homicsblinks:My bro, no be lie. Infact make I understand the guy. This country no dey smile for boys sha. I visited Sweden and couldn't but wonder how a small country wey no reach my state dey get things easy when we wey be their baba dey chop sand and use teeth grind stone. |
"How can we save when we are not sovereign" Just when you thought you have heard it all in this country, another mumu comes along. Without total fiscal Federalism; we are wasting our time. People like Aregbesola and Fayose can fritter the state resources on frivolities because they are expecting free money from the FG. When it fails to come as expected, they complain and whine like babies prevented from suckling. The states are like spoilt children of a very rich man. They are hopeless, helpless and lazy . They cannot fend for themselves even at old age cos they have been wired not to. |
![]() Is something wrong with me or those people? I can't even understand a thing all of them wrote with the hopeless emojis that don't make sense. I guess if I were a teacher many people will forego school, because na mass failure dem go dey harvest at the end of every term/semester/session. |
Even if na for green card(as we all know it is), are there not young women in that country who can go into such arrangement with him? I mean how person go dey look very stupid for him own wedding. The shame too go extend reach him family. What if this oyibo is older than the oldest person in his village? |
She should have worn a flat heeled sandals. The shoe made it an over-dressing. 2face looks good. |
I am more concerned about your small d!ck and balls plus the shavelessness of the area. BTW, how many girls have you slept with since the past 5 years? You have infected them with this stuff. Please, cover up and hit the hospital. |
It is only a tree that does not run away or try to save itself, on sighting a man approach it with an axe to cut it down. You cannot beat me and deny me the right to cry. I must cry and wail to show that you beat me and it pains me. Shikinan! |
joborskill:What happened to intensive husbandry? I am not against any Fulani man coming to my village to buy a land and start up a ranch where he can rear his cattle within the confines of the ranch and not roaming with it along the road or in people's farms. These days the most common thing that dirty car tyres on the highways are cow poo; Making our streets dirty and smelly. The killings that result from clash with these normads are very glaring for all to see. Imagine the lives wasted. Their dependents are going to suffer the consequences of a normad, unrestricted and living his life like it is 98 BC. People should keep their cows in ranches bro cos that is how it is done in the 21st century. We are no longer in the Abrahamic times when people move around with their herd. You sound like a youth and should think like one. |
Caseless:I know say you go be a serious jazz man. I also know that you keep gemu and your trousers don't touch your heel. |
Oshiomhole is a babalawo himself. Those that reprimanded the Deputy for wanting to swear before a native doctor instead of the bible, why didn't they ask Oshiomhole why he too did not carry the matter to God in prayer or wait for God to reveal his Deputy's evil plan to him, since he too is a christian. Stup!d, nonsense and ingredient. |
Amaechi, as Governor of Rivers state tried his best and did better than Odili. Now he seems to have lost it all. It is all about doing battle to him now. |
The topic should have been: Confusion hits CNPP and PMB at same time. Amaechi and Co are not PMB's problem. PMB is his own problem. "Seest thou a man who is wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fo.ol than him." As long as Buhari remains our all-knowing President who does no wrong and has the answer to all our problems, his Ministers will never live to their full potentials. They will always lurk in his shadow; afraid to 'make noise' and be termed 'noise makers'. Ther are scared stiff of bringing their ideas to governance. Kachikwu might be failing as a Minister, but at least he tries to proffer solution and bring new ideas to his Ministry. The rest are dead cats. Fashola is only interested in his elitist policy of working against the poor masses. He has already increased electricity tariff and is gunning for another increase. Ask him and he'll point to advanced countries and compare the tariff. What he won't tell you is that our minimum wage is #18,000 and minimum electricity bill is #7,000. He won't also tell you that people are owed salaries here for up to one year. Mumu at work, yet some clowns are applauding him. News is beginning to emerge on how the FCT Minister went round bribing and compromising the security operatives and INEC personnel in the recently concluded FCT area council elections. That is a dead looking Minister that goes to work to clock in time, say his prayers as at when due and leave for home. The FCT has become a shadow of what it was under El rufai. Even Bala Mohammed is being missed with his tales by moonlight style of administering the FCT. CNPP should rather call for the resignation of this cabinet...and PMB. Let Osinbajo handle it the rest of the way. We can't afford to waste our 4 years under Buhari. He has shown not to know what modern governance is all about. |
OneManLegion:Thanks for the encouragement. I appreciate. |
chukwudi44:You are right! A strong and independent Senate President ensures that his colleagues are well 'fed' and taken 'care' of. Some of the APC Senators supporting their party's position are only doing it on the surface cos they know that very soon, it shall be another election year and they'll have to return to their constituencies with largesse to 'buy' their votes again. Kabiru Marafa is only shouting to attract the attention and support of his party in his Governorship bid in Zamfara state, come 2019. He also wants Chairman committee on appropriations(if his candidate becomes the SP) so he can make enough money for his ambition. In all, the Senators shall support the side that guarantees them financial stability and indpendence. This is why Saraki had been winning so far; he holds a better promise than the party. |
Unblockable:Is Oyegun your father or grandpa? Ask him to resign and go and chill in his recliners in Edo state. He is old enough to retire instead of disgracing himself upandan as a toothless bulldog party chair. There are 3 factions in APC and he is not a strong member of any. He is just a floating member of APC in Abuja. The Buhari/El rufai faction he is running after does not trust him enough to make him their member. The Tinubu/Osinbajo faction are waiting to deal with him and strip him of that office. The Atiku/Saraki faction will not hesitate to jail him for the numerous deals he has been passing under the table and for being a spineless and cowardly fellow who cannot stand his ground. |
Saraki will definitely leave and his so called supporters will show themselves as fair wind supporters. It happened before, it shall happen again. BTW, Nigerians mumu dey touch the sky. We spend all our days now guessing and making permutations about who will and will not succeed Saraki, while fuel scarcity, poor electricity supply, economic hardship and a dictatorship is descending heavily on us. This is a huge distraction because whoever becomes the Senate President will only change the fortunes of those close to him/her. It won't change that of the country cos he's a primus interparis. |
Stanleywaxy:See as you call am like say you with am been dey play for anguwan that year. |
niceprof:Very true. Those people are terrible beings. One Najeriya my left foot! |
Melinde:It is called sacloth or akpa nnu. Same thing Job wore in the bible when he was suffering. |
Melinde:It is called sacloth or akpa nnu. Same thing Jib wore in the bible when he was suffering. |
Like Ibori, like Saraki. Who the gods want to destroy; they first make haughty and mad. Saraki is still lying about the truth of his travails. His problem started the day he felt he was bigger than the President of Nigeria(GEJ) and would not be seen deferring to him. He gathered the likes of Amaechi and Danjuma Goje around him and they were constituting nuisance. They disrespected everyone and felt comfortable with it. His new party members saw the trouble he and his crew gave GEJ and decided to cut him to size before he wrecks them. His fight with Asiwaju Tinubu; a dogged fighter and strategist, is nothing but "the best form of defence, being attack". He cut Tinubu to size barely 5 months in his party and Tinubu has decided to deal with him too. We know his trial is flawed from day one, but he must relinquish that Senate Presidency cos that is the prize at stake. Tinubu has tasted power now and is baying for his blood. He wants Saraki's political career terminated so as to humble him like Alams, forever. When the gods want to punish a man; they set his own dog after him. Danjuma Goje, Amaechi and Co shall soon reap their own reward fast. They should have known that no man rises to power quickly in Nigeria by scheming and blackmail. You can only do this by 'appearing' moronic, stupid and loyal to the kingmakers. That was what propelled GEJ to power and places. Buhari too had to learn this in his last outing and it landed the Presidency that eluded him for long in his laps. The absence of this moronic and stupid disposition and too much scheming destroyed the likes of Ibori, Alams, Timipre Sylva and will eventually add Saraki to the list. Dogara? He is an establishment man who knows how to 'appear' moronic and stupid for his masters to shine and take the glory. He is the only Speaker of the HoR that was elected with the support of all past Speakers(living or dead ) This is why he is more successful than Saraki and this is why Gbajabiamila(with all his arrogance and scheming) could not win the office. |
Where is the one Buhari received during the campaigns. Are his kids playing with it or is it the President that play with it himself? Buhari might have kept it under the bed and when everyone is asleep, he'll reach for it and play with it thus: PMB: A-haa! Let me ride my small train. (He reaches under the bed and pulls it out.) Let me check if it runs well(he holds it by the top and roll the toy on the floor). Good! It maintains a good speed. Walahi let me visit Inuwa Daura(his childhood playmate) in his father's farm. (He rolls it on the floor again and makes the sound of a train) Po-ooom! Chiki chiki chiki chiki chiki... Po-ooom! Chiki chiki chiki...(He lies on his stomach on the foor, as he is fully transported to his childhood days, when he watched trains snaking down the rails in Daura and imagined himself visiting Inuwa Daura in one of them, one day as a train driver) Inu-waaa! (The voice of his friend's mum rings in his head, as she announces his arrival) abo.ki nka ya zo! (he blushes in boyish delight) kai! Buru uba!! (he remembers that Inuwa had been dead since 1967 and didn't make it to adulthood. It dampens his mood and he hurriedly stands up. He looks around and it dawns on him that he is not in Daura as a little boy, but in Aso rock as the President of Nigeria. He looks round to see if anyone was watching and quickly hides the toy train under the bed. He dusts his chest where he laid on the floor. Kai! Inuwa Abo.ki na. Shege abo.ki na! (He opens the door to let himself out and..) " Mr President! The wisest and most incorruptible baba of our nation. Sai Zaki! " The Aso rock praise singers are hard at work. Lai Mohammed is by the corner writing a new speech about '16 wasted years and the effort to rebuild' In another note pad, he has the manuscript of a new book on Tinubu, titled: Asiwaju; the Most intelligent and corrupt-free politician of our time. . He also came to inspect how the praise singers are faring in their jobs. PS: Admin, how can u change the word abo.ki to 'Northerner'. C'mon, it is a word in Hausa & even if it is used in a derogatory manner here on nairaland, it does not remove the fact that it means 'friend' in Hausa language. Why can't those in the Literature section have a free rein on words to convey their thoughts? |
Ringside! |
He might not disposed to 'shearing' and the Senators abhor it. |
That's Comrade Timi Frank; the National Assistant Publicitiy Secretary of the APC. I know him o and he has money. That is his nature. He is Atiku's boy and Atiku is forming Saraki's Oga. That is why the dude is all over Saraki. BTW, OP the dude can buy you and keep you like a cat in his home. And feed you milk and fish like nwa buussu. |
How true? |
NFF = One step forward, seventy back. Reminds me of the dog and its vomit. |
Nice . When he gets home, the wife shall bath and breastfeed him till he sleeps off. |
Too many make-up during her hey days has spoilt Maggie's face. She looks old and worn out. RIP Maggie. |
It is no rocket science that Saraki is going; the issue now is what degree of damage can he do to the party after he is gone? None. Saraki knows how to pull the rug from under people's feet. Today, same measure is being applied to him. We are enjoying the show...ringside! After his removal, Tinubu and Atiku will parry awhile, before inviting every other party member for a free for all. |
SarAki rose to power betraying his benefactors and superiors: from his father to Goodluck Jonathan. Same way he rallied the world against Jonathan for APC, the APC is rallying the world against him. I am not trying to speak for Jonathan. No! I am just saying that Karma is a hoe and goes to bed with whomever's turn it is to. Yesterday, it was Jonathan's turn, for Abandoning the poor masses that voted him into power and hobnobbing with the rich. The same rich persons abandoned him when he needed them most( Dangote, Otedola et al contributed heavily to Buhari's election through Saraki). Today, it is Saraki's turn. The same party he did all for in betraying his former. party has betrayed him too. Tomorrow it shall be another's turn... |
