just do a little study.
When people start ignoring your questions, you'll begin to wonder... it's a pity I am kinda confused ....buh you are harsh....am preparing for IELTS speaking now....would get back to this and make my research when am back. Thanks. |

Buh.....I know one needs 60point minimum for migration..... Buh what I don't knw is if is DIPB's requirement or EA's requirement.....dats all....anyway...preparing for IELtS speaking now.....would get back to this when am back. |

mctowel01: He has earlier done ielts. Pte was to claim points... Its been said time and time again.. EA doesn't accept PTE. I need clarification on this.....MSA brochure recommended only TOEFL and IELTS for engineers..if one gets the minimum 6.0 across all bands....can one go for PTE to add up to ones IELTS for points? |
