However, among those available now, we can still rate Gyokeres as top 3 striker in the world. Good that Deeney said that's his own opinion, which can be proved wrong with time. I suspect he is using Gyokeres playing in the Portuguese league to stereotype.

If you watch his goals since when he was in Coventry, you will know that Gyokeres is not an emergency striker like Jackson.

Thanks for confirming. Despite my nigga swearing by it, the thing never hook me. I don't have time for slow cook series. Opening scene should be dramatic and hook you straight away like the shooting of the German in Jackal. A better striker would have scored more than 8 this season as there are no goals he scored that a clinical finisher wouldn't have scored. He is willing to succeed and i appreciate that, but football is a serious business with no emotions if you want to run a successful club. If you want to be the best you must be able to beat the best.

We saw Watkins miss two clear 1 v 1 today. I am sure most people rate him as a better finisher than MJ. Please, remove the penalties from the totals of those currently above MJ in the league and explain why the young man is still receiving so much criticism from you.

Overperforming for his price tag is not the argument here. Today i expected him to score more than a goal because Villa's central defence hasn't been doing well, and as predicted he got the chances. Solanke scored a brace against them, and with Sancho and Neto playing i expected Jackson to feed off that. He wasted those chances to score a brace or 3.

Chelsea need a reliable striker who will push us to the next level and Jackson is not the one and like i said earlier, he can be a backup striker at best. Today he should have scored like 2 goals and propel us to 2nd.

As of today, MJ is holding his own against the likes of Haaland in the league. Eight goals and three assists without a single penalty do not indicate a wasteful striker to me. In fact, there isn't a single striker in the world who takes all their chances in a match, including your fave and Haaland.
