Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo has issued a warning to Nigerians that re-electing President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019 will bring more suffering to them. Obasanjo’s comment was contained in a statement to the Press by his media aide, Kehinde Akinyemi, where he clarified his support for Atiku and advised Nigerians to vote a credible candidate. The Statement read; “While Chief Olusegun Obasanjo is in Cairo to attend the maiden edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF), of which he is Chairman of the Advisory Council, his attention has been drawn to a report by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) with the headline “Atiku: Obasanjo Shifts Political Gear to Neutral.” It is disingenuous, if not malicious, for anyone to suggest that Chief Obasanjo was being neutral when he chose not to use the Owu Convention as a platform for political campaign but instead adopt a communal and familial approach in talking to members of his Owu family. For the records, and as accurately reported by some media organisations, what the former president said at the convention in Iwo was that while he would not impress any candidates on them, Nigerians should vote for credible candidates who will drive growth and development and make their lives better than it is now. Only a fool will sit on the fence or be neutral when his or her country is being destroyed with incompetence, corruption, lack of focus, insecurity, nepotism, brazen impunity and denial of the obvious. Chief Obasanjo is no such fool nor is he so unwise.” He urged Nigerians to participate in the voting process and stop being ‘inactive’. “If they do not become active and get much needed change of the current administration to a government that will improve the economy, regain the confidence of investors and generally drive growth, development and economic progress with security, what is coming will be much worse than what Nigerians currently suffer,” the statement read.

deomelo:you haven't answered my question. I'm from the North East. sorry I want to add a second question.. Since you say I'm jobless, is campaigning for someone a job? are you living a fulfilled life campaigning for a dead person? |
why is buhari not campaigning for 2019 elections. could it be that he has accepted his loss already or perhaps he's not who we think he is anymore |
Jubril can not campaign for buhari of blessed memory. Aisha will not Let him. |
you can tell inec to transfer you to your LGA of choice. hence your hometown. |
Juliusmalema:I hope you know what happens to every state tthat adopt the caliphate approach. they don't work on Fridays, therefore it's holiday for them, so they get three day weekends. add up those three weekends in a year that's be low productivity. secondly they encourage begging, meaning they don't want to work anymore. then after they start hating Western education, which means they will be disadvantaged in so many things. and lots of uneducated people. then they will be radicalized. |
Juliusmalema:which means oba of Benin is sitting in a broken chair be that. he will soon find out that no one is bowing to him but everyone is looking East where the igbos recide. |
Edodefender:let's forget about Calabar, I'm only using ikom LGA. They have 24 hour water supply.(I'm not kidding you) just in case you didn't know cross River State water board runs 24 hours. they have good roads. their Technical colleges have free WIFI (I mean college not University) there are more tourist (I mean oyibo men) that visit ikom more than your ancient City of Benin. Driving into Benin is like going into the Badlands. |
cross River State is better than Edo state. in fact only ikom LGA is better than the whole of Edo state. Let's forget about Calabar.

A time will come when you tell the truth they will call it hate speech. and you'll go to jail for telling the simple truth. for example this man said that buhari has failed in his fight against insurgency as Commander in Chief. next thing he gets invite from EFCC. If I say that APC will loose the presidential election, I also get an invite from EFCC. we lost over 100 soldiers and the presidency acted like nothing happened. they tried to suppress the news. EFCC doesn't want us to express our opinions anymore. is it the work of EFCC to arrest someone for expressing his views. Nnamdi kanu says something he gets invited by the EFCC, let's not forget the meaning of EFCC. |
Maestro147:then when the fighting stops what next. I hope you know game of thrones didn't even have a good fight choreography but their storyline was top notch. they only started good fighting towards season 7. |
Unik3030:and why? a Commander in Chief, who's not in command. and you think there's nothing wrong with that, because he is your brother or because you pity him. don't pity any of this guys because when they Rob this country blind they don't even have you in mind. |
did you check the clothes of the people that went to the rally to see if they wore the same clothes they wore in 2015? it was a rally at the same location. but you won't understand these things. |
their fighting is good but their storyline is trash. I'll give it a 4 |
this is how 2019 will look like next level
|
ah ah, so Jeremiah Useni, the former military administrator is now a senator. LoL Nigerians will not stop surprising me. well i don't blame him, I blame those who vote him to the Senate. when will your own time come. |
Abfinest007:wise words of the day |
pride cometh before a fall, just like oyedepo said that he's dangerously rich. this men of God are not even richer than some billionaires in America, their pride is nothing to write home about. |
Unik3030:his wife says he (buhari) is not the one in control of this country. what do you have to say about that.? |
Aisha is indirectly saying her husband Buhari is not in control, therefore we should substitute anyone in there, hence, Hence I believe the Jubril Aminu Al sudani narrative |
so no freedom of movement anymore. |
Develpeast:how is it tampered with, I've checked the picture and it has not been tampered with, I even checked for blue areas to see if it's been edited, I didn't see. pls tell me how did you check yours, because I downloaded it too B4 check. the only place touched is that intimesreporter and that 2015 and 2018 nothing in his hands |
