The concept of one person bringing his whole clan or constituency is gone especially in the south.

Odii is an Atiku boy and has the support of traditional PDP "big boys" including Sam Egwu and former SFG Ayim Pius Ayim.

Although, I agree that the zoning sentiments are against him, Nwafuru is not popular and he is seen as Umahi third term. The implication is that many people are ready to sacrifice zoning if that it what it takes to stop Umahi.
