A governor bought you a luxury car worth N15 million—but in 2025, there’s no way he could afford that without his wallet crying for mercy, especially when he doesn’t earn more than N2 million. But hey, logic’s clearly on holiday. If the word daft ever needed a physical form, it’d be a 5.5ft quack tech bro from the Niger Delta, no question. You don’t talk money because you don’t have any. If you did, the rest of us wouldn’t hear a moment’s peace. Maybe that’s why whatever it is you worship has left you blind and broke. As wicked Wike would say: if e didn’t dey, e didn’t dey! No honour, no principle, no morals, no discipline, no integrity, no dignity and absolutely no MONEY. Shalom. |
On this thread — and across the wider NL forum — we’ve got people at all sorts of stages in life. From teenagers still living with their parents, getting ready for uni (or already in it), to fresh graduates, corpers, job seekers, newly employed peeps, and others just beginning to find their feet. Then there are the career politicians — some who graduated a decade ago or earlier and are now collecting N15 million car “gifts” — and, of course, the everyday professionals and entrepreneurs who’ve either finished uni in the last decade or long before and have genuinely earned their stripes. Naturally, each group has its own earning potential. Ideally, the older ones are more financially settled — and yes, there are even some younger, highly skilled individuals who’ve progressed quickly and are already earning serious money right here in Nigeria. I know quite a few personally. But what’s honestly irritating is seeing a child — someone who’s never worked a day in his life, never earned an honest living, and never paid a kobo in tax as a fully bodied adult male — constantly coming online to run his mouth. It’s honestly embarrassing behaviour. I mean, how do you hold others accountable when you’ve never even been accountable yourself? Ten years after graduating uni, supposedly earning money, yet you’ve never paid your fair share of tax? No be hypocrisy be that? So here’s the bottom line: live and let live. Ride your keke in your lane, and let others trek their trek jejely in peace. To each their own. You’re not Einstein or Elon Musk — you haven’t discovered, built, or accomplished anything extraordinary that others on this forum (or outside it) aren’t already doing, quietly and without fanfare. Being the loudest in the room doesn’t make you the most accomplished. Be humble — you’re just the loudest, that’s it! And that N15 million “luxury” car? That’s between you and your village people. Me and mine don’t rate it as luxury in the slightest. Not all hands are equal — that’s life. Men deal with it. Children whine about it. And just because someone like Ibime — a British man — casually calls you “mate” doesn’t mean you’re in the same league. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. We might all chat like mates on here, but let’s not mistake banter for parity. Facts. To everyone else reading this: may your keke of yesterday never become your definition of luxury tomorrow — Amen! And for those who are still saving for their first keke, or just bought one recently — even if it cost you N15 million — know that while it may not be a luxury car, it’s a solid start. These are your days of humble beginnings. May your tomorrow bring you the true luxury you dream of. Amen! By the way, this post isn’t an invitation to resume any back and forth — especially not with you, Disstroy. Any mentions from your end will be ignored going forward. |
Omo — maybe in some alternate universe, a Peugeot 504, 505, regular old Benz, Concord, padded 360, 180, a 1998 Toyota Highlander, Beetle, ancient Hummer SUV, 1985 Mazda, or even a Danfo would all count as “luxury.” Because clearly, if 50% of the population can’t afford it, then it must be top-tier luxury vehicle, right? Just say you were born, bred, and still proudly living in poverty as a fully grown adult — no need to spell it out. |
DissTroy:You’ve never exactly been the brightest bulb in the room — which probably explains why you didn’t land that oil job in the first place. And now look at you, having a full-blown meltdown just because we asked you to name the brand of this so-called N15 million “luxury” car your benefactor allegedly gifted you. The fact that you still can’t see how ridiculous your own post sounds just proves the point — yet another reason your so-called tech career never even got off the ground. May God deliver you from poverty — both of the pocket and the mind. It’s actually wild how you’re now trying to play the victim, when the quote I referenced — your own words, by the way — was just you doing your usual embellishment routine, trying to look more important than you actually are. Let’s be real — no one here has been bragging but you. You’re the only one constantly banging on about your social-economic-political class, your music taste, your women, your fine face, your “elite” connections, and all the so-called classy places you’ve been to. You’ve placed yourself above everyone here without having a clue who you’re even talking to — and now you want to cry foul just because someone finally questioned your standard of living? Come off it. You can’t be both the villain and the victim, the rich and the poor, living in luxury and struggling with poverty. Pick a side, Ekaette. The cheek of you, acting like a N15 million car is some rare feat — when in reality, those are the same cars most adult men with half-decent jobs, who’ve worked, earned, and paid their taxes for years, have been driving without needing a trumpet. But in your world, they must suddenly disappear in 2025 just to prop up your weak narrative? Just because you shout the loudest in here doesn’t mean you’d stand a chance in the real world. And let’s not forget your strange habit of blurring the line between what’s yours and what belongs to the state — like public resources are part of your personal CV. And like I said before — I’m not getting into a gbola-measuring contest with you, because mine’s already certified OG. I’ve told you time and again, there’s absolutely nothing new or groundbreaking about anything you’ve ever “championed” on here. For the record, here are my posts clearly addressing both the current earning power of people today and the types of cars that can realistically be considered luxury in today’s market. So let’s not pretend you’re dropping anything revolutionary. diggz: diggz:Lastly, you really need to take Nihilist’s advice and upgrade those quack Wikipedia/IT skills you’ve been using to impress your village people. If you actually had any real knowledge — and your earning power was solid enough to pay your fair share of tax like every other grown man — the mention of a N15 million car not being considered luxury in 2025 wouldn’t be sending you into a public meltdown on a forum like this. Na who go tell this pikin say him definition of luxury na detty? I go answer you when I get time. |
No violence inside my post ooooo. Abeg olokpa free dem please ![]() |
DissTroy:You want to lamba us? Point to a single post where Ibim.e, Oasis, or Air-mark ever used their dealings with the FG to show off that they roll with the high and mighty in society. It’s your deeply rooted inferiority complex and constant need to present yourself a certain way that’s got you rightly called out — and deservedly so! |
DissTroy:Cho Cho Cho. Abeg drop model and year of the N15million luxury car DissTroy: |
In case you haven’t noticed, there’s a reason I’ve always called you a prepackaged human — you’re a two-faced character who hijacked other people’s personalities when you first joined NL. Nothing you’ve ever bragged about on this forum is new, authentic, or even remotely noble. Let me break it down for you: every man has a basic duty to contribute to his community in whatever way he can. What you’re doing isn’t groundbreaking — it’s the bare minimum. Men have been doing real work across the Niger Delta long before you strolled in from Ogun State and conveniently discovered a “cause” after failing to land that oil job. Just like your made-up stories about growing up in Lagos, the so-called N15 million “luxury” car, and the fake reviews on your company — you’ve built a habit of lying, not just to others, but to yourself. You’re not driven by purpose. It’s about your ego, your wallet, and the desperate need to have something to show off. Three years ago, you were parading your “startups,” talking down to everyone like you were some sort of tech boss. Now? No startup, no success — just the harsh truth catching up with you. You’re not as young or ahead as you thought you’d be. So what now? More lies to prop up the image? And let’s not pretend you’ve ever been the brain behind anything in your circles. You’ve never led anything including those training sessions — you’ve always just been a useful Ekaette. It’s laughable how you act like you’re the only one trying to make a difference in this world, as if the rest of us are bystanders. And yet you have the nerve to call out fraud while being a serial tax evader who’s never paid a kobo in income tax. You’re not fighting for change — you’re just fighting for your cut, dressing it up as activism. That N15 million car lie? It didn’t just fall flat — it exposed your whole idea of “luxury.” Even with all your supposed connections, that’s the best flex you could manage? And I asked you before — with all these “links” you keep name-dropping, why hasn’t a single one ever truly backed you? All you gave in response was a long-winded rant with zero substance. Meanwhile, we’ve seen the proof — you’ve done business with some of them, yet no one’s actually bet on you. That says it all. If there’s one useful thing that’s come out of all this back and forth, it’s that you’ve finally been unmasked — a man with no integrity, no morals, just chasing cheap thrills however you can get them. And speaking of cheap thrills — let’s not forget, you even slept with your friend’s girlfriend. You’re actually right about one thing — there’s absolutely no comparison between us. I’m just a regular guy, quietly doing my bit and contributing to society like any decent human should. You? You’re far too busy living in your alternate reality — aka social media — where ego trips, imaginary clout, and made-up achievements seem to be your full-time hustle. |
DissTroy:Oh, lovely story. At least you’ve finally posted an actual, unfiltered photo of the 5.5ft skinny boy — thanks for that. Anyway, pretending to be busy is quite the sport, especially when you’ve been lied to all your life and spent just as much time lying to yourself. But eventually, reality catches up. Just three years ago, you were going on about your “multiple startups,” talking down to everyone here like you were some sort of mogul and they were mere employees. Fast-forward to today — no startups in sight, and you’re only just realising you’re not as young or as far ahead as you thought you’d be. So what’s the plan now? Chuck out more lies to make yourself seem important? Let’s not even get started on that N15 million “luxury” car lie. If anything, it just showed the kind of “luxury” you’ve actually been exposed to in life — and this is coming from someone who brags endlessly about their connections. I remember asking you the other day — with all these so-called “connections” you’re always going on about, why hasn’t anyone ever backed you? Instead, you launched into a long-winded monologue with no real answer. And yet, there’s proof that you’ve done business with these people. So again — why haven’t they ever put anything real behind you? You lie far too much. But if there’s one positive that’s come out of all this back and forth between us, it’s that you’ve been exposed for what you truly are — someone with no morals, no integrity. And let’s not forget: you even went as far as sleeping with your friends’ girlfriend. Quick question though — why should anyone believe a word you say anymore? Or have we forgotten how I caught you red-handed, faking company reviews? DissTroy:I’ll ask again: why settle for being the Temu version of Reno? |
raumdeuter:When him go visit Borno or Plateau State as a leader should? |
raumdeuter:Busy doing what exactly there? |
