Basically, Marescas game plan is just to have both wingers keep crossing balls into the box so George can compete against more experienced centre-backs. We’ve played over 65 minutes now, and it’s still just cross after cross—hoping for the best.

This coach has shown, time and again, how poor of a manager he is—and honestly, it’s not even funny anymore. Every time we get close to securing our spot in the top four, Maresca finds a way to mess it up. I’m yet to see anything from him that justifies sticking with him next season. He’s an extremely poor coach.

I don’t see his transfer fee being a problem—especially if the rumour is true that he actually wants to leave. I mean, we paid £100m for Enzo and £75m for Mudryk, both rubbish players. Even the individual fees—or the combined money—we’ve spent on bums like Madueke, Sterling, and Neto could’ve gone towards a proper winger. I believe Boehly and his gangs can get it done if they really want to.

Rumour has it Rodrygo might leave the Bernabeu at the end of the season. At 24, he’s better than all our wingers combined. Hopefully, Boehly and Eghbali at least make an attempt to sign him. It would be a disgrace to head into next season with the same underperforming wingers still on our books.
