Do you really think everybody posting here is a pregnant mom or potentially pregnant mom looking to give birth in the states?

Pls best believe that we have doctors, agents of hospitals, hotels, short stay apartments and doctors, etc moonlighting with us here and steering people to a particular place.

Iv been on Nairaland for 9 years! Every thread has marketers, agents, representative of both local and international companies trolling about.

Have you asked yourself while these negative reviews for Mihs always ends up exulting doctoresperati?

Or have you seen any negative review of mihs that dint praise elpaso or don't have anything to do with elpaso? Point me to that post if there is

Are they the only two hospitals in the USA? Lol!!!

Still doesn't answer my question and the solution is shutting people down and judging them all based on perception/assumption?wow that's really civil.

I have read lots of sarcastic posts about those going to Del Sol by those MIHS bound and no one attacked them and yes I have read post where people who used hospitals in places like Maryland/Newyork etc which was a lot more expensive got Infos here went to El Paso and even MIHS and came back to share being thankful that they were able to save alot of money and still got good service that had nothing to do with comparing both places(shame we've lost those pages)

Olu of El paso's sharing his experience had nothing to do with MIHS yet he was termed as marketing.

@are the only two hospitals in the USA-good question so why are these agents not bringing down(in your words) the more expensive hospitals like WHMC and others mentioned on this thread-one would think they marketers will be targeting others too not just one place.


Exalt?Some1 uses two services and prefers the other and it's bringing down/exalting?The sentiments and energy with which people run to assume,attack and defend is amazing!!!!

I might just be tagged the next judgemental person/agent and it will be okay as long as am El Paso bound:it's a big shame.

lively123: Thank u Uchetobi for your comment. I asked direct questions that can be verified and all of a sudden Abujamomma71 has crawled back to her shell. These people have the same features, they register, drop their comparison post without specific details and take off. It's a pity a lot of the page has been wiped off, we would have quoted them.

If you have a problem with a service, u should be able to say exactly what went wrong, but these agents give a vague post and confuse people.

Like Uchetobi said, we should not come here get free information and use the same thread to want to make money off others, because I know people silently contact these agents through email when they refuse to answer follow up questions.

Again, Abujamomma71, i put it to you, give us specifics, a lot of us MIHS mommas are here to verify your claims.

Pls can you give names of the people you know who personally contact these agents via email I would also like you to give specifics

You can share your experience without running mihs down or comparing with mihs. That's an easy way to spot dosresperati agents!

Besides their pattern or writing is the same. It's unfortunate that we lost some pages else IDv quoted some past post so u can compare the pattern of writing with abujamomma71!

A lot of people are in Mihs now, if she truly used it let her say the day she gave birth and where she stayed so that it can be verified once and for all. And that's a DARE btw.

How come nobody that has contributed meaningfully to the thread, or someone that has interacted with other nairalanders in mihs or better still someone that has reviews about Mihs in comparison to a place that is not elpaso posted any negative review about mihs. Common now it's a no brainer!

I dint use mihs, I have no plans of using it but I hate deceptive people camouflaging as agents to give dishonest reviews.

Besides how does one get paid or rewarded by Del sol for sharing her information here pls educate me for it means someone definitely got rewarded over our decision to go there trust me there are a couple of us and we would like to know-I ask this because I went to their website after taking in the 18something pages of this thread and contacted them directly.I can't remeber her name but Mrs something she has been an active member of this thread till she got to the USA visited both places and went back to El Paso I remeber the attack she got when she said she was headed back to El Paso because she prefered it there that was her last post here my dear I don't know about you or anyone else but preference is not something you explain and what we term as good service is relative-I have a wonderful healthcare where I live if I decided to have my child here I won't pay a dime and I will be treated like a queen@any hospital I go why am I going to the US to spend money?preference-Does that make me stupid or an agent promoting child birth in the USA?

Or rather we make use of our Island Maternity and face the horror of those MAMA matrons. My hubby us trying to get another appointment for us to both attend the interview again.I pray this time around we get a better deal by His Grace.
If you have been refused visa in Lagos and you appeared after a while,I would like to find out what's ur experience altru.
Because ....my mind Don dey go Brazil o....Cos once you have a baby there ,you,hubby and other immediate siblings go get instanta citizenship.

I have just returned from a "successfull" delivery in MIHS. I have been a long time lurker of this forum and have appreciated EVERYBODY's invaluable help. This was may second delivery after my first was 7 years ago in El Paso (Doctoresparati.com), I think before this thread stared and was EXTREMELY pleased. I decided to try MIHS because many on this forum were going do to price (and I am not rich by any means).

In any case, I was not impressed with the service but it could be because I had alread been to El Paso and could compare that the service was simply at another level. It was extremely difficult to maintain communication MIHS before we went and was almost denied entry where everything was smooth with Doctoresparati from the first moment of contact. Also, the distance to he hospital was alot longer and more expensive to the point that added all together it was almost the same in El Paso which offerred better service. There had been some post here by some dear members showing the rankings of both MIHS and Del Sol (Doctoresparati) and hopefully people do their research as they are very true stating El Paso coming out above average and MIHS with below average rating.

All in all Im glad I made it back safe but I think I could have gotten a better deal if I had gone back to El Paso. I must admit that I was very nervous when I would read (before the 200+ posts were erased) that people already enrolled and in Phoenix would travel back to El Paso (somebody should try to recover all those threads). Also, there is a very big international comunity in El Paso staying at the more popular hotels (the El Paso clan) that make the whole process much easier since everybody helps each other which was also exteremly helpfull and invaluable. I hope I was able to help but eveybody has there reasons to go wherever they choose, I only wanted to share my experience and hopefully it helps someone as this forum has helped me and so many more. dabigwalls: Wife and I got in over a week ago and the POE (JFK) was a breeze to the glory of Jehovah God. The officer seemed quite delighted to have us come to have our baby in the U.S. In under 2 mins of friendly chat we were off. Faster than other people who seemed to be in the U.S for other purposes. Suffice to say that till date (we are in El Paso now) nobody has checked any document from us yet. Not during the visa interview or at POE. All the documents have remained sealed. My statement of account was checked during the interview and that has been the only document I remember presenting - NO LETTER OF RESPONSIBILITY, NO ACCOMODATION RESERVATION. NO NOTHING. AT POE, NO CASH ASKED, NO QUESTION ABOUT FINANCES, NO QUESTION ABOUT ACCOMMODATION - just welcome to the U.S.

In El Paso now and looking for Amala or Poundy. My wife has been great all through too. Somebody thank her for me. God bless you all.
