HEALTH SECTOR: The Ugwuanyi following projects were initiated or completed by the Ugwuanyi Administration

1. Enugu State University of Health Science and Applied Science, Igbo Ano.
2. Completion of the Enugu State Diagnostic Centre, Independent Layout
3. Enugu State Centre for Infectious Disease, Enugu.
4. Amenity Specialist Hospital, Enugu Ezike.
5. Upgrade of three district Hospitals (Nsukka, 9th Mile and Agbani) to General Hospital.
6. Construction of 9 District Hospitals (Igbo Eze South, Udenu, Nkanu East, Ezeagu, Igbo Etiti, Uzo Uwani, Isi Uzo. Agwu and Oji River)

As the Ugwuanyi Administration approaches the end, I will be reviewing key projects/programs that shaped the life of this Administration.

Edeoga was commissioner of environment, I don't think he has covered himself in glory with the waste management situation in Enugu presently. It's just frustrating none of the top contenders have any history of creating and managing wealth.

Strangely, ESWAMA is not under the Ministry of environment. The agency reports to the Chief of Staff to the Governor (don't know why it is so).

However, I don't like Edeoga and I don't even see the governor supporting him. Ugwuanyi is very cunny. I believe he is using him as a front to take away attention from his preferred successor. We may likely see a surprise.

Nigerians and way of inflating contract. Africa leadership university Rwanda cost meagre if $15 million to complete. Very standard university that will beat some of private universities we have in Nigeria here. While uncompleted peace mass university is already 100 million dollars. God help us in this country.

Maduka University is quite big. The landmass is bigger than the University of Nigeria, Nsukka Campus. It has primary, secondary and University sections and the secondary school section alone has structures that can compete with some private universities.

It is also going to have its own independent Gas power plant with a Solar powered Mini-grid as a failover.

I don't doubt him when he says he has spent $100 million dollars there.

It's funny how most people don't know how rich Onwa Nsukka ( CEO Peace Mass) is.

I travelled from Port Harcourt to Enugu recently and I doubt if you can drive for 5 minutes without seeing any of his vehicle..

For every 10 travelers you see on the road traveling via commercial bus, 4 are using Peace Mass Transit.

BTW, Sam Maduka Onyishi is a silent Billionaire. Aside from his Transport Business. He holds a substantial share in FCMB, Globus Bank, May & Baker Pharmaceuticals, VFD Group and C and I Leasing.

I doubt there is any non-political exposed person richer than him in Enugu State.

Well, It depends on how you look at it.

For instance, Maduka Onyishi, the promoter of Maduka University Ekwegbe recently said he has spent over $100 Million (60 Billion) on that project.

I know you won't be happy if Ugwuanyi announces that he is spending 35% of our budget on one University.
